[The Fiend Lord: Arc 18]

Once upon a time, on Planet Earth, a young girl was born; the story goes that her identity was never adequately clarified, but she was effectively known as the 'Holy Light.'

Her title depicted the real life of one's planet. Humankind did not know the Dimensions that had appeared alongside her birth, only of the Spirits that had been destroyed or disappeared.

The woman... The Holy Light, the heir of all the inhabitants, was not born alone. The arrival of the Demon God, whose name was Rez, caused anarchy, and humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Humans terrified him because of his recklessness and hunger for blood, and Demons started to manifest all over the Earth and The World of Zero, alongside alternate races such as The Inner Fiends, The Shades, Wraiths, and Spirits.

To combat the challenge, a new breed of people has awakened, the 'Spiritual Duelists' and 'Substitute-Duelists,' who have been dubbed the "First Army to Face Evil."

With their Legendary Weapons, the Ginken. This swarm of humans increased the world's cleanliness to the greatest extent possible, overwhelming the Demons of various grades and placing their survival at risk.

But, after several years of waiting, the 'Holy Light' gave birth to a human child, a girl of theoretically greater worth than Zero herself, but unlikely to become the next 'Holy Light,' their Goddess gave the girl to a friendly family, and since her mother needed to participate in protecting the divinity, the girl's memories were wiped.

But there is another royalty trapped within the shadows that have been concealed for millennia, even longer than the birth of a Demon...

The only one who has beaten the 'Holy Light's own is the Fiend Lord. Its lurkers will undoubtedly be wiped out, and the newfound foe will ready the battlefield...

The Long-forgotten Fiend Lord has awakened from its slumber, engulfing Tim's body and putting everyone in grave danger.

"The guy... No, he's a true monster! W-What in the world is going on?!" Kin questioned himself, afraid down his throat as he gulped. "Everyone, get this monster out of our way!" Immediately, the army troops charged in.

Tim's right arm was entangled in the chain and unable to move, so as Tim twisted, the chain was dragged off until it broke into bone, and Tim's right arm immediately moved forward, at which point the chains started to fly right at the soldiers who were attempting to kill Tim.

"Come on!" The soldier was unable to stop as the chain suddenly went stabbing into his stomach, at which point another group of soldiers primed their weapons and spinning them, screaming, but with a single but quick move of his wrist, the chains were once again released when a whole line of such soldiers was stabbed into the chest, pierced, and fell into the air while their blood exploded.

They were unable to catch him when a soldier rushed forward and charged, but a cord soon wrapped around his body, until Tim's long white hair flew, at which point Kin's jaw dropped open in terror at what was happening in front of him.

"This is just not true! With all of those dangling chains, how am I supposed to reach him?" Kin turned around with a gulp of terror and tension after seeing how many soldiers he had carried flew past his body and smashed into the walls by the ropes.

"Damn these wusses! But, once again! Nobody informed us of this!" Kin yelled as Tim's growl and pitch screech echoed through the neighborhood, causing everyone standing to cover their ears.

"It's deafening! My ears!!! It's so loud -They're going to blow up!!" However, the moment a soldier complained and cried, a chain shot through his torso, pinning him to the wall, until another chain stretched and swept through the soldier's mouth, slashing his throat and spitting out another collection of blood.

The last army that stood dashed for the kill, but like the others, they were halted by the chains and slaughtered by them, leaving Kin behind.

"No one of my soldiers have made it to the 5-meter mark! No, no! Do I really have to do everything by myself?" Kin swung the blade to the left, once blasting off with a sprint.

When the chain started to fly toward Kin at full speed, Tim moved his left arm to keep him alive. Kin was in need of assistance, however, he resisted.

He began by running on the spot, seeing how the chain was aiming for his middle, and swiftly cutting the sword from above the head to the side, as the chain proceeded to slip itself on the metal, producing sparks.

To keep his power balanced, he caught the sword's handle and continued running on; once again, the next pair of chains shot forward as he saw them.

He swung his sword obliquely into the concrete, throwing the first chain to the left, then immediately raised his ankle while jumping on the spot and twisted and swung while knocking the chain aside with a twist of his whole body.

Kin was able to crouch while the third chain sailed over the top of his body, and by stomping the dirt and sinking his feet into the earth, he unleashed a burning desire as he ran for the kill.

However...

While seeing that Tim had been free to be pierced, Kin stepped to the front of the chained shield and stabbed his blade, the chains left around Tim easily waved to the front of his body and formed a chained shield.

However, the blade was quickly stopped, and when attempting to break into the barricaded body, he saw how the chains sharpened and whipped out, catching him off guard, and he was knocked back with full force, fortunately not wounded due to defending.

Kin landed on the floor after being flung backward and quickly spun around, outstretching his right arm to the left and turning the sword before dashing forward.

"You're screwed! I'm going to murder you! I guess I was the bad guy here?! Yet I was mistaken. The woman died because you were unable to defend her!" Even after pinching Tim into despair, it was apparent that Tim was out of balance as he bent his body over and stomped the earth, causing the ground to shatter and the dust and rocks to fly around him, floating.

