After their morning routine, both of them went to the founders' office to inform them about their departure as well. They had a small briefing before leaving the DIP Quarters' perimeter and when they were just out, Gwen grabbed Slavica's hand.
"What?" Slavica wondered since it was a sudden hold from her lover.
"Just hold on tight. I wanna try something." Gwen grinned and Slavica shivered a little from it.
"Okay." She just nodded and as soon as Gwen heard it, they were gone on their spot.
Without taking time from their walk or run, Gwen teleport them back to the team's cabin that she had in her mind. But doing that without telling Slavica had a different effect on her. Slavica felt dizzy and everything around her was spinning which made her vomit.
"Oh, sorry, love. I just want to check if I could do it and surprisingly I did. Great, right?" Gwen apologized but then chuckled since she was happy with what she managed to do even though it was just her first time trying it.
"Yeah, great but help me, please…everything is spinning, my love." Slavica weakly said and Gwen immediately help her get inside the cabin and let her rest.
"I'll prepare something for you." She said and immediately get some water before appearing to Slavica's spot.
Gwen does some simple dishes for them before they could proceed on their way. But while Gwen was busy in the kitchen, Slavica finally calmed down and her sight wasn't spinning anymore then finished the water before she check the tasks that they have to deal with. She was studying it and they need to hurry.
"Hmm, what's the best route from here?" Slavica was checking the map and the easy way to head there.
As she was navigating their easiest route, Gwen put their snack for the morning since they had a long travel to the Singarti Kingdom.
"How about I teleport us there?" Gwen suggested as she drink her tea.
"And how can you do that when you've never been there before?" Slavica asked since she knew that teleporting was not that easy especially when never seen the place you were going to yet.
"Hmm, that's true…" she nodded in understanding.
"Let me think of something. Rest." She smiled assuringly and went back to checking the map.
"Okay, don't forget to eat since you vomited your food there." Gwen sighed and reminded her about her food as she get up from the couch with her cup.
"Hey." Slavica whined while pouting.
"Laters, love." Gwen kissed her lips before heading to the backyard. Slavica just shook her head before going back to what she has been doing earlier while eating.
When Gwen went outside, she just finished her tea before she put some water to it and let it rest on the grassy ground not from the outdoor bathroom in the garden. She settled herself on the ground just facing the cup that was now filled with water from the well.
"Now, let's do this." Gwen muttered to herself and she began doing breathing exercises but then it changes.
Her breathing exercises shifted into something deep breathing that made her eyes close and drifted to meditation. She began meditating and letting the energies that were surrounding her flow around her. With a clear view through her mind, she let herself travel into a certain place where she once saw through Belle's eyes. She looked around and since it was morning, she could see it clearly.
"So, it was true…this place was burned down…" Gwen thought to herself while walking around and confirmed what Irina had reported to them once.
"Hm, where's that malice?" she asked since she was not sensing it around her but when she looked around, it was just lurking in some certain place within the vanished pack's perimeter.
"Hmm, how many are you here?" she wondered as she checked the energy flowing around the dark malice lurking around but not getting close to her.
Slowly, to Gwen's sight, she could see the dark malice finally took the form they were fallen rogues and they were three but there was something else around there. Gwen looked for more clues around the safe spot and away from the dark malice around. Since she was possessing the sight that could see energy flows, she noticed the only difference around the perimeter.
"Luna?" Gwen whispered since she saw the only different energy flow around the burned and ruined pack house. Gwen could feel the other energies around the area and she knew it was from the lost soul of the vanished pack.
"I have to go back…I'll be here with my mate…just be patient. We're coming." Gwen said to nobody but she felt that somebody was there with her and then she felt something touch her forehead.
In just a matter of seconds, she was being pulled back to the present and to where she was staying. Gwen panted and when she glanced over the water on the cup, it was already empty. She sighed because she knew that she traveled there through her meditation and with the help of nature's energies around her.
"What did it say to me?" Gwen muttered to herself as she began on calming herself since it was a tiring meditation.
'Use the given gift well. We're waiting for your arrival, Polaris.'
"Oh man, we have to reach there before dusk." Gwen realised when she recalled the message that has been sent to her alongside the map of the entire Singarti. It was given to her by Luna's spirit from the vanished pack.
Gwen immediately get up from her spot and she grabbed the empty cup before dashing back to the cabin. She dropped the cup on the sink only to see a sleeping Slavica on the couch with papers around her. Gwen shook her head and went to her lover. She clean things around but she noticed some markings around the map which made her act like a curious cat again.
"Hmm…you're considering our stopovers as well those creatures around there…" Gwen smiled as she took notes of the marks that her lover left on the map.
"Wait, reapers, necromancers, witches, and even fallen rogues were around the area…hmm…why do you have to decide on passing at their spot, my love?" She wondered about the certain spot where they were about to stop over.
"Information." Slavica yawned as she answered Gwen as soon as she heard those questions from her.
"I see…let's go. We have to reach there before dusk." she nodded in understanding but she also told her lover about heading there already while the sun wasn't at its highest peak.
"Why?" Slavica wondered.
"I need to be there at night." She smirked as she grabbed their things.
"When you said need to be there, are you telling me about the vanished pack?" she guessed as she took their things from Gwen, and they both headed to the door. Slavica glanced once more to check if they left something, but gladly nothing.
"Yes, so let's go." Gwen ushered her lover as she grabbed her arm.
"Alright, I might not understand but please tell me on the way." Slavica sighed and Gwen nodded while grinning.
"Ready to teleport to the car?" Gwen winked at her lover.
