Chapter 61: The Arrival At Singarti Kingdom

As the three of them settled inside the car, Gwen started the engine and went on their way to the kingdom's border. But while they were on the way, she started on informing them about what she sensed while she was alone at the gas station there.

"By the way, while you're inside, smelled the same death a few miles away from here…but I am not sure it was still around there." Gwen informed them and she was changing the gears to make their car fast.

"Death? Reaper perhaps?" Lisabeth guessed and Gwen shrugged her shoulders.

"Not sure…but Irina contacted me that Belle and some of the wolves were already in their position to pick us up." She added and Slavica nodded.

"Good. Estimated time of our drive?" She wondered.

"Don't worry about it." Gwen grinned which made Slavica shivered and looked scared at her lover who was driving the car.

"Babe, dont." Slavica warned her.

"Well, its for your punishment." She smirked.

"Punishment?" Lisabeth wondered but she got the feeling that she's going to like it.

"I didn't do anything, my love, please no teleport, please." Slavica was totally scared when she pleaded to her lover.

"Too late." Gwen pressed the accelerator of the car and made it zoom.

"NOOOOO!!!!" Slavica screamed once again while inside the car and just like earlier, they vanished in the middle of the road and teleport to the Singarti Kingdom border.

There was a little touch of lightning around and a fast overspeeding car came out of nowhere appeared to the border road of the Singarti Kingdom. Gwen and Lisabeth were totally had their fun inside the car apart from someone who seems like suddenly had a motionsickness. They slowed down because they noticed two cars standing by the layby of the road.

"Escort?" Lisabeth muttered as she tried to read those people on the side.

"Maybe." Gwen said and let their car rested for a moment on the same layby and as soon as they do, Slavica came out and started on throwing up, again.

Lisabeth laughed at it before patting her back as soon as she went out as well. Slavica groaned and let herself rested to the side while breathing fresh air. The two of them were resting outside when three men apporached them.

"Are you lost?" one man asked politely.

"Nope." Slavica just simply answered.

"Then why you're here? A vampire and a hunter." another man asked while glaring at Lisabeth.

"I'm not a hunter but I'm here to pay a visit to IrisMoon pack." Slavica answered since she could sensed that they despite vampire presence around their kingdom. But honestly, not all of them.

"Impossible." Another one muttered but it didn't escape from their hearing.

"Impossible because a vampire coming there?" Lisabeth was smirking as if she was daring them.

"Yeah, got a problem with that." the second man clicked his tongue in annoyance around Lisabeth's presence.

"Enough. Babe, let's go. Belle is waiting for us." but before Lisabeth could answer, Gwen shouted at them from the car.

"See you around, pups." Lisabeth grabbed Slavica's arm and went to the car.

"WHY YOU." the second man was totally pissed.

"I SAID LET'S GO or do you want me to leave you here?" Gwen shouted in anger that made them flinched because her voice sounding like an alpha.

"Nope, we're coming." Slavica answered and get inside the car.

"Bye." Lisabeth waved her hands to the men who approached them.

Inside the car, Gwen immediately drove their car inside the Singarti Kingdom's perimeter and just a few kilometer away from the kingdom's entrance, Gwen slightly slowed down their car.

"Are they the one that Irina sent that will pick us up?" Slavica asked while her eyes were close.

"Nope. Irina just told me to meet them at the border of the…wait, I think that's them." Gwen answered and saw a two ladies waiting outside a diner before completely checking them out.

"Yo." Gwen said as she confirmed it was them.

"What took you so long?" Irina asked as they get inside the car.

"Two cars were at the kingdom's entrance and three men approached us." Gwen answered.

"Do you mind a vampire coming in the pack?" Slavica asked first before Gwen could drive again.

"I already told them before we come here to fetch you." Belle answered before she turned to the vampire sitting beside them at the backseat of the car.

"I'm Belle Marshall and you are?" she introduced herself.

"Lisabeth from Aspire clan." Lisabeth smiled as she did the same to Belle.