When Tim's body flickered from the spot, leaving behind a cyclone of wind, Kin was caught off-balance, after seeing Tim in front of him and swiftly cutting with his right arm when shocking Kin after slashing Kin's body until Kin suddenly felt pain and was unable to stop swiftly cut.

However, as Tim caught Kin's right arm after shocking his opponent, he then sliced with his sword and cut off Kin's arm while the blood squirted and pulled Kin into a horrific scream, by which point Tim had already leaned over and stabbed Kin's chest with full force when Kin's eyes felt terror.

A red Shodō started to charge on Tim's horns before immediately beaming forward and blowing Kin's body down into the city's earth, at which point chains rose from behind Tim and soared over his head, chasing Kin down.

"Awful!" Kin started to see chains crashing down toward him in a spin of his body, and when in the midst of the flipping roll, his sword was dragged as well, slashing at the same moment and bouncing the chains aside, emitting spark.

He realized that the remaining chains were still falling back down when his body spun and then landed on the concrete. "How many do you think there are?!" However, by stepping up and swinging his blade upwards, he was able to bounce another chain to the left.

Kin ducked and rolled to the floor, feeling how the chains he had avoided dug into the dirt as he twisted his body to the side as another chain flew over his left leg, once the third had fallen from the front.

And while sensing that, the ground immediately shattered into smaller pieces when he noticed a chain sweeping toward him, and in order to avoid being killed on the spot, Kin quickly moved the turned up body and the sword while blocking and feeling the chain collide with the metal of his blade, knocking him back into a backflip.

Kin immediately healed his severed arm by grasping it while in excruciating agony. "Damn him, this maniacal Fiend! I'm going to make sure he never comes back to life!" Kin glared angrily at Tim's fiendish face.

- Yashikami City, Thursday, 9:42 pm -

Elliot charged forward, crouching and looking over the battleground as he flipped onto the side of the rooftop.

"This is inhumane! What on earth happened to his body?! Is he out of control, or what?!" Elliot wondered when he saw Tim's body bent down and unleashing another Shodōand then realized Kin had easily leaped over onto a wheel and landing as the next Shodōwas released, seeing as the attacks continued to be hurled at Kin and realizing Kin had launched himself over the red beam when instantly front flipping over Tim's body.

And Tim blocked by lifting the sword when Kin stumbled behind Tim, landing on the concrete, spun, and then swung with his right arm, after Tim had already swept his left arm behind his back and knocked, throwing Kin to the side.

And then, realizing that Kin had already rushed in and attempted to slash Tim's chest, Tim's heavy sword blocked while Kin was in a crouch, rolling on the floor, spinning in a ninety-degree angle, and then quickly cutting with his sword from right to left, even seeing that Tim had defended and knocking Kin to the side.

Their close fighting dragged on for a while longer.

"I have no idea what to do with this!" Elliot grasped his brow, unable to conceive of a plan, and then saw Ayuka's dead body on the surface.

"Damn that fuckwit! I put my faith in him to keep her safe! Tim, you're a jerk!" Elliot was filled with anger and agony as he saw what he saw.

-

Elliot feared by focusing his gaze on the fight.

-

Kin had swept his sword forward, attempting to stroke Tim's throat, but Tim defended easily, throwing Kin backward and forcibly turning him around until Kin landed.

"You troglodyte!" Kin easily ruined the ground by throwing himself off the ground, at which point Tim quickly bent over and dashed off.

The two had teamed up to each other's front view.

When their blades clashed, creating a huge shockwave that knocked and demolished the earth in rage and devastation.

The walls fractured and smashed into bits as a result of the wind that had been summoned solely by their strength.

Tim vanished and reappeared in the same location after obliquely slashing his sword from left to right, making a huge wound in Kin's chest as Tim exchanged weapons to holding the blade and then suddenly grabbed Kin's neck when dashing forward with rage, leaving a massive crater in the floor.

Tim stretched his left arm and slammed him against the wall, flipping his body aside and beginning to slide Kin through the wall, which was sharp enough to slash Kin's back and clothing.

Tim swept his left arm and tossed Kin in the air while bending forward and pointing his horns and then shooting another Shodō until Kin's body twisted in the air and sliced his sword over the top of his head.

At that moment, the sword sliced through the red Shodō, protecting his body from being vaporized, but in response, several chains flew from either side, shocking Kin.

They flew forward and pierced Kin's body, piercing his arms, legs, face, stomach, knees, and feet - in the end, Kin's body was totally wounded and ravaged when bleeding and spouting blood.

Tim was about to destroy Kin when the red energy started to charge above and between Tim's horns as he prepared for another strike.

"You moron! Your slutty woman has been murdered solely because you had failed to defend her! Sure thing! Assassinate me! But you'll never be able to revive your bitch that route. I might as well have slaughtered her damn breasts and feasted on them! Go ahead and try! You moron, kill me! I challenge you!" Kin yelled, his voice turning into a huge wind pulse.

"Kill me right now!!!" But, just as the assault was about to be launched, yellow electricity swept through Tim's horns which were flung into the air as Elliot approached, tossing to the side of Tim's head, as it was obvious that Elliot was terrified of doing such a thing.

Elliot gulped, sweat pouring down his forehead, as Tim's assault came to a halt.

To be continued...