"Ahh, can we just -" Slavica was about to decline.
"Nope." she grinned and without letting Slavica protest more, they were gone on the spot.
"BABE, YOU'LL BE THE DEATH OF ME!!!!!!" Slavica screamed as soon as they teleport.
Once they made it to their team's parking spot in the middle of nowhere, Slavica started puking again as soon as they arrived at the last stop that Gwen recalled when she got to know them. They were on the run back then away from the hospital and now they were back but there was nothing around there.
"How can I forget that they've taken the car?" Gwen sighed while she forgot that her lover was resting beneath the tree after puking from the sudden teleportation that they did again.
"Love, do we have any transpo here?" she asked her dizzy lover.
"There…just around there…" Slavica weakly answered since her sight was still spinning.
"Okay, I'll bring it out." Gwen smiled and went on her own to get their vehicle for their travel.
"Be careful…" Slavica couldn't shout but she knew that her lover could hear them.
Just a few minutes after Slavica's resting, Gwen finally came back and she was driving a midnight black vintage Mercedes Benz. She went off and picked her lover up before assisting her to get inside the car and then, they went on their way to the Singarti Kingdom by car.
"Don't teleport the entire car there." Slavica weakly told Gwen as she was resting on the passenger seat beside her.
"Oh, I'll try it." Gwen smirked in a teasing manner.
"BABE! Please, be normal even just for this car ride. Savor it." she whined and Gwen chuckled over her lover's cute reaction.
"You just don't want to teleport with me." Gwen playfully pouted while they were driving.
"It's not that…I'm not used to it…" she sighed as she rested her head because her sight was still a little bit spinning.
"Then practice with me." she insisted as she finally made it out from the woods and bumpy road that she was totally familiar with.
"One day but not today, my love please…" she sighed before putting a wet towel on her face.
"Fine." Gwen muttered while her eyes focused on her driving.
"Do you know where we're heading?" Slavica changed the subject while resting her eyes and head on her seat.
"Got in control. Rest." Gwen smirked as she caressed her lover's thigh so that she could reach out.
"Okay, I trust you. Love you." Slavica sighed and let her lover take over since she was still weak from the teleportation that happened to her twice in one day.
"Love you too." She responded as her eyes turned into something that even Slavica saw before. It was mauve amber which almost looked like wolf eyes on how deep they were.
Just like what was marked on the map, Gwen made some stopovers while Slavica rested in the car. She bought them some nice heavy sandwiches for their lunch since they couldn't dine in the meantime. She even bought something to eat along the way when they went to the gasoline station for the next stopover.
"I'll ask some around. You stay in the car, Sabina." Slavica was totally doing find already and it was her turn to check and gathered some information.
"Yes, love. Hurry." Gwen shouted at her.
"I will." Slavica chuckled as she nodded and head to the convenience store to buy some bottled water while Gwen refilled their car's gas.
Slavica was walking around when she began on sensing rogue around but it was familiar. She somewhat encountered that scent before and she was right when she met the creature.
"So, it's you, Lisabeth." Slavica confirmed while paying for their drinks.
"Well, heard you're on the way to the wolves and my guts tell me to meet you already." Lisabeth was also paying for some snacks and drinks she bought.
"Hmm, smell to me like a mate bond calling, am I right?" she teased her and thanked the cashier.
"Maybe and I hope so too." Lisabeth sighed hopefully and thanked the cashier before following Slavica out of the convenience store.
"Got something for me?" Slavica asked while they were walking to the gas station where their car has been parked.
"Yeah, that's another thing why I'm meeting you." Lisabeth answered that made them slow down.
"Pack of fallen rogues were heading at the Singarti but I am not sure if they were the same fallen rogues who were pardoned and saved." she continued with her very low voice that only Slavica's ears could hear.
"But they were just five or seven and they're not even reaching twenty or more than ten." Slavica was a little bit confused about the news that Lisabeth was telling her.
"That's why I'm checking it out when she senses you're coming here." Lisabeth agreed and they went back on their tracks normally.
"Sense?" Slavica arched her left eyebrow while smirking which made Lisabeth hit her shoulder playfully. Gwen sensed their coming and saw that and felt a little jealous there.
"Shut up. You know my ability whenever it comes to connecting creatures." Lisabeth rolled her eyes but smiled.
"I know. Let's go, I want you to meet my mate." Slavica smiled and pointed to their car which made Lisabeth play with her eyebrows. She was teasing Slavica.
"Gladly you found her this time - wait, is it her or a he?" she asked in her teasing tone.
"Her." Slavica blushed.
"Lovely." Lisabeth put her arms around her shoulder before ruffling her hair. Age-wise, Lisabeth was older than her if Slavica didn't turn immortal.
When they got there, Gwen was already crossing her arms and glaring at them in silence. Slavica knew that her lover was jealous since Gwen was not speaking about it. She sighed and went to her side.
"This is Lisabeth, she'll be tagging with us since she was one of the team members that we're looking for." Slavica explained but Gwen just eyeing Lisabeth from head to toe and it wasn't just that, she was reading her energy flow already.
"Then stop that." Gwen coldly said that made Slavica flinch.
"Don't be jealous. I'm a vampire witch and have been living for a while already before this kiddo turned immortal because of the mythical sword, Excalibur." Lisabeth saved her and Gwen already knew that. She read her already.
"Even so, she's mine." She still warned Lisabeth who chuckled.
"Got the message." She raised her hand in surrender before hopping into the backseat of the car.
"Let's hit the road." Slavica said as she let her lover go to the driver's seat since she could drive fast enough than Slavica could unless they were being chased.