"Then you do perform medical practices?" Belle suddenly wondered since Aspire were not just clever in the battlefield, they were great in medical field.

"Yeah, though I didn't finished my degree due to DIP's request." Lisabeth answered honestly.

"Ah, same with Janella." Belle nodded in understanding yet she mentioned a name that hits Lisabeth's hearing.

"Janella?" she wondered because when she muttered or heard the name, it tickles her for some odd reason.

"Yep and don't worry you'll meet my friend at the pack. She's been helping around the pack's clinic." Belle could noticed some exciment in Lisabeth's eyes when she mentioned the name.

"Speaking of, are you okay, boss?" Irina suddenly changed the subject because Slavica didn't even glanced at them.

Slavica sighed before she started on glaring at Gwen all of the sudden instead of answering Irina. The two beings who joined the ride noticed something was up when they saw Slavica glared at Gwen.

"Why you're glaring at her?" Belle wondered until Lisabeth break it to them while grinning.

"Well, Sabina has been teleporting her for I'm not sure how many times already because it seems to me she suddenly had a motion-sickness." Lisabeth slightly chuckled as she answered their wonder.

"Sabina…" Irina warned.

"What? I'm just practicing. Plus, I have to get here before sunset. If she only agreed on doing that since we left the DIP quarters, we're already here around lunch." Gwen glanced over the rear mirror and saw Irina gave her a look as she gave her defensive answer.

"Well, it was just four in the afternoon." Belle giggled slightly.

"Sabina, what do you mean about you having to be here before sunset?" Irina caught it and wondered what it mean to Gwen.

"Because tonight I have to check that place." Gwen just answered as they made turns as if she knew where to go.

"Are you serious?" she worried since Gwen was like her baby sister that she need to protect from time to time. She was like babying her.

"Yeah and don't worry, Slavica and I will deal with it alone. Be sure that nobody will come after us because I think we're the only ones who find something in there." Gwen smiled as she reassured Irina about something that only Slavica and her could do.

"But Irina, tell me what you've gotten there so far." Slavica changed the subject since they need to add it up to what they had with them.

"I can't tell yet since we're in the car. We found something there that we have to bring with us and don't worry it wasn't inside the pack but it was at the border of the pack." Irina turned serious even more when she answered the leader of their team.

"Good, we'll head there." Gwen decided immediately while grinning as if she was planning something.

"Love, don't you dare." Slavica noticed it and warned her not to do it again.

"Sorry, it's the fastest one." She sincerely apologized which made Slavica groan.

"Fuck, just pay me back later." She might hate the idea but what Gwen told her was right and she just have to get used to it as soon as possible because her lover was enjoying it already.

"Don't worry, I'm all yours." Gwen winked which made Slavica think of something that made her grin as she realized what her lover just told her.

"Guys, can't you flirt in front of the three of us?" Belle teased the couple in the front seats.

"Yeah, it's making me miss my mate here." Irina sighed.

"Damn, I'm hoping to mine." Lisabeth reacted.

"Still mateless, Lisabeth?" Belle wondered yet she found herself smirking about something.

"Yeah, but I've got the feeling that I might find my mate somewhere here." She honestly answered her.

"You will. Keep hoping." Belle patted her shoulder and Lisabeth nodded.

"Thanks, I need that." She smiled before looking outside the window.

Then just like what Slavica thought that her lover would do, they once again teleport not just to conserve the gas but to reach the area that they decided to go. And just like what has been happening to Slavica whenever Gwen teleported with her, everything was spinning and she started throwing up.

"Babe, are you okay?" Gwen asked even though it was too obvious that she was not.

"I'll be fine later, just let me rest this time, and please, not again." Slavica sighed as she was resting herself beneath the pine tree while feeling the cold breeze of the air. It was helping her to calm down.

"Can't promise." Gwen winked at her lover before she kissed her forehead very dearly.

"Argh…fine, just let me rest here and check what Irina had for us." Slavica just gave up and ushered her to do their work while she rest there.

