[The Spiritual Core's warfare: Arc 19]

Once upon a time, on Planet Earth, a young girl was born; the story goes that her identity was never adequately clarified, but she was effectively known as the 'Holy Light.'

Her title depicted the real life of one's planet. Humankind did not know the Dimensions that had appeared alongside her birth, only of the Spirits that had been destroyed or disappeared.

The woman... The Holy Light, the heir of all the inhabitants, was not born alone. The arrival of the Demon God, whose name was Rez, caused anarchy, and humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Humans terrified him because of his recklessness and hunger for blood, and Demons started to manifest all over the Earth and The World of Zero, alongside alternate races such as The Inner Fiends, The Shades, Wraiths, and Spirits.

To combat the challenge, a new breed of people has awakened, the 'Spiritual Duelists' and 'Substitute-Duelists,' who have been dubbed the "First Army to Face Evil."

With their Legendary Weapons, the Ginken. This swarm of humans increased the world's cleanliness to the greatest extent possible, overwhelming the Demons of various grades and placing their survival at risk.

But, after several years of waiting, the 'Holy Light' gave birth to a human child, a girl of theoretically greater worth than Zero herself, but unlikely to become the next 'Holy Light,' their Goddess gave the girl to a friendly family, and since her mother needed to participate in protecting the divinity, the girl's memories were wiped.

But there is another royalty trapped within the shadows that have been concealed for millennia, even longer than the birth of a Demon...

The only one who has beaten the 'Holy Light's own is the Fiend Lord. Its lurkers will undoubtedly be wiped out, and the newfound foe will ready the battlefield...

Kylin continued to gaze at Codey's body, filled with fear and anxiety, as well as tension, and as his dreadful energy was unleashed, Kylin's eyes were trembling and sweating.

("... Even I couldn't see him... Don't tell me he awakened the Abyssal Energy, the Demon God?") Kylin squeezed her eyes as she noticed Codey's body standing up straight, terrified and frightened of his new appearance.

And the instant he did so, his gaze was shifted, and Kylin's body entered the terror zone.

"I understand you may be perplexed and concerned about me... But don't be concerned. I'm in command, Kylin." Codey's symbols gradually dissolved as he took a deep breath. "U-Um, ok..." Kylin gulped and attempted to figure out what was wrong with him.

"Kylin..... Tell me, how are Jessica and the others doing?"

- Hidomari City, Sunday, 1:43 pm -

Tsuneo stood in front of them, Ume, Jessica, and Eva weakened and unable to fight adequately.

"So... Is this truly how it ends? You've gone so far, yet you've accomplished nothing... I nearly wish I could laugh in your faces!" Tsuneo spoke, his brow furrowed. "Shut up, you dirty scumbag." Jessica sprang forward, pulling her greatsword behind her, and landed on top of Tsuneo, circled the greatsword, slamming it downward, but her body stopped in time when Tsuneo gently walked behind her.

"Don't be concerned. You will not feel any discomfort till I unfreeze." Tsuneo, on the other hand, proceeded to stiffen his knee as he elevated it and crashed into Jessica's stomach.

"This was the first time! Yes, more!" He smashed again and again, till her body couldn't breathe properly. "Have another one for good luck!" And finally, kneeling her stomach furthermore firmly, the time unfroze, and Jessica's eyes shook as she spit out saliva, and with it, she detected a hit into her stomach, before her body flew into the wall, breaking and disarming herself.

"Jessica!" While huddled on the floor, Eva was worriedly summoned. "Don't be concerned. There is still plenty for the two of you." Tsuneo planned to strike the instant he turned toward Eva and Ume. "But have a look at the positive side of things. You won't have to cope with your jobs once you've been dead." Tsuneo grinned as he pointed his right hand toward Ume and Eva with a smile and a lifted eye.

"Get out of here, fool!" It was immediately ready for the attack to be launched, but in an instant, the wall on the side broke, and Tsuneo's expression grew anxious. At that moment, Ume and Eva were astonished, and a hand gripped his face.

A powerful pulse burst from the top to the very bottom of the structure, once red light flared, as two bodies collided and one of them was shattered on the ground.

"I believe you're incorrect." Codey came to the rescue once more.

It was a rivalry, and it was assured when Tsuneo and Codey exchanged looks. A clash of the 'Gods.'

"Tsuneo? My loathing for you grew the instant you appeared evil, and the thoughts I experienced were all murderous..." Tsuneo, on the other side of the room, had a huge grin on his face.

"A God? So, after all these years, you've finally chosen to begin your journey to become the Demon God. And now, in front of me, stands a ferocious and pathetic guy, attempting to advance his obligations and get rid of me... I'm completely aware of your strength... But I, too, have matured."

"Isn't that sad? Believe me, you'll be the one who ends up attempting to be sympathetic. And do you understand why? Because I'll be the one you'll be terrified of!" A grin remained on Tsuneo's face as his gaze was drawn to Codey.

"We'll see!" Tsuneo immediately pointed both of his palms skyward before releasing a weird and powerful blast. Codey was launched through the several walled-off roofs and at the very top came smashing through it, once far up in the sky, with only a single hit and strike.

And, with his garments flapping in the wind and a neutral expression, Codey answered by halting his body in midair and releasing a catastrophic wind wave.

