"Crystal, just because everyone is against us doesn't mean its the end." Nylla said "Nylla, we don't even know where we are supposed to go? How do you expect me to know what is best? The only family I have ever known was Forest, Ray and mother," Crystal said.

Starmist looked out of the cave they were hiding in and said, "You have a point though, to tell you the truth it seems like this entire mess is a war between the dragon's elders and the kings."

Nylla looked at Starmist and asked, "what makes you think its a fight between them?" Starmist looked back at Nylla and said,

"You don't find it strange that humans don't really want to be around Crystal and on top of it usually there's some kind of evidence of a crime but in this case, we only have what the elders are saying. Not one of us was there when the incident happened," Starmist said.

"Word of mouth can be dangerous, you start with a story and soon everyone believes that story," Nylla said. "Then let's go and find the evidence and make the decisions our selves." Crystal said, "Where do we start then?" Nylla asked.

"It saves to say that this war started in the Golsend kingdom then affected Borus and Avalon but the dark dragons is coming from the kingdom of Girith with the support of its neighbour Kashmir.

That's what I heard in the village what two riders was saying outside the jail I was being kept in." Crystal said. "Then that means the kingdom of Avigalla is neutral and not affected yet so if there's a problem maybe it's best if we inform the mystical council of everything," Nylla said.

"If I remember correctly there is a dragon elder and a dragon rider elder on the mystical council they might be able to explain things or at least help make the decision easier," Starmist said.

"Yes and maybe someone on the council will know how I can find my father." Crystal said, "Then its decided were heading for the kingdom of Avigalla to meet with the mystical council," Nylla said.

"Starmist how do we find the council," Starmist who was still looking at her companions said, it's said only the king of Avigalla knows how to find them and that means heading towards the capital."

Crystal took a deep breath and got out her map. "Starmist can we have a little light please?" Crystal asked. Starmist illuminated her horn and together the group came up with a plan.

"I think since they saw us flying towards the kingdom of Golsend we can fool them into believing that we went to claim the crown and use that as cover to make a trip to Avigalla unnoticed but I think once there we will have to come up with a disguise of some sort. If we can stay hidden until we see the council I think they might be able to help," Crystal said.

"That means Nylla and I will have to stay hidden most of the time." Starmist said, "it's for the best, you saw what happened to Forest and Rose, I don't what to lose you to I cant loos you as well you're my family now." Crystal said.

"Very well, let's hope for the best," Starmist said. The next morning Crystal mounted Nylla and together they set off to find the kingdom of Avigalla.

Nylla made sure she was invisible when she exit the storm and headed up the coastline. That night Nylla landed on a beach that looked deserted and Crystal immediately let Starmist out.

"Starmist do you think we are in Avigalla yet?" Crystal asked, "I don't know but ill go and take a look around." Starmist took off to take a look around and soon returned and said, "yes it seems we have crossed the border."

Crystal got out her hooded coat the next morning and covered herself up. She also let both Nylla and Starmist into the rider bracelet. Crystal found she walked as far as she could every day and while she slept at night Nylla and Starmist stood guard.

Crystal did her best to fool everyone into thinking that she was still at the kingdom of Golsend and discovered as soon as she found a village that her plan had worked and shared the good news with her companions.

"The plan worked, we fooled them they think we're at the Golsend kingdom already." Crystal said Starmist looked around the camp and said, "now that we fooled them into thinking that we're headed to the kingdom of Golsend lets head for the capital.

The group started to travel to the capital and soon they found them selfs in front of the capitals gates. Crystal found herself admiring the castle and soon found herself in front of the castle.

Once inside it was an elder dragon that approached Crystal. "You have come a long way and fooled many people into believing that you went to the kingdom of Golsend."

Then Crystal removed her hooded jacket and said, "I didn't know what else to do, they captured Forest the king of Borus has a price on my head and well I don't know what to do I don't even know where the resistance is or who my father is. When they took Forest they took the only elder that knew both my parents. I know this war is about me but what I don't know is why? and what am I suppose to do?" Crystal asked..

Nylla came out of the rider bracelet and asked, "forgive me elder but there seems to be a lot of word of mouth and not that much evidence. What is your opinion on what is going on?" Starmist appeared and said, "the council elder Mira revealed that maybe there more to the war then we think." Starmist said "so they have talked to you already, I take it if you are here; your not sure what to do then?" the elder dragon asked.

"yes elder, there is a lot of word of mouth and people that want to kill me and hunt me but not that many willing to help. It would help if they can explain what they expect of me or show us some evidence but nothing. Do you know what happened when the kingdom of Golsend fell were you a witness to the events?" Crystal asked.

The elder looked around and noticed the crowd that has gathered and replied, "I am no witness to the events concerning Golsend but if what you are saying is true it seems the matter will need to be investigated so that the right decisions can be made.

"Zion, what's the meaning of this?" a man asked. Crystal looked at the man and noticed his crown and realised this might be the king and replied, "good day your highness I am Crystal and I am a dual rider this is my dragon Nylla and my alicorn Starmist and I have come here to see if it was possible to talk to the mystical council.

Things happened and now I am not sure what to do so I was hoping I could ask them for advice?" Crystal said. "Zion," the king asked. "She speaks the truth, sir, there seems to be a lot of word of mouth going around and no real evidence" Zion the elder answered.

"I was told my father is with the resistance but I don't know how to find them and many of the dragon riders I have encountered have become traitor's the group that was supposed to help me deliver a message to my father abandoned me and I ended up at the Borus kingdom palace where they announced me as a criminal. The only option was to go the kingdom of Golsend but then we got the idea to see what the council thinks we should do I mean I don't want to go to the palace if something bad might happen," Crystal said

"Who are your parents?" the king asked. "It's my understading that my mother is Princess Jolena Savera and my father is Prince Allan Rosetti but Forest knew most of our family's secrets without him I don't know if I can find my father to deliver this message from the council." Crystal showed the message to the king.

The king looked at Crystal and asked, "how old are you?" Crystal tried to ignore the group of people staring and replied, "seventeen and there's one thing I know Forest told me that might be a problem," Crystal said.

"What's that then?" the king asked, "Forest didn't tell me much about my parents but he did say that the king of Avalon banished my father and the other dragon riders before my mother could tell my father that she was pregnant, my dad doesn't know about me."

The king looked shocked at Crystal and asked, "can I see your rider tattoo?" Crystal showed the king her rider tattoo and said, "They thought it was a criminal and was locked up in a jail cell for seven years after my mom was forced to stay at the palace.

I have only been free for a few months now and soon it will be my birthday, then a month after my birthday will make it a year of freedom for me." Crystal said. The king studied Crystal futures and said, "you look just like your father, guard see to it that both the dragon and alicorn have stables ready and please show my granddaughter to one of the royal bedrooms in the palace.

She will be staying with us from now on." Crystal couldn't believe her eyes and asked, "Grandpa are you sure?" the king looked at Crytal and said, "Yes, no granddaughter of mine is going to fight a war just because others say so if the council is convinced more is going on then it will be investigated as for your father, well we are expecting him to arrive soon."
