The Only Witness

"Let her rest, then. Let's just wait for her here." Kieffer said before he looked at Penelope and wiggled his eyebrows then he glanced at Tyler.

Althea's doctor finished checking her but Lanie still didn't come. It's already seven thirty in the evening.

"What do you want for dinner? I'll buy food." Penelope said as she stood up and got her bag.

"Ah, we're okay. Tyler and I need to go to the hotel." Kieffer said as he put back his phone in his pocket and looked at Tyler. "Meeting." He informed him. Tyler only nodded at him and looked at his watch then to the door.

"Then, let's go?" Penelope said to them then, she went to Althea. "Mark will be here. I'll be quick." She said. Althea smiled at her and gave her an okay sign.

When they were about to leave the room, someone knocked. They expected that it was Lanie but it was a delivery man?

They exchanged looks at each other before they moved their attention to the delivery man.
