The Only Witness

When Lanie heard a loud sound like something explode, she immediately went out of the bathroom. She almost bumped into someone so she stepped back, to her surprise, it was Manuel. She went to him to check his bruises. She cursed when he flinched because of her touch. She put Manuel's arm to her shoulder and held his waist to help him walk.

"W-wait. M-mr. Lancaster is still inside-" Manuel said and stopped walking. Lanie looked at him before looking back to see the men's bathroom door then, he scanned Manuel.

"I'll help you get out of here first. You need to be checked." she said. When they arrived at the lobby, Carol saw them coming, bewildered, she called the guards.

"Oh my god! What happened?!" Carol looked at injured Manuel then back to Lanie. They didn't answer her; instead, Lanie looked at the guards.

"Take him to the hospital, don't leave him, okay?" The guards nodded. She looked at Manuel once again before running back to the elevator.
