In and out

Intervar raised his eyes and glared at the man, who gazed down disapprovingly.

"This isn't required; he may simply accompany me." As he looked at his grandson, his grandfather's voice was dripping with disdain.

The guards nodded and promptly uncuffed him, escorting him to the front door, followed by his grandfather.

He then made a portal and took them to his mansion, causing Intervar's face to look in disgust, far too comfortable with the rough lifestyle he had been living.

"I can't believe you've done this." His grandfather frowned and shook his head.

"I can't believe you've decided to come back, Vesper." He bit back, irritated by the passive aggressive remarks.

"I only agreed to bail you out because Joyce had phoned. Should I also inquire as to why you're avoiding the government?"

Intervar rolled his eyes as they went to sit in the living room, everything in it as tacky as the next.
