Beginning after the end

It was a hot summer afternoon when Hussain entered the house with a bang; he looked all excited and thrilled.


"Amma!" He yelled as soon as he entered. He was breathing heavily and sweating from all his body; it looked like he had been running.


"What happened?" A woman in her late thirties or early forties came out running from one of the rooms. She looked worried.


"What happened" She asked again as she got closer to Hussain.


"Look! What I have brought." He waved an envelope in front of her.


"Key to our bright future." He laughed in excitement "We are going to live Amma. This Armageddon-warmageddon is nothing." He laughed even more. His eyes gleamed with joy. To his mother it looked like he had lost it.