"Okay, I'll be back. Lisabeth, please stay with her for a moment." She smiled and kissed Slavica's lips before asking a favor to Lisabeth.

"No problem." Lisabeth smiled while nodding then Gwen went inside a small cabin since Irina and Belle were already waiting for her to come with them.

Inside the small cabin that they had back at the DIP quarters, Gwen almost froze to her spot when her eyes suddenly were activated and saw different energy flowing around the entire cabin.

"You see something?" Irina noticed and asked.

Gwen didn't answer and just let the flow move around her before she started walking as if she was being guided to go somewhere within the room. Irina and Belle just watched her move around the cabin until she stopped in front of a bulk piece of clothing. It was covering something and before Gwen could touch it, she speaks.

"Tell me, who did this to you and your pack?" Gwen suddenly talked to someone that Irina and Belle couldn't see at all. But they listened to their conversation.

'Fallen rogues…death reaper couldn't collect our souls because of something beneath our pack…'

"You're Luna told me to got there…and you have to cross now since you're not there anymore." She told to the energy flow that took form before her deep shades of blue.

'No. I can't.'

"Why?" she wondered.

'I have to protect my mate…Janella…'

"But you're dead…" she said in a confused tone.

'Please, let me protect her…I was about to meet her by following her scent but…I was hit by the dark malice when I passed by at the certain perimeter…and…slowly, it kills me…'

"How did it happen? How did you know it was Janella?" she curiously asked since he came from the vanished pack which made her wonder on how he knew Janella from the IrisMoon pack.

'I'm one of the survivors of my old pack and IrisMoon gave me a place to stay that's why I know her. We're too young to recognize our mate's scent until recently…yet, I'm on my perimeter job when this happens to me. Please, let me be with Janella. Let me protect her.'

"Will you be alright when her second chance mate was near here?" Gwen nodded in understanding and asked again.

'Yes, all I want was to protect her.'

"Then…I've got something for you…" She smirked since she knew what to do for the soul before her.

Gwen get up from her spot and placed her hand over the energy flow before her. Then with her full concentration, the entire energy that was wrapping around the entire small cabin began to move into one point. Lisabeth and Slavica sensed it before they immediately when to check what was happening to Gwen. When they got inside where Irina and Belle stood frozen in their spot, Slavica began to feel the same feeling when Gwen and she was in Wilma's created realm.

"You're a promising wolf." Gwen smiled as the energy flowed before she began to shift into a wolf with reddish-brown fur and yellow eyes.

'How did I get this form?'

"Well, from now on, you're one with your wolf and you'll be a familiar. Choose your master that is mostly bonded to your Janella." Gwen smiled assuringly to the red wolf and it still didn't grasp what Gwen gave to it.

'How can I know that?'

"You tell me." She smiled before she pet the wolf's head before she step aside and let the wolf smell the air around it.

After a few sniff in the air, she began walking toward the four of them who was standing still by the door. They were not sure how to react but it stopped in front of Lisabeth. It sniffed her deeply before it automatically turned into a reddish brown and yellow orb.

"Grab it, Lisabeth." Gwen instructed and even though Lisabeth hasn't had any idea what it was, she grab it.

When she did a strange power began to wrap around her and her sense began to increase. Lisabeth almost forgot to breathe which Gwen immediately aided her. She patted her back gently as she instructed her how to breathe and it was doing its trick of calming her down.

"Now, tell us what did you feel over this orb?" Gwen asked.

"Power and protection…not sure though…" Lisabeth answered as she analyzed the orb in her hand.

"You will understand since it's your familiar and it only be activated when you found your mate." she added that made Lisabeth confused a little.

"How would I know it was my mate? Through this orb, is that how it works nowadays?" she wondered that making Gwen and the others laugh.

"No silly, finding mates were still the same in old times but having this familiar it will clarify something about your mate." Gwen cleared that up until Lisabeth suddenly tensed up.
