Chapter 2: Familia

Well at least I know what timeline I'm in. I watched as Bell started to go crazy about Aiz. I felt bad for Eina the elf but honestly she did not look to bothered by it. I went up to this wolf like girl who I do not remember from the anime.

"Hey I'm new here and was hoping to join a familia as well as get my Adventurer ID." I said to the wolf girl. She gave a smile and the ears on her head twitched. She responded and said "That is fine my name is Charlotte do you need a list of familia to decide who to join also what is your level?"

I smiled and said "Well I am level one and I do not need a list. Could you please get me Loki and Hephaestus." Charlotte shower a slight frown and said "Sorry but it would be extremely hard to get either of them to show up especially for someone who is only level 1."

I nodded and said "Well tell them they will both see something worth showing up." Charlotte looked skeptical but she figured there was no harm in telling the two Goddesses about him. I nodded at her understanding and said "Well I'm going to go down to the dungeon I will be back in later today so let me know what they both say."

Charlotte then said "Wait don't you need a map." But I did not feel like responding so I kept walking away like I did not here any of it.

I decided to walk down the steps of the dungeon. I think this will be a good time to test out how strong I am.

I was on the first floor now and I decided to pull out my dual pistols. When I was on the floor I could sense the monsters around and I could tell they have not come out yet.

Then I started to see them it was just a group of goblins. They are some ugly creatures and while I did not fear them I still shudder off the fact that I have seen the first episode of Goblin slayer. I decide to aim down at one of the goblins that are in the front and I fire my Jackal off.

The bullet pierced the goblins head and went straight through and hit some of the Goblins behind it. However at the initial impact the first Goblins head exploded as its brain spread everywhere. I decided to put my guns away. I was actually really happy with them but decided to put them away to try out my sword and knife.

I decided to do a dual wield style with the sword and knife. With my dominant right hand I gel the sword and used my left hand for the knife. I wanted to try an adopt a strange an abnormal like style. I would hold the sword normal with one hand and then my knife with the handle pointing away from me.

I wanted my style to look lazy but precise. I decided to lazily do an overhead slash to the goblin in front of me. Then with my high perception I could feel a different goblin trying to attack me on my right side. So I decided to do a spin and stab the knife into the goblins side killing it. I then continued this kind of style throughout the first floor trying to perfect it. It was close to a drunk fighting style with the way I would flow throughout with no real rhyme or reason. It became increasingly easier as I used my high perception and battle knowledge to flow wildly through my enemies.

I rinsed and repeated this tactic until I got to the third floor. Where I had gathered an audience with a group of adventurers who were coming back up from the lower floors. I assumed they did not interfere because they wanted to watch my technique as well as not steal my fight.

As I finished the last goblin I looked over to see who was watching and thought 'Wow I honestly did not want to run into them so soon.' It happened to be the Loki group who were coming back up.

I stopped what I was doing and turned around to start heading up but then I heard something running up behind me. So I decided to pull out my jackal and turn around luckily I did not fire as it turned out to be Tiona. Tiona then said "Hey where did you learn to fight like that."

I didn't see the harm in talking to her and said "I taught myself how to do it." Tiona then put a big smile on her face and said "Wow that is so cool can we have a match sometime." Before I could answer Bete the wolf boy said "Why would you want to fight a weakling like that." I was a little upset with what he said but I could not really do anything because I did not have falna yet which would boost my power but also I know about his past and decided to let that one slide.

I then decided to activate one of my shadow abilities and I disappeared into the shadows while Tiona was looking mad at beat. Then I heard Aiz say "He disappeared." Tiona then looked around and started to storm at Bete.

I decided to wait until they left. Once they were gone for awhile I came out of the shadows and let out a big sigh as I went up the stairs to exit the dungeon.

I made my way back up and entered the guild again to check on Charlotte for my request as well as sell my monster cores. I sold my monster cores first for around 50,000 valis the exchanger couldn't believe how many monster cores I had.

I then went over to Charlotte to ask about my request. "Hey Charlotte did you get a response yet from Hephaestus and Loki?" Charlotte nodded and said "Yes I actually did they both happened to agree for the same time. However separately they both said they will curse your family for generations if you waste their time." I just shrugged and said "Okay what time tomorrow?" Charlotte tilted her head annoyed and said "10 am tomorrow." I just nodded and left and decided to go to the hostess of fertility.
