Long-Lost Kin

A pebble dropped in the pools of calm water, creating ripples yet again in So Eun's uneasy mind.

His answer was out of this world, although it was not the answer he wanted to hear, this one would absolutely pave a path toward his wish.

So Eun was still keeping up, yet it turns out this pure spirit that he saw on the streets was profoundly intelligent and terrific. But then he can only see less than what meets the eye.

Mingli assured him with a still voice, then turned around playfully to run to the ancestral table.

Out of all the remaining furniture in the blackened Pavilion, the long ancestral table, and the used incense sticks clattered on the table stayed on the same exact spot.
