The Only Witness

"You sent her home?" Kieffer asked after Tyler sat beside him. He simply nodded and made Kieffer noticed that he has a lot of things on his mind.

"Sir Alberto offered us to stay here. You know, I don't drink and drive so I said yes." Kieffer said as he watched the people around them while holding his wine.

"Should we find out what happened 3 years ago?" Tyler suddenly asked then, he looked at Kieffer, waiting for his suggestion. Kieffer put down his wine on the table and sighed as he thought.

"In my opinion? No." He said as he shook his head. "Just think of it, bro. She forgot some memories of her past because she wanted it to be forgotten. The trauma, the pain and whatever happened that year. That means, she doesn't want that past anymore. She wanted to move on from that and start a new life."
