-
Can't look into your eyes with a steady stare,
Distant light, darkness in the air.
Dimmed visuals, a lively night subdued,
Bewildered by the golden ice, feelings misconstrued.
-
Can't look into your eyes, veiled and unknown,
Reading subtle lies, in thoughts overthrown.
Situations of the unwritten book,
Lost in pages, a hidden nook.
-
Can't look into your eyes; oh, those hypnotic eyes,
Susceptible to what's deemed right, the truth that lies.
Tomorrow's promises are still in disguise,
In the dance of uncertainty, where hope ties.
Can't look into your eyes, a stance so unsteady,
Peripheral truths in life's twisting alley.
A maze of love and hope that enlightens,
Yet terrifying calls the darkness heightens.
-
Can't look straight into your eyes; oh, window to the soul,
A mirror reflecting truths, an unyielding toll.
In the silence that never lies,
Eyes, witnesses to life's unpredictable ties.
