Hearing the door knob twisting, Ying Yue jumped up from te couch and ran to the switch. Finding it she quickly grabbed a stool and stood on it, reaching to the switch she turned off the light, getting down quietly she came to the window and pushed back the curtain little bit till her single eye can see who was outside. This was what she learned in previous life when the lights are turned off inside the person outside will be unaware on who is seeing him or her.
Seeing that it was her beloved mother who was unlocking the door she smiled switched on the light and ran to the door. Has soon as Yu Yan stepped in Ying Yue greeted her,
"Mom! You are back. How was your day? Do you want me to rub your feet? Do you want water?"

"Just sit and get comfortable I am going to get you a glass of water."

Yu Yan gave little Ying Yue a smile unable to say anything with the way little Ying Yue started question after question before running into the kitchen.
Yu Yan removed her coat and hanged it on the cloth rack by the door. Reaching the couch in few steps she sat down putting her bag and the bakery items on the table when she heard her daughter coming.
She turned her attention towards her beloved daughter and saw that she was carrying a tall glass of water and was humming a soft tune.
Taking the water from her and taking few gulps before putting it down on the table, she grabbed little Ying Yue and placed her on her lap.

"Thankyou! My Baby! You are so caring towards your mother".

"Mother decided that little Ying Yue deserves a little treat. See what mommy brought for her beloved daughter".
Ushering her to open it Ying Yue gave her a smile and opened the shopping bag and took the the bread loaf and brown paper bag out from it.
Placing the bread loaf aside she looked at her mother and saw her giving an encouraging look. Opening the bag she saw two donuts inside it. Closing the bag and putting it down she directed her attention towards her mother.
"Mom! You don't need to do that. I am not doing this to get anything in return. Don't waste your hard-earned money like that".

"Baby daughter listen, don't get upset. I will tell you the truth that these donuts and bread loaf didn't cost me anything, Ok!".

"Are you sure mom? You are not lying?".
At her mother's nod Ying Yue bit into one of the donuts while giving the other to her mother telling her that she needs to it one to. Yu Yan accepted and ate the other donut.
"Mom! Where did you get them? They are just like yours. Like the ones you make at home".

"Oh! Is that a compliment that I hear? I am glad that you like them. And no I can't tell you the place yet it's surprise, we will visit it together after your exams.".
