Twin Detectives

Ashley and I helped Clint to get out of the that abandoned warehouse when he suddenly mentioned Lai out of nowhere. I saw his hands began to tremble, his eyes began to lose its focus and even his lips began to turn into purple. I don't know what happened with him, where did he get those bruises all over his arms and face, he looks like he was being dragged and beaten afterwards, but despite of those, he still managed to look for Lai.

"I need to find Nicholai." He just mumbled but I suddenly felt chills all over my spine. I got goosebumps on my forearms and even felt my head began to inflate.

"What do you mean?" I took all my courage to ask him.

"We must find her! We must save her!" Clint suddenly yelled. Ashley and I looked each other and gave each other a nod. We helped Clint up and we walk towards the training facility.
