[The Fiend Lord: Arc 18]

Once upon a time, on Planet Earth, a young girl was born; the story goes that her identity was never adequately clarified, but she was effectively known as the 'Holy Light.'

Her title depicted the real life of one's planet. Humankind did not know the Dimensions that had appeared alongside her birth, only of the Spirits that had been destroyed or disappeared.

The woman... The Holy Light, the heir of all the inhabitants, was not born alone. The arrival of the Demon God, whose name was Rez, caused anarchy, and humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Humans terrified him because of his recklessness and hunger for blood, and Demons started to manifest all over the Earth and The World of Zero, alongside alternate races such as The Inner Fiends, The Shades, Wraiths, and Spirits.

To combat the challenge, a new breed of people has awakened, the 'Spiritual Duelists' and 'Substitute-Duelists,' who have been dubbed the "First Army to Face Evil."

With their Legendary Weapons, the Ginken. This swarm of humans increased the world's cleanliness to the greatest extent possible, overwhelming the Demons of various grades and placing their survival at risk.

But, after several years of waiting, the 'Holy Light' gave birth to a human child, a girl of theoretically greater worth than Zero herself, but unlikely to become the next 'Holy Light,' their Goddess gave the girl to a friendly family, and since her mother needed to participate in protecting the divinity, the girl's memories were wiped.

But there is another royalty trapped within the shadows that have been concealed for millennia, even longer than the birth of a Demon...

The only one who has beaten the 'Holy Light's own is the Fiend Lord. Its lurkers will undoubtedly be wiped out, and the newfound foe will ready the battlefield...

An unnamed foe was responsible for Ayuka's murder. But the language they used, stealing a paramedic's body, appeared to have come from someone she knew in the past.

"Since you haven't picked me to love, I might as well repay you..."

The bullet was fired, and Ayuka's forehead was pierced as blood squirted.

Tim was known to have been trapped in a state of shock when recalling the past.

{"I promise I'll protect you."}

The vow, however, has now been broken. Tim has been given vain thoughts and a murdered lover, and the one he cared the most for the incident and the person he'd deleted the corruption has now been lying inside his arms, and the eyes that have been dead like a fish was presenting one's sorrow.

The rain that had been streaming down from the sky had washed away the blood, but it wasn't helping, and Tim's rage that he'd never expected to unleash had been hidden inside his head.

Is he really a human to whom people should entrust their safety, or is he a dreadful villain whom everybody wishes to kill...?

The paramedic grabbed the cap and pulled it forward.

"Wow, have a look at that. The woman who was supposed to marry me ended up with a dick like you... a person whose body could be erased in seconds... Seriously, the bitch has no idea how to choose a suitable lover!" When Kin's eyes flashed out, an army of enemies emerged behind the paramedic.

"Isn't it a real dread?" Kin laughed when it appeared that every firefighter and paramedic was a forgery, part of an army that served under Tsuneo's and Kin's orders.

"But look at that... the woman who couldn't choose the wealthy society now dies, in a really sad tale." Kin's eyes were filled with laughter and amusement, while Tim's eyes were filled with fear of his body's greatest danger and vulnerability.

Tim slowly twisted Ayuka's hand, but there was no movement; instead, he felt the sheer chill of her skin, as her heart was unable to pound.

"What, you've had your words erased, not just the one person you've loved? But... , have you truly loved her? Or was it just a need to feel important?" Kin grinned as the army grabbed their Ginkens, his eyes glowed blueish from the gecko of his words.

"...." With Tim's eyes unwilling to look away or let go of Ayuka, it has been observed that our Hero's tears slowly started to stream down his face, with caution. "Oh, you poor thing. He'ss weeping for the woman he loved and admired! That's such a romantic story, I must admit. But, of course, what good will crying do when someone dies? It's not like they'll be reborn like in a children's tale!" Kin pondered as his sword proceeded to cast a glimpse.

"... I've shattered..." His hands shook as he immediately changed the topic of what he was going to say. "...."

The silence was deafening. " How much can you provide? You're a really easy target to take down, particularly if you're bewitched." Tim, on the other hand, said nothing, his white hair instantly covering his damp eyes while remaining still.

"At the very least, I'll love killing you as much as the Goddess... And then, the next Holy Ligh, right? We're fortunate to have one more. But don't worry, the Holy Light herself will be extinguished the moment I'm done toying with you - you know what I mean? The easier the goal, the better the result."

He had used the same words in a quote.

Kin started to see Tim's emanating aura, but instead of sparkling pure white, it was as pitch dark as it could be.

"What are you talking about? Will you use a friend of yours to defeat me? Sorry, my dear friend, but that will not do..." Kin, on the other hand, started to think as if in panic.

("... This seems to be somewhat different from the 'Akusei' he used back then... W-What is this man trying to do?") Kin was perplexed, and a gulp of terror rolled down his throat.

Tim's human skin began to crack as the skin began to harden like a proper bone, but it wasn't perfectly a bone when his eyes immediately lost their white sclera and blue iris, instead, the sclera turned black while the irises awoke in pure yellow, while his hair began to lengthen and began to reach to the back of the hip, while the sword that he had in his hand began to lengthen and began to reach to the back of the hip and while Kin and the army stood back in surprise, the blade he carried suddenly turned into three cutters, at which point the blackness was visible.

