Beginning after the end

Lisa gave him an angry look and was about to smack him when he briskly walked away with a laughter on his face.


Lisa saw his back until he vanished, closed the door, and came back in.


Since, they were childhood friends, they would turn to kids whenever they met.


Lisa went straight to bathroom for a shower; she had very little time and a lot to do. William was not kidding when he said that he will not wait anymore; she knew he would make a fuss like a little annoying child and she did not want that.


Lisa knew William since childhood. They were neighbors back in Chicago, attended same junior, middle, and high schools. Lisa was a nerd back in the day, top of her class while William was more of an extrovert and adventurous type with just good enough grades.


An unusual pair. She did not know how and when this happened but as far as she remembers, she always had a huge crush on him.
