Chapter 54: The Taming Side of Gwen

Noises of rushing DIP members from the cafeteria rush back to their designated posts due to what they've suddenly sensed around the DIP quarters. But Slavica's team was not moving from their spot and just enjoying their food while there was some erupted laughter. Due to that laughter that Tucker couldn't contain, it caught the others' attention. Obviously, they were irritated by them.

"Why not go back to your post? There's an alarm, Slavica." one of the DIP members and the lady who had a crush on Slavica asked.

"I could hear them clearly." Slavica just answered with her usual cold voice.

"Then why not go back to your post?" another lady spoke but in an irritated manner which made Gwen's ears to twitched. She started sensing the difference between the lady who speaks.

"We're not needed." Irina just answered while she was enjoying her dessert. She's savoring them.

"You're just being full of yourself because you're an elite…" the same lady with an irritated manner spoke.

"Hey." her teammate who had a crush on Slavica tried to stop her colleague.

"...And you, you're just recruited and you acted like you're already one of the elite." the other irritated lady spoke directly to Gwen who was quietly eating her meal. Savoring them as well.

"She's one of the star elite and a member of the team as well as my partner." Slavica started and the lady who had a crush on her looked surprised.

"Partner?" she wondered.

"Yes, Sabina, is my partner." Slavica smiled as she looked at Gwen and held her hand. Gwen smiled back and returned the hold that Slavica gave to her.

"Is that your new name here?" Tucker asked for confirmation from Gwen.

"Yeah, Mina handed me about it yesterday." Gwen answered and smiled at them.

"Cool, we're teammates!" Yui clapped her hands excitedly.

"I know." Gwen chuckled over that reaction but the irritated lady was not happy at all.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE AN ELITE YOU DON'T SERVE IT!" The irritated lady just snapped and shouted at Gwen.

"Enough." the one who had a crush on Slavica tried to stop her irritated teammate.

"NO, THIS NEWBIE HERE, SHE WALKS AS IF SHE OWN THE PLACE WHILE EVERYONE WAS HAVING HARD TIME." she pressed and Gwen stared to hear something coming out from the shouting lady. She was changed and that's what Gwen was noticing.

"I said enough, calm yourself." the same lady kept trying to calm her teammate down but nothing was happening. She could not hold it anymore.

"NO! SHE NEEDS TO KNOW HER PLACE NOW!" She kept shouting which made Gwen slam her hand making the alarm around DIP quarters stop.

They were surprised at what just happened and confused since the alarm suddenly went off but Gwen had another thing in mind. She secretly let her invincible bloody strings wrap around her so her teammates won't get hurt. In case, the lady loses her sanity.

"Did you say something?" Gwen tried to keep her cool even though she was already annoyed by the angry lady before their table.

"Hush, my love. Calm yourself you might hurt anyone here." Slavica sensed her lover's energy was shifting already.

"I'm not but there will be one if she doesn't stop ruining my peaceful meal." Gwen pointed while looking at the angry lady.

"As if!" the angry lady scoff and glared back at Gwen.

"Do want to get blind for the rest of your life or lose everything and never exist at all?" Gwen was daring the angry lady more. Slavica noticed something on the way Gwen talked to the lady.

"What are you saying, my love?" she wondered.

"She's falling into a fallen rogue, can you not read her energy flow, Vica?" Slavica turned to the lady as soon as she heard those words from her lover. Slavica was staring at the angry lady's energy flow and it was indeed shifting into the madness of a fallen rogue.

"Now that you mentioned it, you need to take her to Alysia and Akasha now." Slavica sighed and informed her teammates to take her to the DIP doctors around the quarters.

"NOOO!!!" the angry lady gets away from the attempt of her teammates on holding her down.

"When my girlfriend told you to calm down do it or else…" Gwen warned but she was being cut off. Slavica and her teammate knew that Gwen didn't like being cut off when she's being serious about her warning.

"OR ELSE WHAT?! WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO HUH? PUSSY." the angry lady snapped and Slavica's teammates moved with their remaining food to the side.

When Gwen heard that, she suddenly vanished from her seat and the next thing that happened to the cafeteria was ruined. Everything was being pushed away whether them or things around the cafeteria to the side drastically due to the very powerful impact to what Gwen did. She slammed the only DIP member who was losing her sense of control on the ground.

"ARGH! LET ME GO!" the angry lady shouted as she tried to get away from the grip that Gwen was giving on her neck.

"Strangle more, life and blood will be the payment for what you've caused here." Gwen warned in her awakened side as she started to emit some glow that could hurt anyone she intend to hurt.

But the angry lady kept on strangling and strings around her began to show up then tightened around her entire body. It was like it was stopping her to move or to make her calm but she was not listening to Gwen's warning. Gwen sighed and snapped her fingertips to let her go but the angry lady charged at her when the black cat with Gwen showed up and transformed into its huge form.

'NOBODY TOUCHES, MY LADY YOU FILTHY FALLEN ROGUE!'

"Woah, Bastet, you can speak now?!" Gwen reacted when her black cat familiar suddenly shifted into its beastly form and pinned down the turning lady before them.

'I'm in my true form that's why I can speak in your language.'

"Okay, now will you help me hold her down? I have to find the core of her fallen rogue. Love, can you call Alys and Akasha for this one, please, tell them it's urgent." She nodded before informing Slavica for assistance.

"Noted." Slavica agreed and pulled out her phone to call the two DIP doctors for an urgent emergency that needed their expertise.

The angry lady was struggling and started roaring as it fight the beast form of the black cat familiar with Gwen. Bastet, the black cat familiar was not having a hard time sustaining the almost fallen DIP member even though it was fighting its heavy paw.

"Hold her down, Bastet." Gwen whispered that only her familiar would hear and it gave an assuring nod to her.