Tsuneo squatted at the bottom, and by blasting high in the air, he joined up on the same height as Codey, and the two Gods exchanged glances.

"Well, then... That doesn't seem to have done you any harm, does it? Don't worry, I have more power than that. This was all done to get rid of you!" Tsuneo smiled as he extended out with his right arm to the side, and a black hole appeared.

When Tsuneo swung his right arm in front of his face, a massive, lengthy, and golden claw attached itself to his right arm. "This weapon is termed as the 'Golden Disaster'by me. Isn't that a fairly cool nickname?" Nonetheless, Codey had no interests.

"You have a pretty nice Ginken, don't you? But it'll be much prettier once I've destroyed it." It was inevitable that they would fight when the boomerang flew from behind and was captured by Codey's right hand.

- Katorishi Codey, the Demon God's son, was a brave assassin who had spent most of his life on Planet Earth. He had been training to grow stronger, but after discovering his actual nature, he had spent many years practicing to become the next Demon God, also known as the Demon King.

- Sasaki Tsuneo, a younger child who had been trained for years and was the heir apparent to Time Shifting skills. His sister Ryoko had previously disputed his supremacy, but at the end, she was obliged to do so. And now that he's been dubbed the "next Time Shifter" and "God of the Afterlife," His nice personality had left his body, and he had gone on a rampage.

"It's difficult to demolish such Ginken as I've got. If you manage to dismantle it, I'll give you a standing ovation." However, the words he had spoken had entrenched the war.

The last fight of Codey, an Afterlife God, has been invented.

Codey vanished from the air in front of Tsuneo and bent his right leg behind his back before kicking forward, but Tsuneo kicked back and both of their legs clashed, causing a gigantic pulse to erupt and smash the walls of the buildings surrounding them.

Both of them pushed each other back by tensing their right and left fists, and with a tremendous punch forward, their fists collided, causing a gigantic tornado to spin around them and cause calamity.

Both of their arms were trembling as they pushed against one other.

"An experience I'll never forget!" Tsuneo smiled as he drew his arm back and spun away from the location, causing a tremendous shockwave to emerge behind Codey and swung forward with a bent knee, stretching his left left leg, attempting to hit Codey.

Codey stooped forward with his upper body once he had summoned red glowing wings and pointed both of his arms behind his back with full effort.

He sprinted and soared at breakneck speed, appearing in front of Tsuneo in less than a second, bent his right arm to the side, and fisted forward with full power at Tsuneo.

Tsuneo, on the other hand, moved to the side with his right leg and rotated his body sideways, feeling how Codey's arm flew behind his back, and then noted that Codey had bent his left knee, ready to drive it into Tsuneo's stomach, but ineffectual.

Tsuneo seized Codey's knee and bounced his big body near Codey's eye height, swung forward with his right leg bent, blasted Codey on the face, pushing him back, before halting the attack in a spin and landing.

Tsuneo's body vanished at that moment, and Codey's body was lost in a time freeze, a grey bubble after Tsuneo used his 'Chrono Dash' and swing by Codey's body, smashing him, and upon deactivating his Time Freezing, Codey's body felt pain but immediately backflipped and swiftly kicked with his right leg behind his back when smashing Tsuneo into the back, knocking him farther away.

Codey quickly made an invisible platform after stepping on it, running on it and jumping, flipping his body and raising his right leg above his head, and then swiping it downward.

Tsuneo, on the other hand, instantly raised both arms above his head, crossed them, and stopped the kick, and with the little energy he could muster, an entire cement block began to be flung around in the whirlwind as Codey observed Tsuneo punching.

But he avoided by diving, and by striking Tsuneo's right arm side, Codey instantly slammed his right arm into Tsuneo's jaw, knocking him high up in the air as Codey jumped behind him and above, grabbed Tsuneo's arm and twisting him around while flinging him into the air.

Tsuneo vanished at that instant, and Codey's body was swapped with his own as Tsuneo smiled and landed in mid-air, while Codey flew through the building, legs first, and quickly propelling himself back through the hole.

He blew aside all of the rubble from the shattered wall and soared directly back to Tsuneo's front.

Tsuneo gripped Codey's fist in his hand and then dragged him forward, striking Codey in the forehead. He then spun his leg, roundly kicking and tossing Codey back into the air, at which point Tsuneo aimed forward and fired grey blasts.

Codey was thrown from the air and adjusted his body before twisting both of his arms and rolling through the air, successfully dodging numerous blasts before the final one was going to reach him.

But by slamming his left hand forward, the explosion pushed away Codey's both shoulders, at which point he vanished and reappeared above Tsuneo, spinning and stomping on Tsuneo's leg and sending him plummeting down the bottom and into the road.

Codey swiftly lifted his right arm, summoning three crimson blasts that he swiped forward and launched.

Because these blasts were light, they were sharp and rapid, and they tortured the floor in a straight line, resulting in three tremendous explosions when the region froze in time.

Tsuneo suddenly emerged behind Codey and moved his left leg forward.

Tsuneo swung his leg behind him and smacked Codey in the head when his body was turned aside and facing its back.

When a major occurrence of the whirlwind extruded itself in the air, flinging the bricks and cement around, time unfroze and Codey's body went hurtling through the air, on the earth.

To be continued...
