The Only Witness

<p>"You don't have to drop me off at your place. Just go straight to the hotel." Lanie said to Tyler after he said that he has an emergency meeting to attend today. That was the reason why he cut their little reunion earlier even though he still wanted to make her stay with them until she decided to go home. He couldn't just leave her there.  </p>

<p>"I can go home by myself." she continued. "Don't worry." Tyler didn't respond to her. His face remained serious like he was thinking carefully about what he would do. Then, when Tyler parked his car in the parking lot of the hotel, Lanie immediately got his answer. He finally let her be separated from him because of his emergency meeting today.  </p>
