Fun at the Pool

A few days after the mall incident, everyone was back in class; Mika talked with the other girls about their summer trip. Ochaco was surprised, "Wait, we aren't supposed to take long trips over summer vacation?" she asked.

Kyoka nodded, "Apparently, it's what the school said." she said. Momo got sad, "How unfortunate, I was going to spend some time with my parents touring Venice." she said. Some were surprised, "Aw man! I bought a lot of swimsuits and I can't have any fun." Mina pouted.

Mika shook her head, "Not necessarily." she said, making the other girls look at her, "It may be true that we can't spend time with our families on long breaks, but we could still have some fun."

Tsuyu had her finger on her chin, "What do you have in mind, ribbit?" she asked. Mika smiled, "Well... I thought we could use the school's pool area for summer vacation." she said.

They had big smiles, "That's a great idea." Tsuyu said, "I bet we can talk to the teachers into letting us use it if we ask them nicely." Ochaco nodded, "Plus, it's free for use so we'll save money." she said, "You're so smart, Mika."

Mika blushed a bit and rubbed the back of her neck, "Heh, thanks..." she said. Mina smiled, "That's way better than staying in my room." she said. Momo got out of her seat, "Leave this to me! I'll start a proposal for it right away." she said; the other girls nodded and were excited.

(Time Skip)

After Momo got the teacher's acceptance, the girls went outside in the school's swimsuits. They were a one-piece swimsuit with a blue base, white on the sides and bits of red lined with them. The swimsuit covered the chest area and parts of the thigh.

Mika looked at the swimsuit with the water's reflection, "It's a little tighter than I thought, but that's okay..." she said to herself. Momo clapped her hands, making them look at her, "Everyone, let's stretch a bit before we swim." she said. They nodded as they started doing some stretches.

"I see you girls came to swim too." Mika looked at the entrance and saw Tenya in the school's swimming trunks with goggles and a yellow swim cap. Momo looked at Tenya while stretching, "Oh! I didn't know you were using the swimming pool too, Iida." she said.

Tenya nodded, "Midoriya sent us a message about doing some endurance training." he said. Some guys entered the pool area, *The guys got a message about endurance training.* Mika thought, *Crap, then that means...*

When Mika looked at the entrance, she saw Koji enter the area wearing the school's swimming trunks. Mika's face was red; she glanced at the ground, *Damn it, why does this feel like a blessing and a curse?* she thought.

"Are you alright, Mika?" Mika looked up and saw Momo with concern; she quickly nodded, "Y-Yeah, I'm fine." she said. Mika tried getting rid of her blush, "I-I'm just... not used to seeing our male classmates in swimsuits." she continued.

Momo nodded, "That's understandable, but we still have to keep stretching." she said. Mika sighed and slapped her cheeks together, "Yeah, you're right." she said, "Let's continue stretching." Momo smiled, and they continued stretching while the guys stretched.

(Small Time Skip)

After the guys finished their training, the girls entered the pool. Momo had a beach ball in her hands, "Let's have some fun." she said; the girls smiled and nodded.

Momo threw the ball in the air and hit it towards the others. Ochaco hit the ball without using her Quirk on it, "Here!" she shouted. Mina hit the ball, "Got it!" she shouted; Tsuyu hit the ball with her tongue, "Ribbit!" she shouted.

Kyoka hit the ball with one of her earphone jacks. Mika was quick in the water and hit the ball, "Take this!" she shouted as she tossed it to Momo. "I got it!" Momo shouted as she hit the ball. The girls tossed the ball to each other and had fun.

After the girls were done playing, Mika sat on the sidelines with her feet in the water. When Mika felt a light tap on her shoulder, she turned her head and saw Koji with a wry smile, making her blush.

Koji sat next to Mika and held a can of orange soda out of her; she had a wry smile, "T-Thank you..." she said. Mika quickly took the can out of Koji's hand and turned the other way. Koji looked at Mika and giggled a bit, "*I'm guessing you're not used to me wearing stuff like this.*" he signed.

Mika was a little embarrassed and slowly nodded, "Y-Yeah..." she said as she opened the orange soda can and started drinking. Koji nodded and looked forward; when Mika looked forward, she saw Mina with a grin.

Mika quickly finished her drink, "A-Anyway, thank you for the drink." she said. Mika held her empty soda can out to Koji, "Do you mind throwing it away for me?" she asked.

Koji nodded as he took the empty soda can out of Mika's hand, "I'll go see if the other girls want to do something else, see ya." she said as she got back in the water and swam away.

Once Mika reached the other end and got out of the pool, she turned to Mina and saw her with a big grin, "You have a thing for him." she said in a teasing tone.

Before Mika could say anything, she heard a loud voice, "Hey Deku!" she turned towards the voice and saw Katsuki talking to Izuku with small explosions coming from his hands, "Wanna decide things right now? Huh!?" he said.

Izuku panicked a bit, "Uh... well..." he said lowly. Tenya had his hand on his chin, "It's true that training isn't interesting on its own." he said, making Izuku turn to him.

Tenya turned to the other guys, "Everyone! Do you want to see which of the boys can swim the fastest?" he asked. Most of the boys smiled, "Yeah!" Denki shouted; Hanta smiled, "Sounds fun." he said.

The girls walked towards Tenya, "We'll help too, Iida." Momo said. Tenya nodded, "Thank you." he said. Mashirao looked at Tenya and raised his hand, "Can we use our Quirks in this race?" he asked.

