Chapter 62: The IrisMoon Pack Connection

They all looked at Lisabeth since she was suddenly tensed up and looked over the entrance of the cabin.

"Mate." she even muttered that and the rest of them all looked at each other.

"That's fast." Slavica said before they all looked in one direction since they were sensing somebody was approaching the small cabin where they are.

Just like what they were sensing, somebody indeed came by the perimeter of the cabin. They all went out of it and saw a lady wearing an oversized grey hoodie and black yoga pants.

"Lady Belle, sorry to interrupt but your father has been calling for you since he needs your presence with your friends to discuss something privately." the lady who came to fetch them said directly to Belle.

"We'll be right there and Janella, meet Sabina, Slavica, and Lisabeth." Belle nodded and introduced the others who were with her. But something caught her nose that made her sniff the air.

"Mate…" Janella, the wolf shifter lady whispered and stared directly at Lisabeth.

Just by staring at each other, both of them were already formed a bond of mates until Janella's eyebrow suddenly knotted. She realized something and Lisabeth knew what she was thinking which made her sigh before she caught her mate's attention.

"Vampire and a wolf as mates… don't you think it's odd?" Lisabeth commented and Janella smirked at her.

"No, why do you think that?" Janella wondered what made her think that way.

"Well, to the Aspire clan…well, mostly to the vampires… didn't like mixing blood." Lisabeth shyly admitted the clan where she came from hates mixing blood.

"So you're rejecting this?" Janella asked as she masked the slight sadness that didn't escape from Lisabeth's eyes.

"Nope. I'd rather be with you and I heard from Belle, you're being chosen by DIP as well." Lisabeth turned the table and changed the subject which made Janella smile.

"Yeah, I am, are you the same as me?" Janella's mood immediately changed when her mate changed the subject before asking the same thing.

Lisabeth quickly decided on something that she knew will change her life forever and it was because of making Janella smile. She's feeling the bond already that was forming was already getting thick and tight because of that feeling, she decided to accept it.

"Yes, and I, Lisabeth from Aspire Clan accept the mate bond with Janella of IrisMoon pack as my beloved mate." Lisabeth accepted the bond with the others with them bare witness to what Lisabeth started.

"I am too, Janella from IrisMoon pack accepts the bond of being the mate of Lisabeth of Aspire Clan." Janella smiled even more as her tears suddenly fell down from her face which Lisabeth immediately wiped off. Both of them felt a warm and loving sensation that suddenly came on rushing within their body when they touched.

"Alright, let's go home before my father kills us all." Belle clapped her hands and felt happy for Janella to finally found her mate.

"Let's go then." Gwen grinned which made them wonder what she was saying.

"Babe." Slavica sighed in defeat when she saw the grinning lips of her lover.

"Don't worry. I've got an idea." Gwen caressed Slavica's cheek before pinching them slightly.

"Whatever. Just do what you must." She sighed once again and let her lover do what she have to do before kissing Gwen's forehead.

"Whipped." Belle and Irina commented to Slavica's sigh but she just glared at them.

Then with one snap of Gwen's fingertips, they were already at the backyard access of their pack house. Janella and Belle almost lose their balance if Irina and Lisabeth were their to assist them. But when it comes to Slavica, she was standing still and looking confused over her lover's way.

"What did you do?" Slavica wondered as she looked at Gwen in a little disbelief.

"I cloak you with my protection when I pinch your cheek earlier. So, still dizzy?" Gwen smiled and kissed her lover's cheek before asking.

"It's bearable this time than before." She answered and Gwen chuckled.

"See, I told you I've got an idea." She even winked at Slavica who blushed slightly and smiled back at her.

"You never failed to amaze me, my love." She kissed Gwen's head.

"I know and I want to keep it up so you won't look to the others." She grinned but there was a little bit of warning in her tone that made Slavica shiver a little in a good way though.

"As if, I looked at them like on how I look at you." She smirked and they were about to kiss each other when Belle cut their moment since they were not alone.

"Okay, lovebirds, shall we meet my father, now? I don't want to deal with his temper when Mom is busy at the infirmary." Belle faked a cough and reasoned with the couple.

"Alright, let's go." Gwen nodded and their mood immediately shifted from a lovey-dovey couple to a serious member of the Star Elite team of DIP.

Inside the pack house, they all went to the alpha's office and Lisabeth was given a very warm welcome when the beta suddenly dashed and attacked her. But Lisabeth sighed and easily dodged it yet, the opponent still not backing down made Janella butt in. She glared at the beta as she caught its fist which surprised them.

"I don't care if you're a beta but laying a finger or attacking my mate before me, I will give you hell." Janella warned and her voice was mixing with her very protective wolf. Lisabeth found it sexy and lovely.

"Babe, they won't be able to touch me." Lisabeth smirked and wrapped her arms around her mate's waist before sniffing her neck. It was calming Janella down.

"Even so, not in my watch. Please, let me do my part as your beloved." Janella sighed as she let Lisabeth leave a kiss mark over her neck and still glaring at the beta.

"That I'll do. But respect adults and your alpha since we're in his presence." Her mate chuckled but Janella rolled her eyes.

"Then tell that to the beta for disrespecting the alpha and the guest." she pointed out that the one who was disrespecting first made her retaliate.

The beta growled and Gwen just chuckled that cutting everything heavy that was swirling around the alpha's office. They were all looking at her as if she had grown two heads and was confused.

"Are they the ones you've been telling me, Irina?" the alpha asked since Gwen was giggling all of a sudden.

"Yes, alpha. She might be like that but she's the promising star elite of DIP." Irina confirmed it.

"Sorry about my sudden giggles…I'm Sabina, partner, and star elite team leader." Gwen finally decided to calm down and apologized to the pack's alpha before introducing herself to them.

