~There's a land

that doesn't exist on the ground

It's in my heart where nothing could be found

Fireworks there never make a sound

so listen to me closely now

I can try

to look somewhere else for peace

but a friend asked me to stay, please.

So I fear

that light is only there when you're here

that I'm a star that burned away with tears

long before I was able to count the years.

Don't you try

to take another flight

to the land that's in my heart.

I'm the tree they pick love from,

like black grapes and apricots

so sweet.

don't tell me not to love... it's how I breathe.

you know you should

remember the best of your childhood

It wasn't all loss and wood.

If my heart has a bottom it's on the surface now,