"What in the HELL is this supposed to be?" Kin wondered with another gulp, as Tim's face completely transformed into Fiend, and the black aura suddenly circled his body and spread itself across the city.

{"If a human who has perfectly resurrected the 'Inner Fiend' succumbs to sheer regrets, grief, or fury, they will surrender their humanity, and the Fiend inside them will turn their body into invulnerability. However, the presumed invulnerability just gives rise to one flaw that we are also unaware of.."}

Elliot had just landed on the edge of the rooftop when he saw Tim and Ayuka's bodies.

"W-What the hell is going on-" The moment Elliot attempted to inquire, he realized that the army around them was not the actual support squad. "You have to be kidding me!" Elliot had totally forgotten about Ine, but as he looked away, he sensed a trigger and felt the bullet pierce into his right shoulder, causing his eyes to tremble from the impact.

"What a spectacle. Finally, something enjoyable." Elliot quickly reached for the hole in his right shoulder while breathing softly and suddenly faced back at the scene, instantly realizing that Ayuka had been wounded, which angered him in the process

"Don't tell me that... That fool let her get shot!" Elliot yelled furiously, his face contorted with fury. "I'm going to kill that bastard!" But, just as Elliot finished speaking, another trigger was heard, and he promptly made a wheel roll in the air before hopping aside and landing as soon as he was about to dash.

Just as soon as he tried, the other pistol fired, and his left leg was shot through the kneecap as his eyes shook violently. "Damn you!" Elliot fell onto his knee and was unable to use his Godspeed due to injuries to both his right arm and left leg.

When Ine pointed them ahead, he found the gun had been reloaded. "What? Have you devoted your time to your friends instead of to the enemy in front of you who's about to kill you??" Sighing, Ine wondered. Elliot's eyes flashed in terror as he felt two bullets pierce into his right kneecap as well as his left leg, at which point his body couldn't even kneel as he fell onto the floor, losing the sword that slid to the very edge of the rooftop.

Ine smiled as she took a step toward the fallen pistol.

"I'll kick it down just in case you're trying to snatch it. I don't want to rip it because then I won't be able to amuse myself by killing you!" The sword Elliot was holding was knocked off the rooftop as it mirrored the city's lights in the metal and then slipped into the back alley with it.

"What a lovely scene. Kin seems to be doing well at his work." Ine smiled as she spun both handguns and took a step toward Elliot, who was lying on the floor, staring at her, soon noticing how Ine crouched in front of him, her skirt waving in the wind.

"But, seriously. Do you believe I have the ability to murder your friend? Or, in fact. I think you'd be worth a high price if you were to sell... Now I'm at a loss about what to do... May I kill you or sell you for a fortune? Hmm... What a wonderful wonder." She thought for a moment and grinned.

"You filthy scumbag..." While Ine smiled, Elliot said. "Thank you for the congratulations, but seriously. I believe that making me wealthy is the best choice. You know, unlike you Spiritual Duelists, I am unable to earn money in such a short period of time... So, consider it. I would be paid if I sold a captured fish, but that is just an example. You're my fish here, and with the value of your body as well as the word, I'm going to get a lot of public opinions, I might improve my reputation, and then-"

However, when she said this, she observed a strong wave raging and dusting the air, distant away. "What?" She knew Tim's empathy had been unleashed and stood up straight as she backed away. "What really is going on? Great! I got swept up in the bastard's aura just when I was about to sell this asshole!" When she was turning around, Ine was about to quit.

"I'll come and get you later. Nobody will be able to find you up here on the roof!" However, just as she was about to jump, Elliot's mouth started to expel cold steam, and his eyes were expressionless and horrifying.

Ine immediately saw how electricity started to rise and emit zaps, and when she turned around, Elliot's body was above her, his weird eyes grasping her head.

"I apologize... But those wounds have no effect on me..." When the broken bones were heard, Elliot immediately turned Ine's head, and with a complete explosion, the blood squirted onto his forehead, once easily landing on the floor and causing Ine to drop down, successfully eliminating another opponent.

Elliot got to see what was actually going on as he turned to face the gap.

"Impossible..."

Tim's corpse, which had been taken over by a Fiend, remained motionless as Ayuka was holding. Suddenly, dark chains of red and black aura started to rise from around Tim and Ayuka's killed bodies, waving high into the air.

The world was not sterile at all, but it was packed with bodily ecstasy.

When those chains were holding Tim's limbs, one of them extended in the air, crashing through Ayuka and instantly cutting her through the chest into her heart, while wrapping the sacred chain around her heart and squeezing it, at which point an energy charge was transmitted through her heart thus causing the heart to beat again, at which point everyone was uncertain about the event.

Finally, Ayuka's pierced forehead was entirely removed, at which point Tim's restoration was shared with her body, totally expanding its healing when the chain of her heart dragged itself out and flung itself around Tim's body until horns appeared on either side of his head while Kin was scared.

"W-What the Hell is that?!?" Kin was perplexed as he stared at the creature or a beast in front of him.

Tim was unable to speak while Ayuka's 'lifeless' body lay on the cement, his mouth screeching maniacally into a growl of pitch fury.

"Don't tell me that..."

"This is the 'Fiend Lord'?!"

To be continued...
