Mall Time

After the practical exam, most of the groups passed except for Eijiro, Rikido, Denki, and Mina. "Everyone..." Mina said with a few tears pricking her eyes and hiccups, "I'm looking forward... to hear the stories... about training camp..."

Izuku tried calming them down, "Hold on one sec, maybe there will be a twist from Aizawa-sensei." he said. Hanta placed his hand on Izuku's shoulder, "Don't jinx it, Midoriya." he said.

Denki looked down, "He said whoever failed the exam would skip training camp and live in summer school hell." he said, "We didn't pass the practical exam, so we're doomed."

Denki turned to Izuku and raised two fingers up, "Don't you get it, Midoriya. Or did All Might knock your brains out too." he continued as he poked Izuku's eye, making him scream.

Hanta turned to Denki, "Ease up, Kaminari; I'm not sure if I'll get to go either." he said, "Our team only passed thanks to Mineta while I got knocked out by Midnight. And since we don't know how they're scoring things, I might have flunked."

Denki looked at Hanta, "At least bring us some souvenirs, please." he said. Mika looked at the group and frowned a bit, *I hope that there is a twist on this test.* she thought.

They heard the door open, making them sit at their desks. Mr. Aizawa entered the classroom, "Good morning, students." he said, "I have your results about the practical exam, but there are a few who did not pass."

The four students who did not pass were depressed, "With that..." Mr. Aizawa said with a big grin, "Everyone is going." They were shocked, "What a twist!" they shouted.

Eijiro looked at Mr. Aizawa, "We really get to go to camp?" he asked. Mina smiled with tears pricking her eyes, "Seriously." she said.

Mr. Aizawa nodded, "Everyone passed the written exam." he said, "But Kirishima, Sato, Kaminari, Ashido, and Sero failed the practical exam."

Hanta cringed a bit, "Crap, I knew it." he said; he placed his hand over his face, "It's because Mineta made it to the gate and I did nothing." he continued.

Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "Let me explain, for the practical battles, we left you a way to win otherwise you would never stand a chance." he said, "We observed on how you would each work together and approached the task at hand."

Mashirao looked at Mr. Aizawa, "Didn't you promise that the teachers wouldn't be giving it their all?" he asked. Mr. Aizawa looked at Mashirao, "That was to put you on edge." he said, "Besides, the training camp will focus on your strength."

Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "We weren't going to separate any of you, and those who failed the exam needed it the most." he continued.

Mika was shocked at the new information and raised her hand, "Excuse me, sir." she said, getting Mr. Aizawa's attention, "Correct me if I'm wrong on saying this, but was this perhaps another logical deception... just like the Quirk Apprehension Test?"

Mr. Aizawa had a big grin, "It was." he said. It shocked the ones who failed, "A logical deception!" they shouted. As they were cheering, Tenya was shaking, "He tricked us all..." he said, "I should've expected that..."

Tenya got out of his seat and raised his hand, making a few of them turn to him, "This is the second time you've lied to us!" he shouted, "Aren't you afraid that we'll lose faith in you!?"

Ochaco looked at Tenya with a laid back smile, "A little blunt there, Iida." she said; Mika nodded, "No kidding." she said lowly. Mr. Aizawa turned to Tenya, "That's a good point, I'll consider it." he said, "But I wasn't lying about everything."

Mr. Aizawa turned to those who failed, "Failure is failure." he continued, "We've prepared extra lessons for the five of you."

The five who failed looked down in the dumps, "Frankly, they'll be much worse than what you face in summer school." Mr. Aizawa said. Mika felt bad for them, but she was relieved that they still get to go.

After class, Mika gathered her belongings; she was about to head out until she heard a voice, "Hey Mika!" she turned towards the voice and saw Mina walking towards her. Mika smiled a bit, "Hey Mina, what's up?" she asked.

Mina smiled, "Do you have any plans for tomorrow?" she asked. Mika had her hand on her chin, "Well... other than packing my things for training camp, I have a light schedule." she said.

Mina smiled, "Awesome! Some of us are gonna go to the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall and buy some stuff for training camp." she said.

Mika nodded, "Is that so?" she said, "I don't know if I'll be there, but I'll try." Mina nodded, "Sweet! If you're gonna be there, we'll see you there." she said; Mika nodded and left the classroom.

After Mika and Koji were a suitable distance away from the school, they were holding hands. Mika was in deep thought, "Something on your mind?" Koji asked.

Mika turned to Koji and nodded, "Mina told me that the others were going to the mall and buy some stuff for the camping trip." she said, "I'm just thinking if I should go or not." Koji nodded, "Do you plan on going to the mall?" he asked.

Mika had her hand on her chin, "Maybe... I could use some new clothes." she said, "I could also use some supplies like bug spray for the trip too."

Mika turned to Koji, "What about you." she continued, "Do you plan on going?" Koji looked forward, "If you plan on going, I might..." he said. Mika smiled a bit, "It would be nice if you came along too, Koji." she said.

