The sun rays reached Lanie's face when Tyler opened the curtain in his room. Tyler just finished washing and he was only wearing his black shorts. He was drying his hair using the towel on his shoulder while looking at Lanie who moved a little because of the sun ray on her face.
"Ugh! It's too bright!" She complained, she even rolled before burying her face on the pillow.
"Sleepy head, you should get up now. The sun is already up." Tyler casually said as he leaned on the wall of his window and amusingly watched Lanie.
Lanie slowly got up. The white blanket fell from her shoulder to her thighs. Tyler watched Lanie as she rubbed her eyes tiredly, her hair a bird's nest on the top of her head. Then, she groaned and held her head.
"That's what you get from drinking too much last night." He said, now getting a plain white t-shirt on his closet.
"What time is it?" a soft voice croaked from the bed. Lanie was still half-asleep and she did not still process everything because of the hangover.
"It's already 10 in the morning." Tyler answered and sat on the chair near the window.
Lanie's eyes widened. Then, she looked at the room and she now finally noticed that that room was not hers. Instinctively, she looked at her clothes under the blanket and sighed as she was relieved that she was still wearing her clothes from yesterday.
Tyler smirked as he watched her panicking. But then, his face turned into a serious one when Lanie looked in his direction. Lanie looked at Tyler with her shock expression.
What the fuck is happening? Why am I here? What happened last night? Damn, Did I drink too much? She thought, panicking.
"W-why am I… How?" she stammered. Tyler raised his brow when Lanie suddenly pulled the blanket to cover herself. She even brushed her hair using her fingers.
"What happened last night?" Lanie closed her eyes as she bit her lip. "I mean. Did something happen last night?" Lanie almost cursed herself for asking these questions. She felt her head was being hammered right now.
"What do you think?" Lanie slightly opened her mouth, looking at Tyler. She doesn't remember anything last night except the things that happened at the bar when she was still with Penelope and Althea. After she heard Penelope's story, they just drank and drank and that's it. After that, she doesn't know what happened next. She was completely drunk.
Lanie quickly composed herself and got up. She even picked up her things like someone's chasing her. She almost fell while she was putting on her heels. Tyler just watched her with amusement in his face.
"I… I t-think I need to go now. T-thank you for letting me sleep here and sorry for bothering you l-last night." Lanie said without looking at Tyler and quickly walked towards the door.
"Stop right there, Kitten." Tyler suddenly spoke when Lanie was about to grab the doorknob. Tyler stood up and walked toward Lanie who did not move from her place.
"Look at me, Kitten." he ordered. Lanie bit her lip and slowly turned around to face him. But she suddenly stepped back because Tyler was too close to her! Their bodies almost touch! Tyler moved closer to her until she felt her back on the door. Lanie did not know where to look. She was panicking because he was too close! She even felt his breathing on her forehead!
Tyler smirked when he saw Lanie's reaction. She was so brave last night when she was being clingy to him, what happened now, huh? Tyler put his both hands on the door, caging her. He is taller than her so he crouched near her face. He held her chin and made her look at him, then he gave her naughty smile that made Lanie stunned.
"Not so fast, baby." With that Lanie's heart beat widely. She tried to push him but he was too strong to hold her firmly. Tyler stared at her, still with his naughty smile, because Lanie doesn't seem to know what to do in this situation of theirs.
Tyler sexily chuckled and stepped back, putting his both hands on his pocket. "Go, wash yourself, first. There are spare clothes in the bathroom. I'll prepare our breakfast." He then went out to the room leaving Lanie who was not yet fully recovered from what was happening right now.
