After the Gerpacio’s case was solved and due to Lanie’s wish, everything turned back into the right places. Lanie forgot everything that was connected to that massacre and also the people she met during those times. And vice versa. 

After 3 years, when everything in their lives was going smoothly, their path crossed again. Is there a chance to continue the love that was ignored because of their situation before? What will Tyler and Lanie do now that they finally meet again?

The Only Witness

"You still have this… and always carrying it in your wallet?" she asked as she got the picture. It was taken in front of Gerpacio's mansion. The first time her Grandmother Cesille brought her there. The triangular photo had a torn on the right side. She can't remember why the photo had a tear like it was intentionally removed. She also couldn't remember who was the person she was with in the photo. Her memories of her childhood were very vague to her.

"I want to see you smile like that again. A true and genuine smile.'' he said.

"Someday, Jake. Someday." she answered and gave back the photo to him but he shook his head.

"I'm returning that photo to you now. It was originally yours anyway. Keep it as a reminder that you have to show me that smile again." Jake said so Lanie put the photo on her wallet.

They spend the whole day talking and doing random stuff. They spend time with each other like they are filling again the time they weren't together.
