The Only Witness

Lanie came back to the place where Kevin left her. She knew he would come back there for her. She waited for about 10 minutes before she saw Brixx going down the stairs, behind him was Kieffer together with Alberto Penales and Kevin who looked pale but at the same time looked like he was irritated at something.

Her brows twisted when Brixx glanced at her as he passed her and went to the party hall while Kieffer winked at her and followed his friend. Alberto Penales became busy welcoming the guest so Kevin was the only one who approached her.

"Did something happen?" she immediately asked. Kevin shook his head at her and smiled.

"Let's go?" Kevin held her waist as they went to the party hall. When they entered the hall, some of the guests looked at their way like they were celebrities. Lanie looked confused at Kevin when he suddenly went closer to her. She heard some murmurs coming from the guests, asking if she's Kevin's girl or not.
