Let Her Be

-

Let her dance in the sunlight's glow,

Embrace a world she's yet to know.

Not every lesson can be taught by you,

As she blossoms, let her boundaries accrue.

-

No longer a child, she's grown so fair,

Beyond the image you once held with care.

Independent strides, maturity sown,

A woman now, with strength of her own.

-

You claim love, more than yourself,

Yet seldom at home, lost in the wealth.

She comprehends the situation's grace,

Work binds, but distance takes its place.

-

Cease dictating the script of her days,

Release the reins, alter your gaze.

Her path is hers, unique and true,

She foresees what the future may strew.

-

Efforts made, trying to appease,

Yet blind to her struggles and unease.

Your pride, a dense fog she can't pierce,

Comparing eras, a life discourse.

-

Let her emerge from the shadows cast,

Unshackle her from the bonds of the past.

Darkness only prevails where you've confined,

She's finding her way, within her mind.
