Chap. 66

Few hours passed by in a heartbeat and it was time for Tao and Luhan stopped their 'holy' activity on Key. While the both of them cleaning themselves up as they always do after having their activity, Key was having trouble of breathing as his chest were heaving up and down. Throughout the painful hours, Key was lucky to found himself still breathing even though the wounds that covered most of his body seemed fatal enough for a human to endure it for so long. His neck were full with bitten marks on them; Tao and Luhan had been feasting on him in those hours and would often change places to find some more veins.

"I am so full, thanks for volunteering Key. That's so sweet of you," Luhan smirked then licked his lips, still savoring the sweet taste of Key's blood when it flowed down in his throat. In his years of living in exile, never he thought would had the best meal of the day when Tao rang him up in his mind, saying he found his next victim, only for him. Tao pat him on the back.

"Say, ready for her? ____'s upstairs, undress I hope," said Tao, smirking at the end. The colar of his shirt already been pulled up and raked his fingers through his hair, messing them. Luhan nod his head before both of them vanished in the blink of an eye.

Key was trying to push his limit, struggling to move on the cold floor when he heard one of them mentioned her name and finally on his feet, even though his knees were wobbling but he managed to stable himself by holding the wall.

"I...must...get..to..her" he muttered. Every word that slipped past his lips was aching his body. His face was getting paler each moment that passed, the wounds were getting the best of him but he wouldn't let it bring him down. Even with the lack of light, he tried to search the walls, hoping there was  a secret tunnel or something that would lead him to her.

*****

After she told Hara the whole story, Hara just sat down there, blinking and digesting the story in her head. _____ had felt the tension began growing between them so she waved it away, "Look, I had never have the intention of being like this. But, when I'm here, I feel like I'm home. It feels so wrong of me to say this, but I kinda feel grateful for Kris for bringing me here."

Hara looked at her quizzically. Okay, for once this human of a girl admitted of liked being here, in Underworld, a place where everyone on Earth hated to be placed there. But ____? Something is wrong. "What do you mean 'grateful'? You don't like being up there?" Asked Hara, pointing her index finger up in nowhere, but she knew ____ got the message.

____ shrugged. It's not that she doesn't like being around people up in her world, but she was actually got tired of being alone most of the time in her home. She missed her parents so much but she didn't want to disturb their work, afraid that the calls she made will be unnecessary for them to pick up.

"Okay hold on. Don't tell me you have forgotten about Minho? Or Key? Yeah especially that guy, Key. I know it's depressive being alone and with your craving of attention and love from your parents, I don't think it's necessary for you to live here. This place is..." Hara couldn't find the words because after ____'s arrival there, everything had changed drastically.

"Is not like what you think. You came here, you have Kris, that bastard couple, me and Mrs. Graye. It's crowded, yes, like we never talk that much before you came. My point is, don't change your point of perspective just because there's a lot of people down here with you. You should live up there, with your friend whom I know is worried sick about you right now. You don't want him to think that you're actually abandoning them, are you?"

When ____ didn't say anything, Hara continued, "You're still young, you haven't live your life yet. You still have much to discover and with your youth, you can pretty much do anything what you want." When Hara saw how ____ looked at her, she quickly add it, "and I mean it in a good way." ____ laughed and Hara giggled with how she replied.

Suddenly a rumble happened in the room, stunning Hara and ____  in their place. The rumble happened for a few minutes before two guys appeared in front of them.

"Well, if it isn't my stupid ex" spat Tao, his voice clearly covered with incompatibility. Luhan whispered in his mind. 'Can I have your ex too?' Tao snickered joyfully. 'Why, of course. I don't give a shit' he replied and walked straight to _____. Her outfit was simple but it quickly turned him on even more when ____ gave him a glare.

"Don't you dare!"

Hara jumped in front of ____ and pushed Tao with all her might with her powers that was strangely powerful than ever. Without waiting him to get up, Hara grabbed ____'s wrist and pulled her away as far as she could but Luhan blocked their way. "Na-uh, you won't be going anywhere, sweetheart."

He gripped Hara's neck, pinning her to the wall, making her hard to breathe. Hara was figuring a way out for ____ but she couldn't as the grip tightened. Luhan took a deep breath on her neck, licking his lips. She knew what was to come and she threw one last glance towards _____ who looked so scared. This man in front was much stronger than her and even she tried to resist, there's no telling that it would even budge a bit because his strength overpowered hers.

"Hara!" She yelled and up on her feet but someone pulled her back, caging her in his arms as he took her a step backwards. "Stay here like a good girl, ____ or Hara will have the worst consequences by your immediate yet foolish action," Tao sniggered, his lips brushed on her ear that made her goosebumps arisen all over her body. But ____ will always be _____. What she wanted, she would likely to get it.

She made a hand movement that suddenly popped in her head as she knocked her head backwards, hitting Tao right on the nose and sent him flying to the walls as she dashed forward, grabbing Luhan by the back of his neck as he almost sink his teeth on her neck and stumbled a few steps back, completely unaware of what's happening around.

But when he regained his composure, he gave her a sickening grin with his fangs out and jumped to her,  claws were already at service and tried to grab hold of ____ but she was quick. She moved swiftly to the side and Luhan's attempt on apprehending her failed him but he didn't stop there. A glint of mischief was glittering in his eyes because that was his plan.

When she thought it was safe for them to back out,  oh how she was wrong about it. She turned around to see Hara already knocked out cold on the floor with Tao standing beside her body. She doesn't know what came to her mind, but as she focused on something, Hara's body fell straight into the floor as if the floor had helped her to escape.

"What the-- she's getting the hang of it!" Tao yelled in surprise as he too, witnessed how her body as if melted into the floor and probably landed into level below them. ____ was too preoccupied in her mind and Luhan took this chance to push her, hardly on the wall. "Tao do it now!"

Tao pull out what looked like a silver dagger that has been embedded with few jewelry on the handle;  a gift from Kris years ago for his loyalty. It was pretty; but not for ____ because that thing in his hand would cause some serious bleeds and in this case, it will be her blood on it. He didn't waste any chance as he lunge forward with the dagger in his hand, striking for her heart as he jumped. Luhan stepped away giving his friend some space.

____ closed her eyes tight as she could for she accept her fate; but even the Underworld changed it as quick as the lighting bolted in the sky and gave her the most painful death to see. The dagger never came, but her ears caught it had stabbed someone in the flesh. Certainly it wasn't her because she felt nothing. She pry her eyes; someone stand in front of her, taking the blow. Judging his back facing her, her breathe hitched, her eyes began to watered as she saw it was Key who got it. The blood began to poured on his back, right where his heart were.

"No!!!"

As Key collapsed, she took him in his arms and WHOOSH!

Both of them vanished into thin air, making Tao and Luhan glued to their place. The dagger that was still in his hand trickled with Key's blood and fell to the floor. "I think you just made it worse".
