Chapter 12

The Destroyer At War

My veins grow yellow, Abdima's glow red. We look at each other for one more second before we attack. I block his fire attacks as I run, I throw a punch at him, he blocks. I open my wings as I pass him, I turn and throw ice at him with my hands. He flips in the air to end up behind me, I turn we end face to face "I like eye contact" Abdima smiles "I know you do" I shrug my shoulders. He opens his ruby red wings, I open my gold wings, we fly up, he throws punches, I block without breaking eye contact, I find an opening while I'm calming blocking, I kick him in the chest he flies back, stops himself from moving back to far. He starts throwing fire balls, I block, I couldn't get close enough to attract him, I flip over him. Abdima turns to punch me, I grab his hand and knee him in the stomach. He finds his opening and elbows me in the nose, I fly back and stop myself before I hit the ground. Abdima starts laughing "you are more exciting in the air" I smile "you look better on the ground" I strike, he blocks my kick, I grab his shoulder and knee him in the stomach, he pushes me close and whisper "a little tacky to keep hitting in the same location" I reply "tacky or smart" I grab his waist and flipped him over me, he flips across. We are distanced "don't worry you will have the most beautiful diamond an angel can imagine" I grin "you are very cocky". We fly back to the ground.

I take out my blade, it turns into ice, you can see the frost, he takes out his blade and it turns into flames, you can see the heat arising. We run at each other with full force, our swords and eyes meet. I try to kick his knees as we both block each other's knife attack, he flips over, I turn, as he strikes. I swing my knife to block, he throws a fire ball while I block, I fly and hit the rocks. I ignore the pain as I use my blade to help me stand and attack quickly to avoid him realizing I'm hurt. He moves, I run pass him, before I could turn, he kicked me in the side, I ground my feet to the ground as I turn and punch him in the face. He gets pushed back a little, I back up to gain space. We both breathe hard, demons gather up watching intensely, I lift the rocks from the ground with my wind power and throw them at him. He burns some, some hit him, he telepathically brings down the stalactites above us, I block them and move some with wind. A stalactite cuts from my arm to my hand, I endure the pain as I turn it into power. Abdima smiles, I grab one hand as I throw an immense wind his way, I lift my other hand and throw snow. At the same moment he lifts his hand and throws steam with one hand and with the other lava. We both put our best forward, the elements meet, I push my powers forward closer to him, I almost reach him, then I see his eyes light red. I was to surprise to not know he wasn't using his full power, before I could activate mine, I feel the heat of lava and steam. I get on the floor roll my body into a ball and activate my shield with my last strength. He looks at the flames overtake Ausra, he is worried he went too far, everyone stares at the flames with intensity.

Part Two

Ausra's Defeat

The flames disappear there's nothing but smoke, Abdima flames his hand and walks in the smoke. "Ausra" he looks at me I'm on the floor "I'm here" he picks me up in his arms and smile "thought I was a widower" he laughs. My eyes widened "our loveless marriage" he smiles "I love you, you are the one who fell in love with Fenox who loves Ellie, I don't think you can judge me. Besides the king of the underworld marrying the daughter of arc angel Michael and Cybele, now why would I give up that opportunity". I shake my head on the thought of marrying the man my dad once defeated, there's definitely irony to that. He lays me down "rest and clean up the battle might be over but the war continues". I ask for his help as I am weak from the battle, he makes me a bubble bath and undresses me, he carries me to the bath and lays me down, he undressed and gets in with me. Abdima grabs a sponge and starts cleaning the bruises "can't heal yourself?" I stay quiet as he cleans my bruises and think of the time when Fenox cleaned me, the difference was very significant, I allow myself to miss him just for a minute before I sink back into reality. "You are so beautiful, your wings serve you right" I look at Abdima I don't think he knows but I'm starting to see humanity rubbed off on him. I get closer to Abdima and lay on him, he holds me, starts to play with my curse long curls "it's all going to be ok Ausra". I look into his deep green eyes, we get up and he dries me, I dry him we shake our wing and get dressed for bed. We lay down, he glances at me one more time and reaches for a ring in his dresser, a bat shaped gold ring with diamonds. "While you were human, Batman was your favorite superhero, I know you love Fenox and he is your Batman, I thought this ring would mean a lot to you". I look at him "thank you, it does, you are supposed to be evil but you are pretty sweet". He puts the ring on my finger "being human has thought me the value of lost love, you remind me love comes with sacrifice, to see the one you love happy should leave you at peace, that's why you are at peace because you know he is happy". I smile "he was already peaceful before I met him, the energy he brings is strong and stable" we hold hands as we fall asleep. Abdima announces "tomorrow is a big day, when two arc angels marry a new universe appears" I laugh "I guess we won't have to spend eternity together" we fall asleep.

Wedding bells are ringing and demons gather up. I get ready, I put on the dress I was given, colors white, red, and gold, I read the note left by the dress "wouldn't want you to not match the wings" I laugh. I put the dress on, my gold accessories as well as my gold shoes. I tie the front of my hair back with a gold clip, the back is loose and my brown curse curls are out, down my back. I put on my gold sprinkled veil, I look at myself one more time before I get ready for marriage. "Are you ready?" Meizu says, "yes" I exhale, Meizu continues "are you sure about this Ausra" I pick my head up "yes". Meizu gives me his hand "you look beautiful" I look at him "thank you". We collide arms together, we walk into a decorated cave, the song starts to play, he plays -the reason by Hoobastank. As I walk with my veil over my face, I think about my dreams, they shatter, "it was supposed to be Fenox and I" I think to myself. I picture myself lying on his chest one more time, the arguments, him caring and making me smile, the last kiss. I stop my tears from coming down take a deep breath and proceed. I look at my soon to be husband, hair slick back 5'11, green eyes, black suit, red shirt and gold accessories. The quietest wedding happens today. "Does anyone object to this marriage?" Everyone puts their head down as if not to make eye contact. "Do you Ausra take this man as your lawful wedded husband" I look at his eyes "I do" he smiles "Do you Abdima take this woman as your lawful wedded wife" he looks at me "I do". The last moment "you may know kiss the bride" as our lips met, a new galaxy was created, new planets and stars where born as the kiss was completed. The new galaxy was made and everything remained silently untouched. Thunder spread through the underworld as a new dimension was created. The Creator sensed the new creation, it thunders in paradise, the Creator's eyes open, Michael looks at the Creator "how could this be?" The Creator exhales "when an evil arc angel marries a descendent of earth, a new dimension is created". Michael looks at the Creator "my daughter, Ausra" the Creator looks at Michael "I'm afraid only the both of them can run this dimension this is the first creation where they are two arc angels". Michael tries to keep calm, the Creator speaks "this is not a bad thing Michael, Ausra will have the upper hand, she is now a Creator. They have a time limit to get to the new dimension, let's see how it plays out, her powers our now unstoppable". Abdima and I levitate in the air our eyes glow, he comes back down. Electricity, wind, fire, and water surround me in a circle. Everyone stares in fear, I come back down to the ground and absorb all elements. My eyes glow yellow and my tiger's eyes glow yellow as well, Fenox looks at my tiger with curiosity as it sits watching Ellie. My tiger and I speak telepathically "I see you soon" Cayden spoke to me as I pet him "protect them into I get back" I replied, we both zone back in and return into our journeys. "Ausra" I hear Abdima call as I stand in front of him and we start the reception. We dance to - thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran, "Ausra what now" Abdima looked at me "now you prove yourself" I responded, his eyes widened "how?" I reply, "time will prevail". He nodded and stood next to me as a king should.
