CHAPTER 9#

Suddenly, a human figure appeared at the threshold, he started coming and came and stood near the wall of the room. Both were trembling in fear and were speechless. They were holding the blankets tightly, as if it were their sole refugee or to place hide.

They simply did not have the guts either to move away from there or even call their other friend who was sleeping undisturbed. Suddenly a light shone from the wall and the man started moving his finger.

Both Bright and Pamela looked at the wall and observed that some letters appeared on the wall.

' DON'T BE AFRAID. I SHALL NOT HARM YOU. YOU ARE NOT MY KILLER, THE MONEY LENDER IS. I HAVE A DIARY IN MY HOUSE. IT'S IN MY STORE ROOM. COLLECT IT AND HAND IT OVER TO THE POLICE. '

After these words were finished, the man disappeared within 2 minutes with a poof.

Bright realized that the Ghost was no one but the spirit of dead Robin. He was happy after reading Robin's statement. He felt relieved that his problem was finally over.

Somewhere in his heart, he always had felt guilty for Robin's death, because he wouldn't have shouted at any older person and also if he knew that the person was sick.

It was purely bad luck, that day. Had he not got the bad news about his missing assignment, he wouldn't have been in a bad mood. Finally, he thanked Pamela for her support.

Next morning he went to Robin's house, as instructed and spoke to his wife. Robin's wife was enraged at seeing him. She was about to yell at him, but Bright stopped her saying he had something to say about Robin, so she stopped.

He then explained every thing to her, that had happened on the previous night and she started crying after listening to him. She handed over the diary to him. He straight went to the police station and handed it to the stationincharge.

Meanwhile, Jack was going through a very bad time. He was forced to sell his house, and he started staying in a very small house, because he had no income to pay for a bigger house.

The road accident made him totally handicapped and it was detected after some time that right side of his waist was also seriously hurt.

It was swelling and causing acute pain which he was unable to bear. So again he had to be hospitalized. Ultimately, a large amount of money had to be spent on the treatment.

The financial crisis became so severe that his daughters had to discontinue their education. So, the responsibility of running the family fell on his wife. She started blaming her husband for such a predicament of the family.

She said " Look what you did now. Your ways were barbaric and extremely cruel. Your all men also were like you. They mentally tortured, misbehaved with men and women.

What was the necessity of cheating Robin. He was a simple innocent human being. What not your people did with him. I had tried to stop you so many times, but you always refused to hear my warnings. Your men even sexually harrassed a little girl there. How could he have paid interest on the extra amount from his small shop, and finally you pushed that innocent person towards his death.

YOU were the one who killed him Jack and now his ghost brought you on the road. He has brought us to the state in which he was....when you gave him the burden of paying interest on the extra amount."