"And don't move beta or else, that vampire's familiar will eat you alive. Plus, do you think that I would let you hurt them when they were under the surveillance of DIP?" but when she turned to the beta, she gave her warning gaze that made the beta whimper when he felt a very intense warning coming from Gwen.

"Be careful on my mate, she might be a newbie in your eyes but she's my equal when it comes to work." Slavica seriously added as she pulled out something from her satchel and handed it to the alpha before sitting beside her lover.

"So, speaking of work…I'm going straight to the point, Slavica and I will be there and no other wolf or creatures need to be close to that area because they're going to be trapped and they won't be able to return alive." Gwen immediately dropped what they were about to do around the wolf's land while the alpha read their assignment carefully.

There was a bit of silence and the alpha sighed since it was an assigned task for them and he get up from his seat after he took something from his drawer. He looked seriously at Gwen and handed her something that only the alpha and Gwen could see.

"Seems like you saw her." Alpha smiled as Gwen could tell that he had a very strong connection to the Luna of the vanished pack. His sister.

"Yes, that's why we're going there after dinner." Gwen answered as she received something that only she could tell what it was. It was totally invincible to them.

"Do you need somebody to escort you?" he asked in a polite manner.

"No need alpha, I've got my ways." she chuckled before winking at her lover beside her.

"Babe." Saliva whined because she knew already what it was. Teleporting and Gwen was loving it already after she discovered it.

"Don't worry, my love." Gwen smirked as she bit her lower lips as if she was thinking something naughty through that teleportation.

"If you say so." Slavica just sighed.

"Leave us." Alpha said to his beta but he glared at the vampire who was snuggling to Janella.

"But there's a vampire here, I can't." Beta growled while glaring at Lisabeth who was resting in her mate's arms.

"One day, a vampire with wolf blood will come here and change this pack." Gwen suddenly said because of the sudden glimpse that flashed to her and sighed on the spot.

"What?!" Beta exclaimed which made Slavica glare and sent her threatening aura. The beta shivered and cowered.

"Trust me, alpha, when that vampire comes here, your pack will prosper and will claim it because its beloved is from your line." Gwen smiled because it was not about the pack's downfall but its greatness when that certain vampire came into their land.

"Should I believe in this?" Alpha curiously asked.

"Up to you but…" Gwen smiled before she whispered only for the alpha's hearing.

"It will happen one day. You will know when it was coming." Gwen whispered that only the Alpha could hear.

"Why I've got the feeling that I won't be here anymore when it will happen?" he sighed in the same low whisper.

"Your daughter. Protect her at all cost, Alpha." She smiled and patted his shoulder at the same time she was sharing something with the alpha that will be helpful at a certain time.

'Do you have to do that?'

"Don't worry, love. It will only occur to him in dreams and besides, this won't be the last time that we'll be meeting Belle and this pack." Gwen answered the private mind link that her lover sent to her.

'You're really turning to be like Wilma.'

"Well, I'm starting to get used to this." She giggled and Slavica loves to hear them more often because it was totally natural and it was making Gwen more her.

"Alright, show them their room and you're dinner will be done after you settle down." Alpha cut their mind-link when he commanded her daughter for it.

"Thank you, alpha." Gwen thanked him and even shook his hand for it.

"Slavica, got a minute." the alpha smiled at him and called for Slavica for a very private conversation.

"Sure." She agreed and kissed Gwen's lips before they head out of the alpha's office.

'I'll be waiting.'

"Shit, babe. Don't turn me on, they could smell my arousal and I bet you don't want me to be surrounded by them later." Slavica shivered and she could tell that news made Gwen groan before clicking her tongue as she thought of it.

'Fine. Hurry back into my arms, babe.'

"You know that I will." Slavica responded and Gwen chuckled over their mind-link until it was cut off already.

When the others left the alpha and Slavica alone in the office, Slavica already could tell that the alpha was worried about something. The alpha sat back in his chair and read the file that she handed to him again.

"What is it, Alpha?" Slavica went straight to what was bothering the alpha to make her stay behind.

"You're mate, who is she?" he asked curiously.

"She's from the bloodline of one of the founders of DIP, why is there something bothering you about her?" she briefly answered.

"No, but it seems to me that only she could set my sister free from that cursed land." he sighed with a hopeful look in his eyes.

"Speaking of the land, alpha, why it was not noted to us?" she wondered.

"Actually, nobody knows was really happened. Their pack's existence vanished to anyone but only selective packs do particularly me and the Alpha King." he made it clear how only a few knew the existence of the vanished pack.

"And the reason why you're connected to it was because of your sister?" she guessed and he nodded.

"Not just because of my sister but because I'm working with her husband in surviving the king." but he added his connection with her sister's husband. They were both the trusted knights their alpha king.

"I see…don't worry, it seems to me my mate already knows what to do with it that's why we came here early than expected." She smiled as she reassured the alpha of handling the assigned task to them.

"Well, as Irina told me, she's indeed a promising member of DIP. She was like a bright star in morning and night time." he smiled as he nodded to what Slavica told him.

"Indeed she is, alpha. So, anything else?" she nodded in agreement before asking again.

"Nothing but please take care of Janella. She's my sister's daughter." Slavica nodded in understanding when the alpha requested that. She finally understood the deep connection of their pack to the vanished pack.

"She survived." Slavica commented on what she heard from him.

"Yes, she's here with us for vacation when that happened and one of the reasons, why I learned about their pack's sudden vanished." the alpha made it even much clearer on how he learned about it.

"I see…rest assured that will handle it." she smiled assuringly to the worried alpha.

"I leave them to you." he smiled and they shook their hands.
