Hell!

Kido is a form of Shinigami combat based on advanced spells. These spells are produced with strong Reiryoku and fall into two categories: Hadō for direct attacks, and Bakudō for battle support. It is one of the techniques in the Zankensoki, the group of Shinigami primary combat skills. Kidō spells are triggered by an incantation. Experienced users can trigger them without an incantation, though the effectiveness of the spell may be diminished.

Kido can be used in many different ways depending on the proficiency of a Soul Reaper that uses it. While it can be used by Soul Reapers with Hollow like powers the reishi within a pure hollow does not allow for kido to be utilized. Therefore Kisuke spent a few days analyzing the Reishi compound of Layla and Nel, he didn't want to reinvent the wheel when it came to kido but modify the techniques so that Hollows could use them.

On paper, this sounds like a simple task but in practice, it is like trying to perform brain surgery the slightest mistake could be fatal. However, the two Vasto Lorde were extremely competent offering their input from time to time which made the experiment far more successful than Kisuke working alone. Eventually, their hard work paid off.

"Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hadō #31. Shakkahō!" An orb of crimson red energy appeared in Nel's hand and was discharged causing a small explosion on a rock face a few meters away.

When the smoke cleared Nel became ecstatic while both Kisuke and Layla seemed to exhale a sigh of relief. With the first successful test, Kisuke spent the next few weeks teaching the Two all he knew about Kido until the day finally came. Standing on top of a Large wooden gate Kisuke and Yoruichi began to speak out the incantation.

A portal appeared that had a sinister Deep crimson appearance. "When you arrive in hell as long as you do not die the sky is the limit. If you kill a soul in hell it will revive as know so there is no need to worry, as they are sinners your life should not be affected in any way of you kill them. In fact, you are doing a good deed. Beware of the Kushanāda which are the guardians of Hell, They are all very large beings who walk on all fours. They have elongated skull-like heads and a large piece of armor on their right shoulders. The Kushanāda watch over the Togabito, punishing them for their crimes they committed while they were alive. In Hell, their authority is nearly unmatched as long as you do not attack one you should be fine."

Looking at the Portal Layla and Nel felt excitement yet fear, walking through that portal will open an entirely new chapter of their lives. Taking the steps through the crimson curtain the world starts to spin as a powerful gaze looked them over. Before this gaze, there were no secrets all your life was laid bare before it.

The Chains of Hell got close to the duo's bodies with the intention to shackle them for eternity, yet when the gaze finished it's investigation the Chains subsided giving the duo passage to the First layer of Hell.

Standing on the top of one of the many floating white cubes on the First level Layla and Nel were assaulted by the Spirit Energy of the area. Like a mountain, it pressed down on their bodies making them feel small and insignificant. Their bodies then seemed to be broken down and restructured by the spirit energy, the Saketsu which is the source of power in a Soul Reaper and hollow was strengthened and enhanced along with the Hakusui. While this didn't directly increase their power it gave them far more potential for growth, if before they were a Sports car driving along a track now they would be a Fighter Jet moving across the pacific.

The release of their Spiritual Pressure drew out the Togabito, Hollows, Soul Reapers, Humans, stood side by side as the chains of hell could be seen on their bodies. Looking at the new arrivals the Togabito didn't use any strategy, there was no need, their sheer numbers would crush the newcomers.

Layla looked at the souls surrounding them with disinterest, opening her mouth slightly she allowed her powerful spiritual Pressure to rain down on the area causing the Souls to be forced onto their knees by the power she released. Then like a vacuum, she started to literally suck the souls into her being using a technique called Gonzui.

The army of souls that once surrounded them became a source of power for Layla fueling her promotion to Arrancar.

Promotion Requirements: Massive Level Spiritual Pressure, 100,000 Souls(Completed), 3 Evolutions, 1,000 Human Souls(Completed)

*Fragments of Futan 863/1000*

Seeing the Fragments of Futan increase Layla questioned Zuex.

"From what I can gather these fragments are pieces of a Zanpakuto spirit, any more information is unavailable at the moment. However, before the Arrancar Level, there is zero possibility that the spirit will awaken." Internally nodding her head a Zuex's words Layla turned to Nel.

"The First level seems to be filled with the weakest beings, if we want to find an Arrancar we are going to have to travel much much deeper." Lifting up her arm Layla noticed that the Fur on her body started to fall off leaving behind the smooth Mocha colored skin underneath.

Nel noticed the change as well and became happy "It seems you are on your way to becoming an Arrancar!"

Layla's body only had a few areas that remained covered by the fur which were her groin and torso making her look like she had on a turtlenecked dress. Her hair was a long Cyan color as pieces of her mask fell off leaving her left eye exposed.

"I just have to collect some unique traits from a few interesting souls to Evolve a few times then I should be able to become an Arrancar, but before we leave this place we will both cross that barrier." Saying this Layla moved forward jumping from cube to cube to traverse this large area.

The Level of the Souls on the first level we of no threat so they progressed smoothly to the second and eventually the Third but here is where they encounter their first problem. There were many sinners on this level and the power radiating off of their bodies wasn't something the duo could ignore.

There was one Sinner in particular that made Both Nel and Layla slightly nervous, he wore the traditional soul reaper attire and a Zanpakuto hung on his body. He had flowing Blond hair and a scar that ran across his face diagonally rendering his right eye useless.

"Finally someone new to entertain me." His voice was low, not in volume but octet, his single green eye contained a livelihood unlike the sinners around him.

"*Make them Kneel*" His body started to glow a powerful Silver as his spirit energy increased drastically.

"*Tsukuyomi*" A sliver light blinded them as He released his Zanpakuto.
