I held the dress tightly, Lunafreya zipping it for me, then I smiled as she grabbed my hair, adjusting it and finishing my look.
"There you are, bride to be." She said and I smiled as the door opened.
"Ladies?" I turned to my dad then saw tears in his eyes as he saw me.
"My sweet Sorrentina." He whispered then Crowe laughed as she, Cindy, and Iris stood in their white bridesmaid dresses, though Crowe's was more intricately designed because she was my maid of honor.
"Thanks, dad." I smiled then he cleared his throat, pulling at his black suit.
"Are you ready?" I nodded then he came over and escorted me out, the girls behind me as we met with Prompto, Libertus, Gladio, and Ignis.
"Holy Astrals." Prompto breathed as he saw me and I smiled, though the guys staring was a bit unnerving.
"God damn." Libs said and I laughed, smoothing out my dress.
"This isn't-"
"You look like a goddess." Gladio said and I cleared my throat, looking at the doors to the throne room where the wedding was being held.
"Are you nervous?" I looked at Ignis and nodded.
"Just don't like being center attention, that's all." I said and he nodded.
"I will not be afraid to chase you down if you run." Gladio warned and I laughed as Crowe hugged my arm.
"Nah, she won't run." She said and I smiled.
"I'm done running, but I've never run from Nyx." I said then heard the music start.
"We're on." Gladio said and Iris went to him, then Ignis and Lunafreya followed, Prompto and Cindy, and finally, Libs and Crowe.
"Sorrentina, there's something I need-" Dad stopped then shook his head.
"No, don't worry about it." He said, but I smiled.
"I know you're sick, dad, I know that you're dying. Nyx saw it when you came to the party, he told me because he didn't know if you would. I'm right here with you though, I promise." I said and he smiled, then the wedding march started.
"Ready?" I asked and he nodded.
"You're just as beautiful as your mother was." He said then I smiled as the doors opened, and I saw Nyx at the end in a nice, crisp black tux with a blue tie. His hair was styled as always, but it seemed all the elite in the city were here, though I noticed some of the immigrant friends we had also here. While we walked, I noticed cameras on me and mentally cursed, but Nyx was a captain of the Glaive, so I expected some media. As we got to Nyx, I looked at my dad and softly kissed his cheek, hugging him tightly.
"Don't ever be afraid to tell me things, dad." I whispered then let go and Nyx took my hand as I stepped in front of him at the base of the throne room grand stairs. The royal priest was also here, with Regis watching from his throne with Noctis standing next to him.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..." The priest said, but I went to autopilot as I stared at Nyx, who was smiling at me. This is the man I love, the man who would risk everything for me, and yet, I'm just an antiquities dealer.

I laughed as he twirled me, hugging me close and laying his head on mine.
"I love you, Sorren." He whispered and I nodded, hugging his neck.
"I love you too, Nyx."
"May I cut in?" I looked at my dad then Nyx stepped back and bowed.
"Of course." He said then went to sit as I hugged my dad's neck, though he held my waist and smiled.
"The day I married your mother, she looked like a goddess. Then we had you and I was the happiest man on earth. Though, your grandmother hated me and drove us apart, Sorren." He said and I gripped his jacket tightly as I understood.
"So-so grandmother really did drive you apart? Mom said she thought something wasn't right with how you suddenly changed, but she never said anything to grandmother." I said and he nodded, twirling me and pulling me close.
"Then I heard of a young antiquities dealer here in Insomnia who had exposed a traitor, and your name wasn't mentioned, but I somehow knew that this was you. Even when you were little, your mother told me how you loved old things and obsessed with knowing all you could about them." He said and I felt my brow drop as I smiled at him.
"You talked to my mom when I was little?" I asked and he nodded, reaching up and brushing some hair off my face.
"I was always keeping tabs on you if I could, Sorren." He said then I smiled as I slid my hands to his arms.
"Well, dad, I'm glad you're here." I said and he leaned closer, making me tense.
"The oracle healed me, Sorren, I'm not dying anymore." He whispered and I stared at him, but he nodded and I hugged his neck tightly, damn near crying.
"I'm staying here with you for a long time, Sorren." He said and I laughed, though he let me go and I looked at Nyx.
"That man loves you, Sorrentina, don't ever leave him." I looked at my dad and nodded as he left, letting me go to Nyx.
"What was that?" He asked, but I shrugged.
"I just owe Lunafreya one." I said and he nodded, grabbing my hand and kissing it.
"Nyx, I wanna dance with you again." I said and he laughed, nodding as we went to the dancefloor, though everyone was watching us as it became the couple's dance.
"You like dancing this much?" He asked, but I shook my head.
"I like dancing with you this much, Nyx." I said then slid my fingers into his hair.
"I love you more than anything in the world, Nyx, you know that, right?" I asked and he nodded.
"Of course I do, Sorrentina." I nodded then pulled him down, whispering in his ear.
"I'm pregnant."
