Hunt For Evilus XIX

"Let's move quicker, I'll head up the rear, my partner will clear the way." Ais declared while arranging herself into position with Aisha before upping the pace.

Asfi frowned but as the two were the most powerful there and taking the two riskiest positions, she didn't really think the suggestion merited a complaint and so the whole group began moving faster. Meanwhile, their arrival had already been noted by their enemies.

"This is why I told you to clean up the overflow of monsters Revis! Now we've drawn unnecessary attention to ourselves." Olivas blamed his silent companion as he watched the intruders' progress through a magic item.

"There is no issue, we will deal with them." Revis responded.

"That is not the point!" Olivas exclaimed.

"We should not have let this place be discovered in the first place, which only happened because you were too lazy to take of the monsters like I told you to." He claimed.

"I don't take orders from you and like I said, we only have to take care of the ones that came. If you were so concerned about the monster overflow you could have dealt with it yourself." Revis coldly yet also lazily replied.

"Some as to stay and protect the seed as per our lady's wish and how can I trust you to with that task after your last failure!" Olivas countered.

"You speak as if you were not there when it was stolen. In fact, seeing that this Nox Lyros who you claim stole the seed waited for me to pull away, you can said he considered me more competent that you when it came to protecting his prize from being stolen." Revis's reply cut through flesh and bone.

Olivas did not really have a comeback for that so he just huffed and turned his attention back to the screen which Revis eyed for the first, immediately noticing something important.

"The girl heading the rear, she's the one I fought last time." Revis spoke.

"The sword princess! Nox Lyros is close with her, she may prove useful as leverage to get to him. Can you take her?" Olivas immediately thought out a use for the surprising intruder.

"Isolate her from the others, I'll take care of it. Don't underestimate the one in the front though, she smells dangerous." Revis warned as she got up.

"Ha! With our lady's blessing how could they defeat me!?" Seeing Olivas was fully back onto his zealot ravis, Revis just ignored him and moved the intercept the intruders.

Olivas huffed again at she who he considered a "blessed unbeliever" but still prepared to split the enemy party up as per their plan. Everything had to go as planned for the success of their lady's wish.

Said intruders proceeded carefully yet rather quickly through the green corridors in a single file until they reached a rather large chamber with multiple paths.

"Something's wrong." Aisha jacked up killing instincs warned her that battle was coming and while her blood was already boiling with barely contained bloodthirst, she still did not forget to send out a warning.

The Hermes familia took up a circular formation while trusting the two extra's to take care of themselves but that played exactly into their enemies' plan as mass vines shot up from the ground.

Aisha and the Hermes children were forced into a tunnel whereas the chamber became sealed with only Ais left inside.

WIth her battle instincts flaring too, she turned into one direction rather suddenly and from it, an opening in the green wall open, letting a familiar red haired figure pass through.

"Shall we finish what we started last time?" Revis said in her monotone voice but Ais' only response was to raise her sword as spirit wind flowed all around her in preparation for the battle to come.

On the other hand, inside the tunnel, another situation was occuring.

"Looks like we fell into the enemy's trap." Asfi gravely declared as she eyed the only way forward for them.

"They seem to have wanted the Sword Princess alone for some reason." Falgar commented but Asfi cut him off.

"Worry about ourselves first. The Sword Princess can take care of herself." She said before looking towards Aisha who should be just ahead of them only to find her gone with clear traces that she headed off into that path ahead, all by herself.

Having reached her limit by the enemy provocation, Aisha was like an unleashed beast, the best she could do was point her bloodlust towards the target she sensed in the distance, almost as if inviting her. The amazoness no longer had the luxury to worry about her temporary comrades.

"Where's that veiled amazoness?" Falgar suddenly questioned.

"Gone ahead, probably berserk due to her mysterious ability. She most likely did it so she did not turn on us involuntarily." Asfi responded and lulune whimpered as she trembled in fright remembering the scary feeling Aisha emitted with her "blood haze".

While they had this short conversation though, Aisha had already reached the core of the pantry where a goat skull masked Olivas awaited her by a crystal pillar, the source of nourishment for the monsters and currently embedded with a Jewel Fetus that was feeding on it.

"Foolish adventurer! Yo-" Olivas was about to start what no doubt would have been a cliche villain speech but he was cutoff.

Aisha was already within striking distance within the blink of an eye and swinging her huge curved bladed covered in red energy with massive strength. Talking was not even an option for the current her.