Tenya nodded, "We're on school grounds so there shouldn't be a problem, but you can't cause any damage to the buildings or other people." he said.

Tenya turned to Mika, "As Class 1-A's secretary, I'll give you the task to announce the winners for each round." he said, "Can you do that, Lyoko?" Mika smiled and nodded, "Yep! You can leave it to me." she said.

Mika activated her kangaroo jumping abilities and jumped towards the other side of the pool. When Mika landed on the ground, she turned to the guys and smiled, "Good luck, guys!" she shouted.

(Small Time Skip)

After a few minutes of stretching, Denki, Katsuki, Koji, Fumikage, and Minoru stood at the starting line. Momo stood on the right side of the pool, "Everyone ready." she said as they got ready to swim, "On your marks."

Once Momo blew the whistle, Mika saw Denki, Koji, Fumikage, and Minoru enter the water and Katsuki jumping in the air and using his explosions, "Burst Speed Turbo!" he shouted as he landed on the ground.

Mika was confused, but she shook her head, "Bakugo wins." she said. Katsuki grinned and turned to the others, "How was that you extras!" he shouted.

Hanta looked at Katsuki, "What do you mean 'How was that'!?" he shouted. Eijiro looked at Katsuki, "You didn't touch the water!" he shouted. Katsuki made more explosions, "It's freestyle swimming!" he shouted.

Mika panicked and turned to the others, "Next five, quickly make your way to the starting line." she said. Eijiro, Rikido, Shoto, Yuga, and Hanta made their way to the starting line, "Everyone ready." Momo said as they got ready to swim, "On your marks."

Once Momo blew the whistle, Mika saw Rikido and Eijiro enter the water, Hanta using his tape, Yuga using his belly button laser, and Shoto using his ice. However, Yuga reached his limit and hit Hanta, causing both of them to stop.

Shoto jumped off his ice and landed on the ground, "Todoroki wins." Mika said. Denki and Minoru looked at Shoto, "You're supposed to be swimming!?" they shouted.

Mika turned to the others, "Final racers, make your way to the starting line." she said. Mezo, Mashirao, Izuku, and Tenya made their way to the starting line, "Everyone ready." Momo said as they got ready to swim, "On your marks."

Once Momo blew the whistle, Mika saw Mezo, Mashirao, and Izuku enter the water, and Tenya on the ropes like a tightrope with a speed boost.

Mika sighed in disbelief, "Not you too." she said lowly. When Mika looked at the others, she saw green electricity around Izuku and he started swimming faster. Mika was shocked, "It's neck-and-neck between Midoriya and Iida!" she shouted.

Tenya looked at Izuku and used his Reciproburst; as they got closer to the pool wall, Mika looked at the pool wall and tried to see who won. When Mika saw who touched the wall, she smiled and raised her fist in the air, "Midoriya wins!" she shouted; the others were cheering.

(Small Time Skip)

After a brief break, Katsuki, Izuku, and Shoto stood at the starting line. They were cheering on for them; Mika was excited about this race. Tenya held the whistle, "Everyone ready." he said as they were using their Quirks at the beginning, "On your marks."

Once Tenya blew the whistle, they jumped; however, their Quirks stopped working, making them fall in the pool. Denki looked at them, "What happened?" he asked. Hanta was confused, "How come they aren't using their Quirks?" he asked.

Mika looked at the entrance and was surprised, "It's Aizawa-sensei." she said. They turned to the entrance and saw Mr. Aizawa walk towards them with his hair up and his eyes glowing crimson red, "It's five o'clock, your time at the pool is over." he said.

Hanta turned to Mr. Aizawa, "Come on Sensei, just a few more minutes." he said. Denki nodded, "It was just getting good." he said. Mr. Aizawa glared at them, "Did you say something?" he asked. "Nothing at all, sir!" they shouted as they headed to the changing rooms.

(Time Skip)

After a quick change back to casual clothes, Mika and Koji were walking together. Mika pouted in anger, "Man! It sucks that we couldn't see the last race." she said.

Mika sighed a bit and smiled, "But it was still awesome." she continued; Koji slowly nodded. Mika turned to Koji and noticed he was a little depressed, "Are you alright?" she asked.

Koji looked away, "Yeah... I'm fine." he said lowly. Mika tilted her head, "Are you upset that you didn't do well on the race?" she asked. Koji sighed and looked forward, "A little..." he said, "I wanted to do well for you, but I feel like I let you down."

Mika sighed and stood in front of Koji, making him stop. Mika got on her tippy toes and kissed Koji, making him blush. When they separated, Koji looked at Mika, "I don't care that you didn't do well." she said smiling; he was surprised, "You don't...?" he asked.

Mika nodded, "My parents always say that they're proud of me when I win or lose on stuff." she said, "So I'm proud of you on stuff like this, win or lose."

Koji smiled a bit, "Thank you, Mika." he said; Mika smiled and held his hand. Mika blushed a bit and looked away, "About the stuff back at the pool... I'm sorry..." she said.

Koji shook his head, "It's alright." he said, "Think of it this way, I always see you in your hero costume and you don't mind it. So, I don't mind you looking at me when I'm wearing swimming trunks." Mika's face got redder, "Y-Yeah... I-I guess that makes sense..." she said.

Koji giggled a bit and kissed Mika's forehead. Mika shook her head and turned to Koji, "Anyway, you ready for training camp?" she asked.

Koji blushed a bit and smiled, "As long as you're there with me, I'm ready for tomorrow's crazy event." he said; Mika smiled as they continued walking.