Gwen cracked her knuckles and began positioning herself on the ground not far from where the DIP member has been pinned down. She began making hand gestures as if she was playing a rubric cube but the energy that was forming within turned out to be an orb. It was glowing like a heartbeat and when the DIP member beneath Bastet's paw looked at Gwen's way, something happened.

"Glowing light, sparks at night.

Taken by bright, hold on tight.

Make it right, saved by might." Gwen chanted something that nobody heard before. But when the DIP member heard them, the energy orb that Gwen formed was connecting to the lady's energy.

As the energy flows from the orb and from the pinned lady on the ground has been fully connected, it began on wrapping around its body. The pinned lady began shivering from a simple chill to an intense shake. She was like moving like a possessed lady but the sound of her scream was indeed a roar from a fallen rogue. It alarmed her teammates and exactly Alysia and Akasha finally came in.

"What's happening here?" Alysia quickly asked as soon as they appeared at the messed up cafeteria.

"Alys, look. Gwen…I mean, Sabina…" Akasha pointed to where the cause of the mess around the cafeteria and it was glowing.

"She's glowing like a bright star." Alysia commented on the kind of glow that they were witnessing around Gwen.

"Polaris." Akasha whispered as her eyes began to see multicolor energy forces around the cafeteria with some floating orbs around. She knew that the floating snowdrop glows were spirits or souls around the quarters.

"Slavica, what's happening, and why she could call the spirits around the quarters?" Akasha asked Slavica directly who was just watching her lover do her thing but still guarded.

"She's Wilma's apprentice." Slavica only managed to answer the lady's question.

"Even so, how come she possessed a great deal of energy that could compare to the founders." Akasha still wondered even though she already witnesses what she did for her mate, Jefferson once at the training field.

"She's my descendant even though she's a halfling." Wilma appeared by the entrance alongside Mina and the other founders.

"Wilma…" Alysia muttered as they went inside the cafeteria.

"Don't worry, she was just taming the fallen side's core." Wilma smiled proudly at what Gwen was performing before them, again.

"Core?" Akasha wondered since only rare creatures could only see or sensed the core of a fallen rogue.

"Just watch." Mina ushered them to watch Gwen's power carefully because she knew that she was a promising newly recruited member of DIP.

As soon as it was being said but Wilma, something happened over Gwen's spot, her familiar, Bastet immediately jumped away and stood beside Slavica in her small cat form already. When she was gone on Gwen's spot, Gwen was making the orb big and then getting up from the ground. She went closer to the shivering lady who was now calming down.

"I've lost many things as well but you're living right now, you have to decide. Take the life that has been offered to you or fall into your own madness. Which one you're willing to take?" Gwen sincerely asked with her calm voice yet powerful as if she was possessed by a mighty heaven.

"I…" The lady was about to give her answer but Gwen interrupted her.

"Remember those who have you meet right now. Also, remember the difference from your old self to now. Weight things before you make your decision." She reminded the lady to make a wise decision for herself because she's on the bridge of being a fallen rogue. Gwen only managed to pull her back a little since only a mate could do more than a tamer could.

"I will…choose…life…that I have now…" the lady cried as she saw the moments that she went through with her teammates, especially the lady who had a crush on Slavica. Everyone could see what suddenly she was seeing because of Gwen's glowing aura that looked like an aurora.

"Then don't go back there. If you see yourself going back there, think of this day. Recalled every reason that made you decide it. It will help you get through things in the near future because it was the decision that you made for yourself and nobody else. It's yours." Gwen might be sounding firm but she was totally calm and assuring when she spoke them to her.

There were no words have been left the lady before her and Gwen smiled genuinely as she let the orbs go back to their rightful place. The energy that has been gathered in the orb was now being passed down to the crying lady whose fallen state was subsiding slowly until another lady came on rushing to her side. It didn't care about what was going on at the moment, she just had the urge to be with her and when their body collided in a tight embrace, Gwen smiled.

"Even just one great reason to keep you moving forward and fight those monsters residing within you, take it, and don't let that light goes dim." Gwen patted the two ladies but her eyes were still fixed on the almost fallen lady that gratefully she managed to save.

"Thank you for saving her." the lady who had a crush on Slavica thanked her while holding her friend in her arms dearly.

"I didn't. You did." Gwen smiled and corrected her.

"What?" she was confused but her friend knew what Gwen was saying.

"You didn't leave her side even though she's turning into a fallen rogue. Now, can you tell me who is she to you? Wait, don't answer that tell that to her alone." She respond and asked but also decided not to hear them because she knew that it was for them to learn about it. She patted their shoulders once again before heading back to Salvica's arms.

Speaking of her, Gwen suddenly appeared in front of Salvica and immediately snuggled herself into the crook of Slavica's neck. Slavica chucked and hold her dearly into her arms.

"So, why we're here in the first place?" Alysia cut their moment and asked them.

"Oh about that, check on her, I might tame her fallen state from going to its bridge but make sure those two don't leave each other's side." Gwen was still snuggling and inhaling the scent of her lover when she answered.

"What do you mean?" Akasha asked and glanced over at the ladies at the same spot.

"Her fallen rogue side reacted on her. I think it was jealous when she speaks to you, my love." Gwen answered but then turned to Slavica before slightly pinching the tip of her nose.

"Oh…but why she targeted you?" Slavica wondered.

"Hmm, calling for help, maybe?" Gwen guessed.

"You heard its fallen side plea again?" she guessed what made Gwen deal with it. Then Gwen, snapped her fingertips that making everything in the cafeteria go back to its rightful place as if nothing happened around.

"You can say it that way but more importantly, I'm not the one who made her calm drastically, but that girl." She pointed to the lady who had a crush on Slavica. Slavica just nodded while watching those ladies.
