3. The Empire Army Part 2

Previous

"The death of your family." He replied.

The boy. Now. Felt like he was about to lose his mind.

Current

Shiro couldn't believe what he just heard. Dead of his family? Why he couldn't even remember that?? He was in unbelievable shock. And he couldn't take the pain he suddenly felt. He felt so weak, and almost dropped to the ground cause of it. But he didn't let himself.

The guy noticed Shiro sudden change, and come closer to him, standing just two feet away from him. Which made Shiro feel very uncomfortable, but he looked up to the guy's face seeing it more clearly now. Which scared him even more. He seemed to be mad at something but he didn't understand why, since nothing seemed to have happened yet. He was the one recieving the bad news, not that guy. So why mad?

"How much do you remember?"

Shiro hearing upon the same question again today wanted to answer it the same way as before. But something told him answering it the same was as he answers Nathan earlier could make things worse with this guy. But could he tell him about the only voice he remembered? Since nothing else was there.

"Nothing."

The guy looked at Shiro and was more pissed. But he didn't said anything, just went back to where he was before, behind his desk this time to sit down. Facing Shiro.

"What have you been told?" He asked Shiro.

"Nothing, just been roughly shown around." He tried to keep his cool, and get back from how he felt from the news. "Can you tell me more about death of my family?" He asked, having some hopes that maybe there be something inside the guy that would him find out more. But it didn't seemed so.

"Everything at its right time."

Shiro at that response felt disappointment and anger, but that soon hot shut down. He couldn't let himself get mad here, and even more to get mad at this guy. Thinking about, he still didn't even knew his name. And he wasn't sure if he was going to find out any point soon. But that's wasn't on his mind right now. He just wanted to know what happened to his family. What was that he survived that they didn't. And why. He can't find out from this guy at all.

"You be part of the Imperial Military Any from today. But you be heading to school first. You are only 15, which means you still need to be in education. And more importantly. You need a lot of training before you officially become someone important."

Somehow the last sentence made Shiro mad, but he knew the guy was right. But why was he here anyway?

"What am I doing here, sir? And maybe I ask... what am i supposed to call you?" He asked in more confident and curious voice, which made the guy relax too at Shiro.

"You learn what to call me as time will go by." He obviously ignored the first question Shiro asked, but he didn't care anymore. He just wanted to move on now.
