'Home'2 {Short}

Zatanna just looked at Ben and raised an eyebrow.

"You made a planet?" she asked with a sarcastic tone.

"Planets," Ben replied with a smile, "With an S."

"Huh, that's amazing."

"Thank you. Want a quick tour?" Ben asked her.

"Sure, but how are we going to tour a planet quickly?"

"Well, this planet is my 'house' in a sense so it's not that big," Ben scratched his beard, "It's probably around the size of Mars and it's the smallest of the ones I've made so far."

"How many have you made?" Zatanna questioned, barely wrapping her head around the fact that the man in front of her could create planets and talked about it like it was nothing.

"How about I just show you? We'll start with this one," Ben smirked and held his hand out for Zatanna to take it.

Nodding, the magician took the outstretched hand and Ben flew them up in the air, going until the giant trees looked like grass.

"So this planet is mostly land," Ben started, "It has no oceans or bays, just some lakes and rivers. Some are salt water but most are fresh. The lake we were just in was my 'bath' and my real 'bedroom' is over here."

Ben teleported them a few hundred miles east and they reappeared in total darkness.

"The land below us is basically a giant bed and there's no light here because I only use this place to sleep," he explained.

"This is wild," Zatanna exclaimed, not even able to see Ben who she was holding hands with, "So is this planet just broken up into sections like a normal house?"

"Yep," Ben had them appear on a section of the planet where the ground was made of some grey metal, "However, there are some exceptions."

He lightly stomped his right foot down and green holograms started to rise from the floor, forming house-like structures and gaining color similar to real life. Some houses looked like they were really there. Zatanna reached out expecting her hand to go through it but the structure was completely tangible.

"This is my training grounds," Ben chuckled when he saw Zatanna's dumbfounded look.

"Is there anything you can't do?" She laughed.

"Um, I don't know actually," he replied.

"What's with this if you can do anything?" Zatanna spread her arms out towards the city that was forming before them.

"It keeps me grounded," Ben said while walking towards a short pedestal taking shape near him, "I practice different scenarios without using my watch," he grabbed the omnitrix off of his arm and placed it on the pedestal.

"I thought all your power came from that though," Zatanna looked at him quizzically, "Are you just going to practice martial arts?"

"In a sense," Ben chuckled, "Yes, the watch initially was my main source of power but it has a lot of features which cultivated my normal body to the point where I can do almost anything physically."

"How did it do that?"

"Every time I get injured, no matter how bad, the watch cycles through all the alien DNA and fixes my body, therefore enhancing it permanently. I lost my original body a long time ago due to the freaking universe exploding," Ben dramatically raised his hands.

"What?" Zatanna exclaimed, "The universe exploded?"

"Long story," Ben waved a hand, "Anyway, my body has been enhanced to the point where I'm about 100x stronger than the average human male."

"Wow, I don't even know how to react to that."

"Ha, yeah, it took me a while to get all of my new enhancements in check," Ben's eyes zoned out in memory.

"Ben?" Zatanna got his attention, "So everything about you is 100x stronger? Not just your strength?"

"That's right but the watch acts as a limiter so my senses don't overload, even though my brain capacity can handle all of my enhanced senses, it's a lot easier to focus on certain things when I can control them. Right now, without the watch, I can hear just about everything happening on this planet and my vision is obscured only by the curve of the horizon."

"That's a lot of information for me to ingest all at once," Zatanna lightly laughed.

"I get it," Ben tenderly kissed her, feeling a huge wave of euphoria as his lips touched hers; his body now super sensitive to everything.

"I suggest you back up a bit," He whispered in Zatanna's ear.

"Why?" She whispered back before softly pecking his neck.

"Because I need to fight that guy by myself to show off for you," He pointed a thumb behind him where a red creature was taking shape a few blocks away from them. It was a couple heads taller than Ben and it took a mostly humanoid shape but had four arms with short spikes on the elbows. It roared loudly and started running towards them.

"What the hell is that?" Zatanna asked, surprised by a creature she's never seen before.

"That, my dear," Ben grinned, "is a Tetramand."
