Chapter 55: The Gaining of Familiars

"Wilma, are they mates but still not speaking to each other about it?" Gwen turned to ask Wilma about the mate thing.

"You tell me, Sabina, you can see the flow of the fallen creatures which also indicates that you can see who's there mates." Wilma smirked as she didn't give any answer to her question.

"Ahh…that's why those memories came on flooding around the orb. Its huge and its getting bigger. I wonder now, if they couldn't hold it anymore." She nodded as she finally understood their connection and wondered at the same time about something.

"Don't think about it, Sabina, you already had your example between you and Slavica." Wilma grinned and teased Gwen.

"WILMA!" Gwen instantly blushed and shouted at her. She even began on chasing one of the founders around the cafeteria. It cause some laughters and some fascination because they never saw any of the founders to have their chill time around their presence. They were all serious and busy with their tasks as founders.

"Gotcha." Wilma laughed.

"YOU OWE ME ICE CREAM!" Gwen shouted as she stopped from running and pouted beside Slavica again.

"Fine, go to the counter, I'll pay for it." Wilma shook her head but let Gwen win for now.

"YESSS!!!" Gwen acted like a chicled and run to the counter to pick her ice cream.

As the incident in the cafeteria finished, Gwen and the rest of the gang were being summoned to Mina's office which all of the founders were presence inside the office. There was some tension because nobody was trying to break the silence as soon as they arrived the office until Gwen suddenly sneezed.

"Sorry, why we're all here anyway?" Gwen asked to break the silence around the office after her sneeze.

"Salvica, your plan for the cases that I've handed to you." Mina smiled and turned seriously at Slavica.

"About that, I decided to let Yui and Tucker handle the scouting of the selectec area for DIP's expansion while Irina will deal with Ciel Nocturne and Singarti status." Slavica gave Mina her planned around her team.

"And when they will be deployed?" Jefferson was the one who asked.

"As soon as everything was collected and set." Slavica answered firmly.

"Good and how about you two?" Nejin wondered.

"We're going to analyzed their reports to make quick changes in the plan in case something came up." Gwen was the one who answer for her lover.

"Plus, Gwen - I mean, Sabina was still in Wilma's taming training which I think it will be done before we're go on searching for the new team." Slavica added which Mina sensed that the two of them made this plan together.

"Since it was already divided and well thought already, I have no comment regarding the assigned task to you. But Sabina, make sure to exceed more. Not for us but for yourself to the chosen field of yours." Mina said but she turned seriously at Gwen and reminded her about exceeding her old limitations for her own benefit and good

"I will, Mina and thanks for that encouragement. I needed them." Gwen thanked Mina since she really needed some encouragement to what she was facing in her life.

"Anything to add, founders?" Mina turned her attention to the other founders inside the office but none of them was speaking anymore. Mina took that as their answer even though she got the feeling that Wilma will do something for Gwen and Slavica later.

"Okay, you're all dismiss and make sure to keep us posted when you're out there." Mina dismissed the star elite team.

"We will." Slavica said as all of them stood up from their seats and respectfully bowed a them before leaving the office.

As they were all walking at the hall, Slavica began on explaining to Yui and Tucker their assigned task which they needed to be prepare in case something suddenly came up on their scouting. She even added a careful warning to Irina since her task was a bit difficult than the rest of them.

"Can I have some back ups in case, something I can't handle things anymore?" Irina asked while they were reaching their respected rooms.

"Sure, call us or these two. We'll come rushing to your side then." Slavica smiled as she nodded to the request of her teammate.

"Okay that will do." Irina nodded.

"Be careful, Irina." Gwen reminded her which made Irina to pull her into her arms.

"Don't worry, I won't do something illegal in their land since I'm representing DIP." Irina chuckled that made Gwen feel lightened to what she told her.

"Be in the shadow for the meantime, Irina." Slavica reminded her.

"I will." she nodded.

"Okay, let's go and prepare our things before we can start them tomorrow." Yui clapped her hands and she and Tucker went inside their respective room.

"Irina?" Slavica asked.

"I'll make some contacts first and let my minions do something for me before I could leave the quarters." Irina put out her phone and started to dial some numbers to contact with.

"Good plan." She smiled at her plan.

"Vica, Sabina. Come with me." Wilma suddenly appeared and called them.

"Okay…" Slavica only managed to say.

"See you whenever." Gwen waved her hand to Irina.

"Yeah, good luck on your training." Irina wished her luck before heading to her room.

"Thanks." she responded then Slavica took her hand and went on following Wilma toward her created realm again.

At the created realm of Wilma, Gwen, and Slavica looked around to see if there was something they were suddenly needed by the creator of the realm itself.

"I know you've been wondering why I call you here when you're about to prepare something for your task…" Wilma started while they were walking toward the orb racks.

"Then tell us about it." Gwen noticed the sudden growth from the last time she saw them. Before they were just like marbles and now they looked the same size as her hand.

"Noticed your orbs' changes? Look at them, some of them were ready and some were still in the middle of their evolution." Wilma noticed Gwen staring at the racks which made her smile and let them know what was happening there.

"They were evolving inside the orbs?" Slavica wondered since she never had witnessed an evolution of orbs before.

"Yes, and once the orbs were smashed by the creature or person who was holding it will be able to possess that familiar." Wilma answered and briefly explained to them how it works.

"So these orbs will be in a familiar form." Gwen nodded as she took note inside her mind about it.

"Yes and they could help you around since they don't belong to anyone yet but you, Sabina." She was grinning to her and Gwen wondered about it.

"Which among them were about to hatch?" she asked since she was not sure how can she tell the difference because their sizes were all the same.

