Marines catch Nami

After making things clear with Caroline, Eragon rented the entire hotel's upper floor for themselves. When the sisters came back that night, each of them got a room to themselves, while Eragon also took a room for himself. He didn't want to stay at Caroline's or Nami's room so the other women won't get jealous, knowing that even if they agreed to date him together, neither of the women is happy about it…

When Nojiko found out Eragon is sleeping with Caroline and Nami at the same time, she was genuinely shocked. Eragon still remembered how she didn't stop asking Nami questions before she finally calmed down.

In that manner, days passed and two weeks went by.

"Eragon stop training, you promised you will hang out with us today.." Opening the door to his room, Nami walked inside and said while pouting.

Opening his eyes he could see Nami staring at him in grievance with Caroline standing behind her giggling.

"Well.. I did say that" Standing up, Eragon quickly got dressed and left with the two women. For the past two weeks, he stayed in his room during the day to train with his clones while at night he will alternatively sleep with Caroline and Nami, but never together. He thought it will be wise to give them some time to adjust to the situation before he progresses to the next step in their relationship, threesome. And just as he hoped, in the last week the two women got closer together, Caroline and Nami seemed to have accepted the situation they were in and started to open up to each other.

"You stay in your room to train all day and only come out at night, it's not healthy!" Walking on the street, Nami was hugging Eragon's left arm to her chest while she reprimands him.

"She's right you know… you need to relax sometimes" Copying Nami, Caroline also hugged his right hand while she nodded her head in agreement.

"Ain't I relaxing right now?" He was pleased to see the two women in agreement with one another, even though it was against him "Besides, what we do at night is enough for me" Walking on the street with two women hugging him from both sides made him feel gratified, and watching the passerby's people reactions was quite funny. The woman will raise their eyebrows in surprise while the males gave him hostile looks, apparently quite jealous.

It wasn't long before Eragon's arms started to get filled with bags the girls bought. Lamenting he couldn't help but comment "Now I understand why you insisted on taking me along, you just needed someone to carry your stuff…"

"Hehehe" Watching Eragon helplessly walking after them with his hands filled to the brim with bags, the two women giggled "Don't worry, we only have four more shops to go" Giving him an apologetic look, Caroline informed him when his suffering will end.

'At least Caroline has some mercy on me…' Accepting his fate, Eragon knows he mustn't complain. it's true he doesn't spend time with them during the day which made him apologetic in heart. The sight of the two beautiful women running from one shop to another in happiness, made him satisfied 'At least the two of them seem to have fun'

"Humph humph" Suddenly, a young marine could be seen running in their direction and when he noticed Eragon he stopped in front of him.

"Mmm? You need something?" Guessing the marine came for him, Eragon asked.

"Yes sir, Commander James requests to meet with you, he says it's urgent" When he finally regulated his breath, the youth saluted and made his report.

Noticing the marine and Eragon talking, Caroline and Nami stop what they were doing and came to listen.

"James? Did he say why?" Eragon was quite surprised, this was the first time James has asked him to come to meet him. Usually, he just comes himself.

Shaking his head the young marine sneaked a few glances at the two beautiful woman standing next to Eragon "No sir, he just said it was important"

"I see…" Turning his head, he saw Caroline and Nami nodding at him.

"If he says it's urgent then you need to go" With a concerned look Caroline couldn't help but worry something happened.

"Sigh, just go, we're almost finished anyway… but you need to take the bags to the hotel before you leave!" Nami however, was not thrilled they were interrupted.

"Thanks, I will make it up to you… I promise. kiss kiss" Giving each of them a kiss on the lips, he turned and said to the marine "It will be faster if I move on my own"

Circulating his chakra, Eragon used 'Body Flicker Technique' to move extremely fast. So fast that in fact, the observing people thought he teleported.

The person leading the group had the appearance of a rat, having whiskers and rat ears attached to his marine cap.

"Heheh don't you think he looks funny?" The two women stopped walking while Nami pointed her finger and said to Caroline while laughing.

"Pfff that's not a nice thing to say.." Putting her hand on her mouth, Caroline did her best not to laugh.

"Mmmn? tch" Noticing the two women standing and laughing seemingly at him, the rat person clicked his tongue and was about to continue walking past them until he suddenly noticed Nami's tattoo and stopped.

"That tattoo… she's part of Arlong's pirates?" To Nami's horror, the rat person took out his gun and pointed in her direction.

'I can't let anyone know about my dealings with Arlong, and since he's dead I must make sure all there are no loose ends' The rat person was Captain Nezumi of the 16th Branch at East Blue. He was the person who covered all of Arlong's deeds in the past years in exchange for bribes. When he found out Arlong pirates were dead, he immediately investigated to find out what happened. It was only recently he managed to discover that Pirate Hunter Eragon Devil something killed him. And now, on his way back from a meeting he finds one of Arlong's crew on the street.

*BANG*

"Look out!!" Seeing the gun pointed at her, Nami's eyes opened in fright and her body turned stiff from shock. She only came back to her senses when Caroline pushed her out of the way.

"Caroline!" Standing up from the ground she ran towards Caroline, to her dismay she found her laying down, bleeding. Frightened, Nami turned her on her back to discover a bullet hole on Caroline's chest squirting blood.

"Cough N..Nami, run!" Grabbing Nami's hand, Caroline mustered all the strength she could and pushed her away, urging her to escape.

"W..Why?? Why do you do this??" Falling down again, Nami turned her head to look at Nezumi furiously, demanding to know why he shot them.

"Huh? Your friend saved you? No matter, she must be a pirate as well, I will just dispose of you both" Pointing his gun at Nami again, Nezumi was just about to shoot her when Nami screamed.

"Wait!! I can give you money! a lot of money!" Frightened, Nami crawled backward while screaming whatever came up to her mind, she could only think of this method in order to buy some time to think about what to do.

"Money? why would you have a lot of money?" Frowning, Nezumi wasn't quite convinced, he didn't lower his gun.

"I..I know where Arlong hides his money I can take you there! Just don't kill my friend" Noticing Nezumi didn't shoot her yet, Nami inferred her plan worked. She immediately suggested she will take him to where she hid the money.

"Mmm what should I do?" Nezumi was conflicted, he couldn't decide whether to shoot her or have Nami take him to where she hid the money. Eventually his greed he won "Alright, but if you lie to me I will return and kill your friend heheh. Men! take her to the ship" Putting his gun away, Nezumi laughed heavily as he ordered his subordinates to bring Nami to his ship.

"What's happening? I heard gunshots"

"A marine found a pirate walking on the street and shot her!"

"What?! How could a pirate enter the city? Luckily she was caught.."

The surrounding people whispered with one another as they watched Nami being dragged away.

"N..Nami…" With the last of her strength, Caroline mumbled before she passed out on the street.

Meanwhile, Eragon just entered James's office, completely unaware of what just transpired.
