Confession

Mika followed Yuwai in the hallway; the bunny turned to the right. As Mika turned to the right, she saw a spacious room with stuffed animals on the bed and lime green bedding.

Mika also saw a bedside table, a table at the center with a lime green rug, a dresser next to a desk, a pet bed, and a pet food area next to a pink litter box.

Mika entered the room and looked around, "Is this Koda's room?" she asked herself. Mika looked at Koji's desk and noticed there was a bulletin board with pictures on it above it.

Mika walked towards Koji's desk and looked at the pictures. One picture Mika saw was a young Koji and his mother at a beach; she smiled a bit, "That's adorable..." she said. Yuwai looked at Mika; he hopped towards her and jumped on Koji's desk chair.

Yuwai pressed his face on Mika's hand, making her look at him. Mika smiled as she crouched to Yuwai's level, "Something wrong, little guy?" she asked in a cute tone.

Yuwai hopped off Koji's chair and hopped towards the wall next to the bedside table. As Mika looked at Yuwai's direction, she noticed the window he was next to was open.

Mika stood up and walked towards the open window, "Was this open before or after the internship?" she asked herself. Yuwai hopped on Koji's bed and hopped on the window seal. Yuwai grabbed Mika's right sleeve with his mouth and pulled on it.

Mika turned to Yuwai, "You really enjoy pulling on my-" she looked up and saw Koji on the roof, surprising her, "Now I see why..." she said lowly; she noticed he was sad. Mika frowned a bit, *What's he doing up there?* she thought, *And why is he upset?*

Mika tried summoning her wings, but she realized that the back of her shirt had no holes, *Looks like I got to find another way to get up there.* she thought as she looked around. Mika spotted some rope next to her; she nodded, *I'm guessing that's how he got on the roof.* she thought.

Mika gently picked Yuwai up and placed him on the ground, "I'll be back, little guy." she whispered. Mika turned to the window and stretched her arms, "Let's get to it." she said; she got on the window seal and grabbed the rope.

When Mika was outside and was steady on the rope, she looked up and started climbing up it. When Mika reached the roof, she stood up and walked towards Koji.

But Mika stopped, leaving a gap between them; she waved, "Hey Koda." she said. Koji jumped a bit; when he turned to Mika, he calmed down and waved back, "Is it alright if I sit next to you?" she asked.

Koji nodded, making Mika smile a bit; she walked towards him and sat next to him. Mika turned to Koji for a bit; she turned back to the city, "I'm guessing that something's on your mind." she said. Koji nodded, "Do you... want to talk about it?" Mika asked.

Koji sighed a bit and nodded, "Alright... what's on your mind?" Mika asked. Koji looked at his lap, "Lately... I've been doubting myself on my abilities and being a hero." he said; Mika turned to him, "How come?" she asked.

Koji clenched on his fists, "I couldn't do a lot during the sports fest." he said, "I broke our promise, I..." Koji calmed down and sighed, "I feel like I'm out of everyone's league... including you." he continued.

Mika shook her head, "That's not true." she said, making Koji turn to her, "You have great potential like everyone else on becoming a hero."

Koji looked away from Mika, making her sigh a bit and look forward, *There's got to be something I can do to cheer him up.* she thought. Mika snapped her fingers, "Oh I know!" she said, making Koji turn to her.

Mika turned to Koji, "How about we do that one game where I say something good about you and you say something good about me." she continued, "I'll start it for us."

Mika looked forward, "You're a strong guy." she said. Koji blushed a bit and looked forward; he sighed, "You're... fast." he said. Mika was relieved her idea was working on the inside, "You can make others happy." she said. Koji's blush grew, "Your Quirk is powerful." he said.

Mika smiled a bit, "Your Quirk helps others." she said. Koji turned to Mika for a bit; he looked back at the city and closed his eyes, "You're really smart." he said.

