Your POV;
For once, I never felt this peace in months after being taken. All I ever think about is how am I getting out of here and what I should do. But life... Hmm, it started to open my eyes. Maybe I should give it a chance. A chance where I should feel this is my new home, a chance where the sound of my new beginning should be started right away.
Of course, it looked ugly and repugnant at first but it took some time to adjust to a new place and new surroundings. "You're awfully quiet." A voice brought me down to Earth as I dived deep into my own sea of thoughts. Hara slowly munching her foods while her eyes on me. I shake my head, amused to see Hara was observing the whole time.
"See something you like?" I grin, wiggling my brows. Her face were immediately pulled into a grimace. I laughed a little seeing her reactions like that. Maybe Hara was taking her time slowly to open up to me. It couldn't hurt a little having a new company aside from Kris and Mrs. Graye.
"I don't know whether it's my imagination or not, but I don't think you're always this quiet. I'm guessing you're the talkative type of gal, right?" Asked Hara, while sipping the coffee, but her eyes were still trained on me. To think of it, I'm not much of a talker back home, only when being with Key or with Minho, by then I would be one.
Key... Minho.
A pain flashed across my face as I remembered how I pushed him away when he tried to calm me down after I shoved Taemin to the wall. How stupid of me doing that kind of thing to the people who only wanted to help me. A deep pain still can be feel from the bottom of heart for my stupid, obnoxious act.
"Woah there, _____. What...are you doing?"
When I turn to her, Hara stood up from the bed and slowly took a step back, a fear look in her eyes as she looked something behind me. Quickly as I could be, I stand and looked behind me to see if there was any person in my ready stance, in case they were going to attack me. But no. No one was there. No one was in the room except for me and Hara.
"Arghh!"
I heard she screamed behind me as her back faced the cabinet.
" Hara, what's wrong?" I asked, deeply confused by what she was doing right now because it started to freak me out honestly. But as I take a step closer to her, she extend both of her hands in front, trying to stop me from walking closer.
"What's that?" She asked, her lips trembling as she point something behind me. I looked behind, only then I realized what she's talking about. I almost forgot about my wings. When did they came out, I didn't know for sure. No wonder she freaked out and almost freaking me out too.
I decided to let her mind in peace as I retreat gracefully, trying not to scare her with my big wings and sit on my bed. Could it be that Hara doesn't know a thing about the plan they both were making? Okay, is it okay for me to spill it out to her? I was afraid that Kris might find out about it but considering things have definitely changed right now, I guess I have no choice...or maybe, just maybe, a teensy bit of truth will be told to her.
I don't want to tell her this. But clearly neither Kris or Tao didn't told her a single thing about what they were planning on to take over the world.
"Hara, please sit down. I'll tell you the things you need to know," I said, patting the bed beside me, gesturing her to come over. It didn't take a while for her as she cautiously made her way and sat opposite of me. Her eyes never once leave from my wings so I snapped my fingers to capture her attention to me again.
"Deep breathe, hear me out will you?" I asked, and she nodded. She took a deep breathe like I told her to before changing into her comfortable position of sitting.
"Tell me, everything," said Hara, a serious look on her face as she stated the words.
Here goes nothing...
3rd person's POV;
"You know, humans are... What do they say? Ah yes, disgusting. I could even sense that pungent smell of them from miles away, even if I'm underneath here. I could still smell them. You know, like a rat that should be squished away. Well, it could be worse. Oh, forgive me. Where are my manners? I'm Tao."
"Who are you?" Asked Key. He heard his name clear as crystal, but when Tao was talking, he knew right away Tao was one of Kris's men. He had that gut saying Tao was dangerous guy who never to be meddle with. Suddenly, a strong grip was on his neck, lifting him up until his feet no longer in contact with the cold ground. That was fast because in the blink of an eye, Tao suddenly appeared in front of him and choking him.
"You..." Tao lowered him a bit until they were eye level and began sniffing around. The corner of his lips began to quirk up, grinning to him, "smell a lot like her." He began tightening his grip on Key's neck until his nails in touch with his skin, drawing out blood. Key was gasping for air when that creature was gripping his neck with a deadly force.
Once the blood was enough for him, Tao let go of his grip, making Key fell to the floor, sucking the air much more welcoming, feeling the air into his lungs.
Tao licked his fingers that has Key's blood on it.
"You know you're enjoying this too much, old friend"
Tao cackled evilly before spun around to see his companion standing in the corner of the cell. He stepped out of the shadows with gleaming, yellow eyes and his claw was visible, even though it was dark there.
"I'm enjoying whatever I want, whenever I want, with who I want," Tao replied licking his finger clean.
"Have one more room for me?" The other guy asked, with his sickening smile that made Key felt like a knot is being made in his stomach. This couldn't be good, he thought. True enough, two guys in front of him with their fangs already exposed.
"You're gonna enjoy this as much as I do, Luhan."
