The life she deserved - part I.

"At last… the life begins today, which should have always been mine."

Smiling, the future queen admired her wedding dress.

"I can't believe after so many fucked up relationships, I finally have a beautiful dress ... I'm going to have a decent wedding… where my parents can also attend."

The dropped-shouldered white lace dress was adorned with beads and diamonds. Ariana saw in the mirror her future husband appearing behind her, taking care not to trample the dress with the 5-meter barge, stepping behind her and hugging her from behind.

"It brings bad luck to see the bride in her dress before the wedding…"

She sighed.

"I don't believe in such tales… but you're beautiful."

Ariana blushed, then looked at the man and kissed him.

After returning to the capital from Lady Zilda's mansion, Gideon showed no particular change in his attitude toward the girl. Something happened on the other hand… when they walked on the hallway next to each other, he always smiled at her… sometimes he simply grabbed her hand in secret. When they ran into each other during an evening walk in the garden, they made love under the tree… not caring about the presence of the staff, or just on a secluded stairwell.

There was no daily sex between them… but they were together, there and whenever they wanted each other… and it was so perfect.

One day, after a pleasant lovemaking, Ariana rested in Gideon's arms while the man stroked her back, Gideon became aware of an interesting thing.

"Huh? What's that?"

"What?"

She asked back.

"There it is."

The man looked in the direction of the blanket as she sat up.

"Where?"

"Well… on your hand."

"What? I do not see anything."

Ariana looked at her hand incomprehensibly, twisting it, but saw nothing special.

"Well, here it is."

Then Gideon pulled a beautiful diamond ring on his finger.

"You still don't see it, my Queen?"

He kissed her hand as his smiling eyes followed her reaction.

It took Ariana a minute to realize what had happened.

'Now… did he really proposed to me?'

Then she kissed the man happily with teary eyes.

"I love you Violet."

"I love you too, Gideon."

The wedding day has come. Fortunately, the delegate from Predin no longer paid their respects at the event, for by this time they were already aware of the illness of the king and his adviser, and the whole country was busy catching the insidious "assassin"…

Ariana marched toward the altar with a bouquet of lilies in her hand, the sparkling sunshine shone through the windows of the church… and the play of lights made the event a supernatural miracle starring an angel.

"Yes, I want to… Yes, I accept…"

There were certain words that connected her to Gideon for a lifetime.

"I hereby declare you in the name of God, as husband and wife. Sanctify the oath with a kiss. "

The priest said.

Ariana turned to Gideon… as the man lifted the veil, the happiest woman in the world looked back at him, who sincerely loved him. Gideon leaned towards her with such a soft smile on his face for the first spousal kiss, that Ariana wished that minute would never end.

"I love you."

He whispered.

"Me too."

The answer came.

"Greet the King and Queen of Hertian."

The priest shouted as they turned to the people. They looked at each other and started to walking hand in hand, for a lifetime together.