Mika had a warm smile, "You'll make a great hero." she said. Koji opened his eyes and turned to Mika, "I love you." he said, making her eyes widen. Mika turned to Koji, "Wha-" he pressed his mouth on her lips, making her freeze up; she tried processing everything that was happening.

When Mika realized it was a kiss, she slowly closed her eyes and stayed still. When they separated and looked at each other, they quickly looked away with blushed faces and their hearts racing.

Koji looked at Mika, "Y-You... like me?" he asked. Mika rubbed her arm and nodded, "Y-Yeah... I have for a while." she said. Koji looked away from Mika with tears pricking his eyes, "I-I'm sorry..." he said lowly.

Mika was surprised and turned to Koji, "I-It's okay... you don't need to apologize." she said. Koji wiped his tears away and shook his head, "I-I wanted to tell you when you were in the infirmary." he said, "But t-the others wanted to see you too, a-and..."

Koji looked at his lap, "I thought you would hate me if I felt this way and not accept me." he continued. Mika felt hurt, "I wouldn't hate you." she said, making Koji turn to her, "No one would hate you for those kinds of feelings."

Mika pointed to herself, "And I couldn't see anyone, including me, rejecting you." she continued, "You're a strong, sweet, and cute guy." Koji blushed a lot, "I wanted to tell you how I felt about you too, but..." Mika said.

Mika frowned a bit and looked away, "I feared you'd reject me if you didn't feel the same way, and you'd stop hanging out with me." she continued. Koji was shocked, "I-I wouldn't reject you!" he shouted, making Mika turn to him in shock.

Koji pointed to himself, "If I didn't have those feelings for you, I'd still hang out with you, but I have them." he said. Koji blushed a lot and rubbed the back of his neck, "Y-You're kind... smart... a-and beautiful." he continued. Mika blushed a lot, and they sat there in awkward silence.

When Mika realized something, she started giggling; soon after, it turned into laughter. Koji looked at Mika confused, "W-What's so funny?" he asked.

Mika tried calming down and turned to Koji, "Seems like we both feared rejection." she said, "But one of us could have told the other how they felt and be fine with it."

Koji didn't think about it and started giggling, "We have thought of that, didn't we?" he said; they started laughing together. When the laughing subsided, Koji turned to Mika, "S-So, does this... make us...?" he asked nervously.

Mika turned to Koji and smiled a bit, "If you want to." she said; he quickly nodded, "I-I do!" he shouted. Koji calmed down and looked at Mika, "I-I would like to know you more, a-and be close to you... if y-you want to." he continued.

Mika smiled, "I'd like that." she said; they were about to kiss again, but they heard a door open and quickly separated. Tsunoji walked to where they were at on the yard, "Try not to stay up late you two!" she said smiling, "You still have your internship."

They nodded as Tsunoji entered the house; they sighed in relief. Mika scooted closer to Koji and laid her head on his arm, "You know... I don't think I ever saw you this confident about saying stuff like that." she said as she placed her hand on top of his.

Koji held Mika's hand in his, "You bring out my confidence... and my voice." he said. Mika chuckled a bit, "Is that so, Koda?" she asked. Koji blushed a bit, "Koji." he said, making Mika look at him, "I-I would like you... to call me Koji."

Mika stared at Koji in a bit of shock and smiled, "Then... I would like it if you called me Mika." she said. Koji nodded and blushed a lot, "U-Um... Mika..." he said lowly, "D-Do you w-want to try that k-kiss again?"

Mika blushed a bit and smiled, "I don't mind, Koji." she said. Mika sat up properly and wrapped her arms around Koji's neck, making him flinch a bit, "It's okay." she said, making relax a little.

Mika pressed her lips against Koji's mouth, and they kissed. After a few seconds fly by, they separated, "That one was better than the sudden one." Mika said.

Koji blushed a bit and looked away, "Sorry..." he said lowly. Mika smiled, "It's fine, they say that practice makes perfect." she said, "But for now, we should head back inside." Koji nodded as they got up and got off the roof.
