Update

After Alvarez went out and left Lanie and Tyler inside, he let out a heavy sigh after deciding to go down. There were no people roaming around in the neighborhood this midnight. The night was quiet and calm. He looked up in the night sky as he leaned on Tyler's car.

"So that was the reason, Dad…" he muttered and scoffed.

After an hour, Tyler went out. Alvarez looked at him before he adjusted his posture.

"Thank you." he said. Tyler tilted his head. "Thank you for making the story short."

"She will think about it if I don't do that. You know her, she is always worrying about the problems of others."

Alvarez sighed then, looked up at the rooftop. "Yeah. That's one of her toxic habits."

Tyler leaned on the car. He placed his hands on his pockets. Alvarez remained standing in front of him.

"I saw Jake's text." Alvarez said initially. "There was one message that arrived. I guess Jake sent that after they parted."
