CHAPTER – EIGHTEEN

At last they had to go upstairs. He himself went to the next room, called us and said, ' Hmm.. I don't see anything here. Where is Mr. Robert and where is his body? ' he asked.

They couldn't say anything, hence, they kept silent.

He asked again , ' why are you here? '

As Brown started telling the purpose of their visit, the servant came to collect the cups.

When he was returning, pointing at him Henry started shouting, 'Oh my God! Guys... look at him he has no legs he's not walking, he is actually floating. Let's get out of here, we are going to be trapped '.

They all jumped up and when they glanced at the professor, they found him sitting, but they were horrified to see his skull instead of his face.

They all ran down and came to their cars. They looked up and saw that the rooms were totally dark.

'It's again a haunted house, I am 100% sure'. Henry repeated twice.

They left the place and after driving about two kilometres, stopped in front of a cafe. It was 9:30 p.m.

Two or three persons were having tea.

When they all got out the manager looked at them and said, ' Sir why are you all sweating so much? The climate is quite chill. What is the matter? '.

Henry said, 'We went to meet somebody at the next village, but we had a horrible experience'.

' I understand.... you went to the house of Prof. Robert who is a ghost now. He was murdered 10 years ago.

His wife had left him soon after the marriage. He has no children. Since his marriage he had been living with his servant. Surprisingly, he had been murdered by the same servant.

It is a rumour that the servant had also been mysteriously murdered by somebody. Then the house was looted.

Since then it is an abandoned house.'
