Ron summoned his sword, and then charged towards the giant, he leaped forward with so much energy and was now in the air, he made his shield appear and flew forward but he found himself getting punched like a bug, he was thrown into the ground and ended up forming a crater at the break of his fall. Thank goodness he wasn't a full human most of the time.
THE giant roared to show its might then leaped forward to crush him with its foot.
Ron put his shied forward. The giant was about to crush him if a wall of soil didn't rise to protect him from the giant's wrath.
Ron turned and he saw Ellen, both her hands were up and it was clear she was the one doing this. She then made the ground open like she had done the first time they met and then made it swallow the giant-- she then turned the ground to rock once it was gone.
He then sensed something heading their direction but from above- he rushed to look up-it was a ball of energy heading from the sky, he turned to Ellen and ran to catch up to her but the attack crashed just in between them and it sent both flying opposite directions and Ellen was knocked out.
Ron stood up, and the first thing he looked at was a man in the sky, he was flying with a golden cape attached to his back. He was like superman but in green. His eyes were the only thing glowing, he couldn't see his face, but his aura just felt like they had crossed paths before.
Who are you?! Ron asked the flying figure
Your end," the figure spoke but in two different voices. Then it shot out a beam of green energy from its hand. Ron produced his sword and it deflected the beam and it destroyed the vegetation that was close by. He then imagined flying and the air carried him and he was now airborne. He flew towards the man with his sword and the man materialized his green energy into a spear and they both collided with a huge deal of force. They pushed back after the collision and then pushed forwards -- their weapons crossed one more time. Both weapons sparked in impact
Another version of the man appeared from behind and hit Ron with a blast of energy. It only pushed him a bit back, enough to earn his attention. He glanced to see who had shot that and both the men were suddenly gone.
The clouds then reformed into a face and said in a loud voice and deep voice, "Ron, welcome to our territory, for your mother we shall follow the old ways, giant versus god and prize will be her freedom and if you lose we get the ring and your service,"
"I accept," he answered with confidence,
"Good, then you start now…" just after saying that. A giant bird cut through the clouds and grabbed him using its talons. Ron struggled to move because of its tight grip, but he was able to impale his sword into one of the creature's talons and it let him go.
He then flew towards it, but an arrow was fired through its neck and it vanished instantly. He looked down. And Ellen was standing holding her bow pointing exactly where the monster had been, she looked very beat up but she was still standing.
Instead of landing, he ended up falling from the sky and crashing horribly on the ground surface, she quickly ran to help him. And she helped him up.
"I think I have just put us in shit--"
"Then we have to fight like gods," she picked up the sword, which was heavy in her hands, and placed it into his palm. She smiled at him and then took on the form of Artemis. With silver hair and a glowing armor of silver ad white, it's only her eyes that differed. One was red the other was silver.
Ron stood up and then summoned his godly power.
A cold wind blew over the entire Jotunheim and gold-colored lightning couldn't stop striking in the dark sky. A cry sounded from the outskirts and it was able to reach Loki in the tower he was in, he sensed the All-father's presence more than anyone else.
He gave chuckled softly before the door opened and the faceless man who Ron had just encountered walked in, "The boy's strong, sir," the man said,
"Perfect," Loki smiled. "Get the champions ready. And gather the crowd to witness the greatest battle of all time,"
The man then bowed and disappeared into a black-green cloud.
Loki remained looking at the flickering sky, "After all these years of imprisonment I will finally be free and we will rule the realms All-father, Just watch me."
Ron and Ellen finally arrived at the giant capital and two giants were already waiting for them at the entrance. Both were in armor and Ron could tell that these were different from the one before, they were smarter and more organized,
One of them spoke, "Ron Carter, the god of magic, wisdom, death, war, and poetry along with Ellen the goddess of the moon and hunting. We welcome you to Jotunheim, the king Loki Utgard is happy to know you're here. And you may please follow us to the arena WHERE you will battle our champions."
Ron stepped forward, his hair was very messy, with green in it and he had scratches around his entire body and on his face. E look like he had run his face through a desert The clothes he was wearing were also torn from the monsters that they have fought just to get here,
"Where is my mother?" he asked and pointed the tip of his sword at one of the giants, to them it looked like a puny human trying to a pick a fight with them. But to Ron, he had only his mom's memories scrolling through his mind and he was determined to fight even though it meant fighting for days nonstop.
"Your mother is--"
"Your mother is okay, Ron Carter," they were interrupted by another giant that looked like an old man with a beard so long it almost touched the ground, he was holding a wooden staff that Ron thought looked more like a tree. It had fangs and claws with a hideous face like all the other giants.
It walked and stopped in between the previous two Ron was talking to and then looked down to see him.
Ron glared at it still keeping the grip on the hilt strong, but deep inside he could feel how evil this specific giant is. The entire reeked evil but this was intense.
And why should I believe you?" he asked, "You are a giant."
"A giant of my word, Ron," it smiled then laughed maniacally. "Don't you have memories of me yet, Odin? I guess not,"
SIGH!
Ron dropped down his sword the sword and it vanished along with his god mode. The same happened with Ellen as she walked to him and whispered, "Why did you do that?"
"We are no match for him, let's just get to the Arena and fight," he answered keeping his eyes on the now three giants standing in front of them, smiling wickedly like they knew that he didn't stand a chance against them.
