Aftermath of the Show IX

And then there was Ais. probably to most strength obsessed member of Nox's group and the one who abused his fast growth methods almost as much as he did.

Choosing to max out agility, dexterity and magic while having decent though relatively low numbers on strength and endurance, ought to have meant her progress was slightly lesser due to keeping three stats maxed and the others not too low.

With her great zeal and self destructive training made possible by Nox's supplements however, she had the most amount of growth in the group other than Nox, hitting Level 7 as well and being well along in the level too.

Now, while this was a good thing, Nox knew Ais was not as weird in the head as he was, being quite sure her psyche was most definitely straining under the stress, as while his supplements can keep the mind and body healthy and energetic, psychological stress still accumulated.

And seeing the massive amounts of progress the girl had while lacking his broken advantages, suggested she was pushing herself much more than she was despite his own training being nearly suicidal and earning Loki's ire on several occasions.

As such, after the group talks were concluded, Nox decided to bring her aside and have a serious talk with the sword princess, to make sure she was alright and teach her self regulation better. He also figured he would have the others keep an eye on her as well.

For now through, after all the updates, what was once a small group of mid to high class adventurers under Nox, had now become the most powerful force of adventurers in all of Orario.

Four Level 5s, two Level 6s and amazingly, three Level 7s, not counting Nox himself who despite being a Level 6 had enough power to handle a Level 8 to 9 according to his revised predictions, though not having any adventurer of that class to compare himself too, he could never be totally sure.

Even without him though, his group was Orario's mightiest for sure, even with Nox being quite sure neither Filvis, Ais nor Riveria could take down Ottar who was at the very peak of Level 7.

After all, every one of the King's basic abilities other than magic, had been maxed out every single level and already infinitely close to being Maxed out in Level 7 as well.

Regardless, there were three of them and with Haruhime's monstrous buffs added to the mix, they could all jump to Level 8 on demand, temporarily making Nox's group Four Level 6s, two Level 7s and three Level 8s, leaving them fully capable of decimating all of Orario's adventurers.

That however, did not mean they could go into the light without worried or willfully employ that power however they pleased.

After all, the prowess of Nox's group and the nature of their falna all came from his various sacrilegious actions and there was a very significant risk of them incurring the wrath of a god or gods should the groups foundation become known.

As such, keeping low key was necessary but Nox was getting incredibly tired of it as he prevented him from achieving the heights he wished to reach.

Gods were restrained from acting but so long as Ouranos gave his permission, limited uses of their Arcanum, their divine power were permitted and Nox had certain sinned enough for such an exception to be made.

Even if he worked out a deal with Ouranos however, there was still a good chance that a particularly outraged god would simply take the punishment of being sent back to heaven forever and use theri Arcanum to end him and his group.

What they required, was legitimacy, a god to sponsor the group, legitimizing their falnas while not interfering their activities and who had no obligations to other groups like their own familias which could create conflicts of interest.

Nox already had the perfect individual in mind, all he had to do, was going through some revelations and persuasions with said individual.

Dumping all of this on them instantly, was a poor idea though so the first order of business, was to acquire the means to more efficiently operate covertly and Nox already had a plan that though morally questionable, ought to to solve that issue.

Before he could put any of those ideas to work, or even get cracking on his own personal projects like the Unlife Project, Nox decided to be more forthcoming about his machinations with his girls. Though he didn't plan on telling them everything.

They had been getting on his case recently and while they were good intentioned and wanted to help him, there were various moral concerns that he preferred not to burden them with since they were all "good people".

As such, Nox decided to keep some of the darker parts of his business to himself and while they were definitely smart enough to know he wasn't sharing it all, they were also smart enough to realize they were probably better off not pushing to know even more.

"Alright girls. I'm now going to star explaining my plans for the foreseeable future but, if you have any questions for me before I get to it, I welcome them. This gathering's purpose was not just to strengthen you, but also to give clarity so . . . Ask away."

And so, the discussions began.
