"What are you saying?" Gen Sirdeer asked a question to which he knew the answer to.
"Like we talked about I want all ties to be cut off. I feel betrayed for not receiving any help after so long. At least try to find the plane if you so much believed that I died. Even within that base camp I was never betrayed. You wanna know what I think on betrayal. It's that the saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemy's. Someday you'll realize the damage that you've caused."
"What is that suppose to mean?" O'Brain asked not in a harsh way, rather in a non understanding one..
"Like the saying goes 'It is better to have an enemy who slaps you in the face, than a friend who stabs you in the back.' and the other saying 'An honest enemy is better than a friend who lies, pay less attention to what people say and more attention on what they do. Their actions will show you the truth.'" Ian replied and quickly got up.
"I want to leave now, if you don't agree I can away's slip in and out of military bases or I can flee the country. Don't think that I can't manage a plane or ship. I may be young but I am fluent in several languages and have many other skills."
Ian was half way out the door when General Sirdeer agreed to the terms.
"Fine. We can work something out but if you want to remain within a military than you have to start from scratch. No rank no special treatment nothing you'll be reporting in the Marines in district 03.O'Brian show him the way."
"Yes Sir!"

Eight years later.

Grade: Classified
Military: Marine Corps
Mission assigned to: 1sLt Sirdeer Ian 'Ghost' #18 Classified Sgt. O'Brian Mary #30
Mission: Follow the escort team to the designated location and wipe out any possible threats that may get in the way of the escort team and the clients. DO NOT CONFRONT EITHER PARTIES! Possible enemy's, fifty.
-What the hell is this?- Ian thought as he ran through the sides of a mountain. -It's just supposed to be a protect mission as well as kill fifty, Just how the hell am I suppose to kill a hundred and fifty with members of the platoon heavily equipped. While i'm just wearing light weight clothes. and a four clips and a couple frags.-
Rattatatata!
Bullets tore through the sky as Ian hid behind trees to avoid being pierced by any stray bullets.
"Come on out Sirdeer! It's better if you died here than by some other hands!" One of the platoon members shouted.
"Not a chance I still have to do my mission. I have to protect O'Brian's daughter and if I die I'm bring you down with me." Ian shouted as he ran in a zig zag, keeping low to the ground." -I at least owe that to O'Brian after all these years of her kindness. Her death will not be in vain.- thought to himself as he reached a cliff.
Not caring what was awaiting him down below he unhatched all the explosions and tossed them back.Jumping at the last moment as the frags were set off killing all of them from the heat, gases, and explosion that the frags gave off.
Ian plunder down into a lake surviving a eighty foot drop of the side of a cliff. As he begins to swim towards the rocks that were dry.
"O'Brian, You don't have to worry about this chaos. I will protect your daughter like you did me." Ian cried out as this is the first time he felt pain after losing people he truly saw as family.
Ian cried as he began to look for a path back up the mountain. As he did, he stumbled upon the body's of the Platoon.
-Even if they betrayed me, I at least have to respect the dead.- Ian thought as he dug up a shallow grave and put their bodies in them, covering each grave with stones.
-I need to find Ariel.- was the only thing he was thinking about as he staggered around in the dark.
.....
"lieutenant Sir wake up." Ariel shook Ian. She happened to stumble upon him after coming out of hiding.
"lieutenant"
Ian began to regain conscious and began to weep softly as he saw Ariel. He didn't know how to break the news to her.
"lieutenant it's okay I know what happened, so please don't cry, your not a kid" Ariel tried to calm Ian down but soon broke into tears.
"It's not your fault."
The both of them cried till they couldn't anymore.
'lieutenant can we bury her we aren't to far from her favorite spot here." Ariel says as she helped Ian back to his feet.
"Yes, lets do that for her." Ian says as his face seemed to soften up from the tears.
They walked for a few minutes until they arrived at O'Brian's body. Ian quickly looked into her backpack and pulled out a tarp. placing it beside her he gently lifted up her body and placed her down.
"Okay lets go now."
Both of them carried O'Brian's body down towards a lake that had the water look like a mirror but at the same time was clear enough to see the smallest pebble at the bottom of the lake.
"Right here." Ariel says as she gently placed her mothers body down and dug the earth beneath her. Ian helped out as best as he could. They finished digging and place down her body in the grave.
"Would you like to say a few words" Ariel asked looking at her mother face.
"Yeah."
"Mary O'Brian, I am truly grateful for what you have done for me in this lifetime. I can never repay you for this but with my life. I Ian Sirdeer will solemnly protect your daughter or die trying. Your memory is our keepsake. In which we'll never part. God has you in his arms. And I in my heart. You were more than my comrade, More than a mother figure, I do not know what you can be called, But you were the one who I held the most dear to, and I thank you. We may have gotten off i a bad start but I'm glad we got use to each other. I will never forget you and promise to visit you as much as I can. Until we meet again." Ian sobbed as he quickly turned away.
That night at 18:00 pm. Sgt. O'Brian was pronounced dead. Along with the others, right after they were stripped of there titles and put under as traitors.
