"Do you believe in existing for something? Let me rephrase that, do you believe we all have a purpose?" I asked some kids at the library, as they sat down, to listen to me. The library was silent for a few seconds, people all around the library reading or searching for books. "No, I believe we were given a chance to strengthen the world," Tommy mentioned. "Adam and Eve got a chance and when God became flesh and observed the world, realising all the temptations, God decided to give us a chance to make a difference. Those who do, go to heaven." Lily revealed. These were in fact the gifted children, very smart kids.
"Yeah, sometimes the littlest things can make a huge impact even if it is just to one person. Like me giving you a hug for nothing, it'll brighten up a bad day or make a good day even better..." Betty accepted. "Allow me to demonstrate." Stanley interrupted.
"Don't even try it, Stanley! Exactly, I guess, I'm not much of a supporter of God" I disclosed,
"Why? God is real and kind!" They screamed out which caused the librarian, to spray us with a spit shower and tell us to 'be quiet.'
"He didn't do much good for me when I needed him. I was a believer, but maybe he was not real and scientists were right all along." I argued and explained
"We're sorry, but do you believe everything is made for a reason, we give the things we make a purpose, hence why we make them, right? Then it means someone gave us a purpose, if it ain't God, it had to be someone or something." James questioned.
"You make an excellent point, but let me tell you a story, let's see things from my perspective!" I demanded
"Ok." The wonderful kids agreed.
It was 2002, the year of awesome movies, a year of deaths and we may not have realised it then, but the year in which, stars were born.
The moonlight glisten, and the stars gleamed. A man along with his child-bearing wife and their 5-year-old, were in the warehouse along with a few other men, in uniform. Traffic, accidents and wind occurred outside. The smell of smoke lingered in the air. The pregnant wife that was sitting on a bunch of blankets, screamed and squeezed the life out of her husband. After the contractions were less than five minutes apart, it was soon time to push.
"Keep breathing honey." The husband said.
"Ewe daddy the circle of life is gross; shouldn't mommy be at a hospital." Their daughter dramatically mentioned.
"Tell your daughter to shut her hole, or we will shoot her." One of the men shouted.
"Lauren, this is our new home, we were lucky to have it because of these shitty men over there, so please stop talking," The husband told the daughter
" Yes daddy, I love you and trust your decisions." The daughter commented
"Aww!" The man mentioned while he smiled.
"I want kids!" The other man said out loud by accident.
"It's not too late, give us freedom and you could have it all…" The husband commented before stating under his breath, "Clearly, you are not the brains of the operation."
As the men take each step forward slowly, the tension grew bigger, and Michael's knot in his stomach almost exploded. He was certainly panicked, there were so many ways they could kill him at this point. The men got so close; he felt the breath they let out as he sighed.
"Don't try it, my friend. I am not going to kill you, but we also know the boss gave you the worst punishment of all."

The sounds of cries filled the room so loud, that the men moved away and covered their ears.
"I'm going to cut the umbilical cord, then I'll distract him while you take Lauren, the baby and run, don't stop. We will meet at the safe house." Michael whispered to his wife.
"Sweetie be careful." His wife replied.
"We've been living here for 10 years, it's time," Michael stated.
They nodded their heads, as the plan took place. Once the baby was wrapped up, the mother wrapped a blanket around her waist while Michael, the husband, distracted them. He moved behind them, and once he started talking, they looked in the opposite direction of where Lauren, her mother who was in a harsh amount of pain from just giving birth and her new sibling where. Lauren saw an open window, and they snuck out of it, just as Michael said, "The sad thing about this, isn't the fact that he gave me a life-changing punishment, but that you think it affects me."
"Hey, look who starting to get a big mouth..." one of the men declare before he laughed.
"It doesn't affect me, I love my new baby, you know why?" Michael continued
"Shut up," one of the agitated men aggressively said,
"Wrong answer, she is actually going to grow up strong, skilled, kind, protective and a saviour, something you are not, but I am." He mentions before punching them in the faces.
The men groan, before getting their guns out quickly from their pockets, Michael quickly twisted his leg around the man's arm, which eventually snapped, dropping the gun, he used his hand and banged their heads together, they both lost balance and fell down, Lauren's dad picked up the gun, determined to escape and pointed it at them before he shot them both in the legs. Both men cried in pain, he took that chance to go and find his family.
Meanwhile, Sarah the mother ran as fast as she could holding her newborn to her chest and her 5-year-old's hand. Men ran behind them, chasing them. As they ran, she saw an opportunity to lose them, her kids, not the men, there was a street carnival at night. They were approaching it quite quickly.
"Ok listen to me, Lauren, I love you honey so much, but what I need from you is to take your sister and hide in that crowd, I'm going to lead the men away from you, I want you and your sister to know, that I love you both more than anything, I wish we could be a great family, but it's not in the cards. Go now!"
She hands Lauren the child as they rush through the crowd and separate.
