Chapter 16 - Spreading The Knowledge

Elder Yi gazed at him with slight surprise apparent in his eyes, yet, he didn't comment about it, he guessed that Ye Feng must've received something else when he got the Mental Cultivating technique, he took out a small book from the chest then put it in front of Ye Feng,

"Close your eyes, I will directly imprint this Cultivation Method into your mind, and, just so you know, you aren't allowed to share this method with others."

Ye Feng closed his eyes, he retracted his Mental Power and felt something touching his forehead, energy was being directly transmitted to his brain, when the flux of energy was cut, he found the energy to be gathering at the center of his brain before immediately scattering, at this point, he felt knowledge directly being poured into him, it reminded him of when he got the set of knowledge in the cave.

[Sun-Burning Heat], that was the name of this cultivation method, it was as domineering as its name would make one think, as its name implied, it was a Cultivation Method of the Fire Attribute, it meant that when one cultivated in this Method, their Qi would have increased affinity to Fire. Unlike Furbun's Rise, increasing the level of Sun-Burning Heat would result in having more abilities.

The First Level would grant one the ability to Ignite their entire body, the flame won't hurt the user's body, it could be used as armor and also be used to hurt enemies that relied on physical assaults, as of now. The Second Level would allow one to directly mold fire, it was most commonly used to make weapon or in refinement of weapons or pills. The Third Level would allow one to combust anything within 10 meters and even cause explosions. Ye Feng couldn't see what the abilities of the last 2 levels were but he saw their name, the Fourth Level was called [Inescapable Doom] and the Fifth Level was [When The Day Break].

Ye Feng directly tried to ignite his body but nothing seemed to happen except that Ye Feng was now extremely pale as he heavily panted, he did ignite his body, except that since he had no Qi to supply the constant loss of energy, it took a bit of his own fat, calories, proteins... To support the flame right before it was extinguished.

Elder Yi looked at him and fed him a small pill which directly recovered Ye Feng's energy, almost as if nothing had happened,

"What you've just experienced should be considered a warning for the future, [Sun-Burning Heat]'s ability take a huge toll on Qi and if you can't supply enough Qi, it'll take into your body's reserves, as for the future,you should know that you can only hold on for 5 seconds as a Beginning Quasi-Warrior, after that, for each time you breakthrough, you can multiply that number by 2. Only when you reach the realm after Knight, the realm of Master, that you'll be able to hold the ignition for an infinite amount of time if you never use your Qi for anything else."

Ye Feng nodded he sweated bullets whenever he thought about igniting himself again, he sighed when he remembered the color of the flame he had seen, even though a mortal couldn't see the flame with their naked eyes, Ye Feng had Mental Power that clearly remembered the color of the flame, it was white, Ye Feng had heard about the color of flames depending on their temperature, White was at around 1600 Degree Celsius, it was extremely high but it shouldn't be high enough for it to be qualified as Sun-Burning, Ye Feng truly hoped that it was just because he was too weak and couldn't show the true prowess of [Sun-Burning Heat]'s ability.

Just as Ye Feng was about to go up the stairs, Elder Yi called out to him,

"Ye Feng, I was about to forget, don't start cultivating until you've trained your body to the peak of a mortal, to do that, you'll have to train using the methods of this book."

As he said that, a book suddenly appeared in front of Ye Feng who directly stored it into his pouch, he then went up the stairs and headed back to the house before following his siblings back into the underground village that he hadn't seen in those last 6 months.

Meanwhile, back in the Temple, Elder Yi stood on the podium and looked at the immense golden statue of a Furbun, he gently moved it away using his Mental Power, revealing a door to a hidden room, Elder Yi hopped in before closing the entrance of the hidden room by putting the golden statue back.

In the hidden room, there was one altar and nothing else, Elder Yi took out pieces of bark and one purple branch, he lit up the purple branch, revealing a purple flame, using this purple flame, he carefully lit the candles that were on the altar before putting the pieces of bark on the table. Slowly, several mirrors of the altar lit up, revealing the image of Furbuns inside each of them, when every of the mirrors lit up, Elder Yi spoke,

"Comrade Furbun, I am Yi Henlan of Hong Star Forest, as you know, for too long we, Furbuns were forced into hiding, yet, I am here today to announce that it might soon be the day of our uprising, not long ago, a young Furbun of one of the tribes I oversee has given me a Mental Cultivation Method that all Furbuns can use, with that, the problem of Furbuns rarely having the ability to cultivate Qi isn't a problem. I can testify that it works, I myself have cultivated following the methods written on those pieces of bark, after only a day, I've already noticed results, and, a young Furbun was able to reach 8 Star Warrior in only 6 months through this Cultivation Method, it's even faster than cultivating Qi!" He paused, the atmosphere was silent, every mirrors showed the image of Furbuns with wide-eyes and ambition written in their eyes, Elder Yi used his Mental Power and picked up the pieces of bark and showed it to the mirrors.

After looking at the pieces of barks, some Elders couldn't contain their emotions and screamed in joy, the lights of every mirrors quickly dimmed down as they all started searching for books to write down everything before spreading it to every tribes they had to oversee.