Koji blushed a bit, "W-Well... if you plan on going, let me know and I could tag along." he said. Mika nodded, "Sure, I'll let you know." she said; they smiled and continued walking.

After Mika finished packing most of her belongings, she texted Koji that she was going to the mall; she got in her casual clothes and sat on the couch. Mika had her hand on her chin, *What stuff is the most important thing to bring to camp?* she thought.

Yuma sat in the armchair and looked at Mika, "*Do you plan on hanging out with your friends?*" she signed. Mika nodded, "Since I finished packing my stuff for the camping trip, I plan on heading to the mall to buy some things." she said.

Yuma grinned a bit, "*Are you sure that it's for the supplies?*" she signed, "*Or do you plan on spending more time with your boyfriend?*"

Mika blushed a bit and looked away, "I-I'm telling you it's supplies for the trip." she said. Yuma giggled a bit, "*Either way, you two have fun.*" she signed. Mika tried getting rid of her blush and got up, "Okay..." she said as she left the apartment.

When they arrived at the mall, they entered and looked around. Mina noticed them and smiled, "Mika! Koda!" she shouted, "You two made it!" Mika nodded as they walked towards Mina, "I finished packing my stuff, so I decided that I want to go to the mall." she said.

Mika turned to Koji, "Koda wanted to come along too." she continued, "He said he needed some supplies for camp." Koji nodded to Mika's sentence. Mina had a big grin, "Are you sure that's what it's about and the two of you aren't on a date?" she asked in a teasing tone.

Mika sighed in disbelief, *Not this again...* she thought. "Don't tease them like that." Mika looked behind Mina and saw Momo, "Those two aren't even together like that. You shouldn't say stuff like that."

Mina looked back at Momo, "Aw, come on! Don't you think the two of them would make a cute couple." she said. Mika placed her hand over her face, "I thought we were here for shopping, not talking about relationships." she said.

Momo nodded, "You're correct, the others are already doing their shopping." she said. Mika got her hand off her face and looked at them, "Then let's do some shopping." she said. Mika turned to Koji, "Come on, Koda." she continued; he nodded as they walked towards a different part in the mall.

They got a few supplies from one shop and continued looking around. Mika sighed and placed her hands behind her neck, "Some of the girls' clothes stores have nothing meant for camping." she said, "What gives..."

Koji spotted something and tapped Mika's shoulder, making her turn to him. Koji pointed to a store with clothes suited for camping. Mika smiled, "Good find, hon." she said; Koji looked at her in shock. Mika realized what she said, making her face red.

Mika quickly covered her mouth and looked away, "S-Sorry... slip of the tongue..." she said lowly; Koji blushed a lot and looked down. Koji looked at Mika and tapped her shoulder, making her turn to him, "*I-I don't mind... d-dear...*" he signed.

Mika was surprised and giggled a bit, "If pet names are something you're uncomfortable with, I don't mind if you just call me by my name." she said. Koji smiled a bit and nodded as they headed to the store.

Mika tried some clothes on while Koji looked at some shoes. The outfit Mika wore was a purple tank top with horizontal white stripes and blue jean shorts.

Mika noticed Koji was looking at her; she turned to him, "What do you think?" she asked. Koji smiled, "*I don't mind what you wear.*" he signed. Koji blushed a bit and looked down, "*You look great in any kind of clothing.*" he signed.

Mika blushed a bit and smiled, "That's so sweet." she said. Mika looked at the mirror, "I might buy this." she continued; Koji nodded as they looked at other stuff.

After they finished their shopping, they looked around some more. However, they stopped when they saw Momo out of breath.

They caught up to Momo, "What's wrong, Momo?" Mika asked with worry. Momo looked at them, "It's Midoriya." she said, "Something bad has happened." Mika's eyes widened, "What! Is he okay?" she said.

Momo nodded, "He's fine." she said, "The cops are in the mall and plan on shutting it down for now." Mika nodded, "As long as my friend is alright, then it's fine." she said; Momo nodded as they headed to the exit.

As they got out of the mall, they heard a voice, "Mika!" they turned to their right side and saw Saburo; Mika was shocked, "Dad." she said.

Saburo hugged Mika for a bit; he let go of her and looked at her, "Are you okay, sweetheart?" he asked. Mika nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." she said. Saburo sighed in relief, "Thank goodness." he said, "I thought it would be like the USJ incident all over again."

Mika looked at Saburo confused, "What?" she asked. Saburo looked at Mika, "Apparently, the leader of the League of Villains was at the mall holding Midoriya as a hostage." he said; she was worried, "Oh... I see." she said.

Saburo nodded and looked at the others, "How about I escort you three out of this mess." he said. Momo nodded, "I'm fine with it." she said; Koji nodded in agreement.

Mika slowly nodded, "Yeah..." she said; Saburo nodded, "Well then, please follow me." he said. They nodded and left the mall with Saburo.