"I can't tell but you can." Wilma said.

"How?" she still wondered.

"Close your eyes and feel them since you're the one who pulled them out of their misery. You saved them. Only you can tell about their difference." Wilma instructed and let Gwen feel the energy coming from the orbs.

Gwen nodded and she started concentrating on sensing the orbs that she have saved before. In her deep concentration, she began to see some sparks in the darkness and the more the sparks began flowing through her, she could see it clearly. She opened her eyes and started smiling.

"There you are." Gwen smiled as she went closer to the two glowing orbs through her eyes.

She went jumping and when her hand touched them, she could feel the warmness and heartbeat coming from it. Her eyes shine like Christmas carols and she looked over Slavica who smile at how beautiful she was.

"Come. feel them." Gwen called Slavica who didn't hesitate and went closer to her lover before doing what she has been asked.

"Wow, they're alive." Slavica was totally amazed and it seems it was responding to her touches.

"Handed it to her, Sabina." Wilma noticed it and ushered Gwen to let Slavica hold them.

"Are you sure?" Slavica wondered.

"We'll see something. Just go on and hold them." Wilma smiled and assured her about something to find.

When Slavica managed to hold the two orbs altogether, they began glowing bright and the color of the neutral glow turned yellowish gold and white.

"It seems to me, it chooses you as their master." Wilma chuckled as she patted Slavica's shoulder.

"Huh? That quick?" Slavica was totally surprised by what she just heard.

"Every familiar could feel it the person or creature was their rightful master for their power and I think it will help you somewhere in the near future." Wilma explained and Gwen was grinning proudly at her.

"Then what should I do about it?" she wondered.

"Smashed it when you really needed their help." Wilma answered.

"Can I do it here?" she still wondered since she wanted to see for herself what her familiars would look like.

"Do you want to see their form?" Wilma wanted to make sure if that's what Slavica wants.

"Yes, since I wanted to know what to call them." Slavica nodded and even stated her reason for doing it.

"Suit yourself but do it on the field. You don't want to disturb the other orbs around here." Wilma nodded and pointed the open field to that.

Slavica went to the field like an excited kid who just got their early Christmas presents. Gwen chuckled at how cute her lover acted but at the same time, she also wondered what her familiars would look like.

"Alright, smashed it with the right force." Wilma shouted since Slavica was in right distance away from them. She was in the center of the open field and nodded when she heard it.

"Okay, here we go." Slavica muttered to herself after she took a deep breath and she both smashed the two glowing orbs that she was holding on the earthly ground.

When the two glowing orbs were being smashed on the earthly ground, there was a very thick fog around the Slavica's area. She could feel some electric sparks around before she began to hear some electric shock zap swirling around her. Then from the thick mist and electric sparks around her, it began to take form and showed itself to her.

"Wow…" Slavica only managed to mutter when she saw a bluish-white creature in a horse form.

As it was already taken formed another one came out and it was emitting warmness and light. Then it revealed itself beside the bluish-white horse and it was a woman figure with white clothing and golden hair that could be compared to a sun.

"Woah, seeing you both it made me feel like your mates…" Slavica said when she saw how the white lady with golden hair stood beside the bluish-white horse.

'We are mates, mistress.'

'Name us.'

"Hmm, Zeph for you since you looked like a stallion horse to me and for you, hmm…how about Chiara, do you like it?" Slavica decided what name for her own two familiars.

'Yes, mistress.'

'We both love it, mistress.'

When they were done naming, the two familiars began to have shackles tattooed on their skin to prove that they were their familiars. Slavica might not like that but there was nothing can do about it between a familiar and its master.

Anyway, as their binding contract between familiar and master was already shown on their skins, Gwen and Wilma came closer to them. Slavica's familiars were warry about Wilma's presence and stand guarded around Gwen and their master.

"Hush, she's a tamer and my mentor." Gwen calmed them and they did which made Wilma wonder how can she still affects them when they already had their master to follow.

"How come you followed her instead your master?" Wilma wondered since she hasn't encountered any familiar act like that before.

'She's our tamer and the mate of our mistress.'

"Ahh, I see. Seems to me I've discovered something new around the familiars." She chuckled at what she just discovered and she was right about recruiting Gwen to join their team. She will help the DIP organization to grow.

"Wilma." Gwen sensed something from Wilma and warned her.

"What? Generation was shifting and familiars to evolves alongside their masters if their master went dark and they were from light, what do you think will happen to light familiars? They were going havoc or they were going to be treated badly. Remember that, Slavica. They're in your care while they serve you." Wilma defended but went serious when she informed them what she'd learned from the others who had their familiars once. She was glad that she made it in time and managed to save those familiars and the reason for her to create a realm for their rest and recovery.

"I will." Slavica nodded while smiling and petting the bluish-white horse that she named Zeph.

"But what are their powers?" Gwen wondered.

"Hmm, based on what I could see around them, Zeph could manipulate the fog or mist as well as lightning or electricity. Am I right, Zeph?" Slavica answered as she studied her two familiars who were just listening to them.

'Yes, mistress, and Chiara has the power of warmness and light'

"Oh, just like what you can do, my love." Gwen smiled and Chiara blushed too making her golden hair glow a little bit.

"Is that the reason why you reacted because of my ability?" Slavica turned to ask her familiars.

'It has an effect but more on the soul and energy of the creature, mistress.'

"I see, you can roam around here and meet new friends. I will train myself first before we could test your ability along with my combat." Slavica nodded in understanding before she let them have their free time around the created realm since she need to train herself to wield their powers correctly.

'Yes, mistress.'
