Almost over

Intervar didn't wait for his grandfather to respond; instead, he went to his room and shut the door behind him.

He got into position to do some repetitive exercise so he could think more easily. He wasn't sure what to think about the problem.

Now that he was back in his life, he figured his attention would be on his grandfather.

His grandfather seemed as he always had been, he'd cut his nose off just to spite his own face, except it works and Intervar does get wounded.

Intervar wasn't stupid; he knew he had strayed from the path originally made for him, but... but nothing.

Like the sun setting as the moon rises, it was just a fact that he would always be considered an outsider.

He understood he wanted him to continue the family name and care about politics as they always have.
