Chapter 4: Familia final

Loki Pov

I woke up early this morning because apparently some level one adventurer thinks he is worth coming into my guild. I can not even remember last time I picked up a level one adventurer. I think it was when Zeus still had a familia. Also apparently this level one adventurer has the balls to have both a meeting with Hephaestus and I at the same time.

He probably has the same level of cockiness as the guy who kicked Bete to the ground. I did not really have a problem with it Bete was out of line but still I was surprised he held my whole familia that was there down. Although it was clearly more out of shock then anything else. His killing intent though made it seem like he was a level five. I have only felt that amount off my own familia and of course I guess Ottar but still surprising none the less.

I finally arrived at the guild and I meet Hephaestus outside. "Hi Hephaestus it appears we showed up at the same time." Hephaestus smiled and said "Well it is the time scheduled. Although I do have to wonder who would think it was a good idea for both of us to show up after all even though we both have the top familias we are pretty different." I just nod while I try to figure it out as well. I guess one thing is for sure whoever it is can not trick me.

We both continue forward and walk into the meeting room inside the guild. What I see shocks me but I do not show it on my face. It is the same kid that kicked Bete.

Mc/ Jacks Pov

Finally they both showed up it took forever. I mean they are on time but I have been here for awhile. "Hi Hephaestus. Loki. I'm Jack Fallen." I bow to both. They both say Hi back. I turn to Loki and say "Sorry about Bete but he was pissing me off." I can tell Loki was analyzing me right now. She then said "I suppose it's fine he was a bit much last night however I do not take attacks against my familia well." I smile and say "Well maybe after this meeting I will be apart of your familia." Loki just nodded. "Well please both sit down so we can talk." They both sit across from me. This is where the fun starts.

"Okay to start I want to take off my mask however there is a catch." Loki is eyeing me while Hephaestus says "What is the catch." I look at Loki and then back at Hephaestus "Well for me to take my mask off would be like you showing your eye it is very personal and I do not know how you two will take it plus I would like to keep it secret. So I want both of you to undergo Godly contracts that neither of you will discuss anything that happens whether it is seen or heard in this room until the meeting is over."

Hephaestus was about to say something when Loki said "What would be the point of agreeing to something like that." Jack turned and said "Well I think it will be worth it for both of you because it will either be something you have not seen before or have not seen in centuries." Hephaestus then said "I understand why you would want the contract if it is comparable with my eye so I will agree to making this contract." Loki looked over in shock. "Fine I guess I will agree. Only because Hephaestus is willing to and technically I can discuss after this meeting with her."

I just nod and then magic contracts appear for both as they give their own seals on them. I then said "Okay haha please do not attack me for how I look." I slowly take off my mask and said "Well that feels better. Hephaestus looked shocked and even Loki could not hide her facial expression even though she hid it quickly. "So anyways I am a demon I guess you could call it. More like my abilities made me this way. While I do think I am handsome it is still a face I worry about people seeing."

Loki was the first to question "How is this possible the demons were wiped out a long time ago." I just shrug and say "I think this is more an effect of my abilities anyways." Hephaestus thought for a moment before saying " What are your abilities by the way because while I do appreciate we have something in common when it comes to hiding stuff I am only accepting smiths at the current moment." I sighed and said "Well actually I am an assassin build." Hephaestus got up and said "Well it was nice to meet you hopefully we can talk more another time."

It was just Loki and I now and it had actually been a couple minutes since Hephaestus left and not a word has been said. I decided to try and start the conversation again but that's right when Loki started to speak. " So what were those weapons that you pointed at Bete last night." I made my Jackal and Casull appear and said "Oh these they are like magic blasters and are soul bonded with me." Loki thought for a moment and said "Do you have any other soul bonded weapons." I smiled and said "Yes I do as well as a lot of useful skills. For instance the skill I used to disappear from the Hostess of Fertility. However before I tell you anymore I would like to join your Familia."

Loki pondered for a moment. "If I do let you join however you have to be a part of my expedition group so like Aiz Tiona.... Bete." I smiled "How about this for the first month I will be with that group and then whenever they actually go on a big expedition through the dungeon I will go with them however outside of those two conditions I get to do what I want." Loki sat there with her eyes closed pondering for a moment " I will agree to that if your level and stats are up to par for what I want."

I tilted my head "What does that entail?" Loki smiled "You have to be higher then level two and have a S rank ability." I just smiled "Easy let's go to my new home."
