The Only Witness

After Tyler calmed Lanie, he ordered her to watch Manuel so she continued her job even though she was distracted. Tyler reassured her that what she saw would not happen. That Manuel will not die. That they will save him.

Lanie was always with Manuel. She was with him when he had to clean rooms. She was watching him from afar when she was in a lobby and he was cleaning at the outside garden of the hotel. She was making sure that Manuel will not leave her sight. She will make sure that no one will die until she can save and protect the people around her.

She was relieved that nothing happened to him the whole day. She went to the locker room to change and get her bag. The boy's locker room was just beside the girl's locker room. When she went out, she peeked at the boy's locker room to check if Manuel was still there. Her heart pounded when she couldn't find Manuel there. Did he leave already?
